The grilled fish was the star for me. It was cooked perfectly, flaky and moist, with a lovely char on the skin. The freshness really came through. Just a bit pricey for the portion, but I'd order it again.

The staff here are so lovely. Tianah and Ruby were both really friendly and attentive, which made the whole evening feel relaxed and easy. It's nice when the service is just right, not too fussy but always there when you need something.

Breakfast was served hot, good portion sizes. Menu has plenty of options which is useful. Service was efficient, got the bill quickly. Decent value for the location.

The open kitchen is a nice touch, you can see everything being prepared. Staff were really friendly. Food was excellent, especially the pasta. The place itself is nicely decorated, feels modern but cosy. Would go back.

Had a really nice meal here. The seats were comfortable, which made it easy to relax. Looking forward to coming back to try their Sunday roast.

The messy burger is consistently good, I order it often. The modern interior is clean and simple.

Friendly spot, the burger was juicy and hit the spot. The bar had a decent local ale on tap which paired nicely. Just a heads up, the kitchen's shut Mon & Tues nights, but you can grab a takeaway from the bar.

I live pretty far out, but the food always arrives piping hot. The extra delivery charge is worth it for the quality you get. The flavours are spot-on, nothing gets soggy.

The spiced apple drink is a good option if you're not having coffee. It's warm and hits the spot on a chilly day. A bit sweet for my taste, but that's just me.

The hot and sour soup was just right, not too fiery. The satay and soupy noodles were good, but the duck was a bit dry for my taste.

The loaded fries with steak were a proper feed. The chips were crispy, the steak bits were tender, and the whole thing was just a bit messy in the best way. My dog was chuffed with his free sausage too. Solid spot.

Sea Breeze set. Fish and chips, tea, bread. Solid. The fish was fresh, batter crispy. Staff were on it, quick and friendly. Good spot for a no-fuss meal.

Cycled past and stopped for lunch. The beetroot patty baguette was good, and coffee was solid. Menu had decent options.

Came here for a quiet lunch. The wine list was decent, a few nice options. Service was good, they left us to it which was nice. Just felt the prices were a bit steep for a weekday lunch, especially in the off-season.

The staff were so friendly, made us feel right at home. They had a live band playing, which was a nice touch for a relaxed evening. Noticed they had a cash machine outside too, handy for splitting the bill. A pleasant spot for a casual night out.

Booked for nine last minute on a Friday, and they squeezed us in. The portions were huge, everything tasted fresh. Staff were really friendly. Made for a nice birthday dinner.

The beef was tender and the chicken in breadcrumbs was solid. The sweet and sour sauce did get a bit thick as it cooled, but they had a nice house red that paired well with both.

The steak pie was a proper homemade one, lovely flaky pastry. Filling was rich and tender, a really satisfying portion. Just what you want on a cold evening.

Loved the crab sandwich! A bit on the pricier side, but such a nice spot for a casual catch-up with friends.

The onion rings were spot on, and the lamb steak special was cooked just right. Nice touch with the big jugs of water, too.

Wasn't expecting the affogato since it's not listed, but they made it for us anyway! Such a nice surprise to end our catch-up. The coffee was spot on. Made the whole afternoon feel a bit more special.

Sushi was fresh, good flavour. Presentation is neat. Service was efficient, they kept our water topped up without asking. Prices are reasonable for the area. Convenient location near the station.

The lamb shank here is cooked for hours, just falls off the bone. The gravy is rich, not too salty. It's the kind of dish you focus on, nothing else matters while you're eating it. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for in flavour.

Been a regular for years, and the oolong tea is still the highlight for me. Strong, full-bodied flavour that holds up well. It’s the kind of drink that makes a simple meal feel complete. Always consistent.

Food comes out piping hot, which I appreciate. But for the price, I was expecting a bit more on the plate. The quality is there, just wish the portions matched the cost a little better.

The student discount is a nice touch, and the app rewards are handy. Had the pasta with a glass of their house red – a simple but solid pairing for the price. The wine was a bit young, but it did the job. Good spot for a casual bite.

The food was pretty decent. I just wish the staff were a bit more flexible with their policies. It felt a bit rigid for a casual meal.

Portions are definitely on the smaller side, which I actually liked. Meant we could order a few different things without feeling stuffed or wasting food. The scallop dish was just right for two to share.

Glenn's smile is always there. The service is attentive, you never have to look for anyone. It's just smooth.
