A decent local pub for ale. The beer is always in good condition and reasonably priced, which is what keeps me coming back. The staff are friendly too. The food was pretty good the one time I tried it.

Loved the old-world charm here. We grabbed a seat outside overlooking the square on a sunny afternoon. The worn wooden tables and the quiet buzz just felt right. A lovely, timeless spot.

Lovely beer garden with a view of the hills. The staff were really friendly, made us feel right at home. A proper country pub vibe, just what we were after for a lazy Sunday pint.

Been coming here for years. The owners are always friendly and the food is reliably good. It's a proper local pub, not some trendy spot. Just a solid place for a pint and a meal.

The Sunday roast here is a solid choice. Good selection of meats, veggies cooked just right. Found a decent Malbec on the list that paired nicely with the beef. A bit busy, but that's to be expected.

Shared the nachos and garlic mushrooms. Both were spot on, exactly what you want from pub grub. Decent portions for the price too.

Breakfast was solid - loads of choice and everything cooked properly. The harbour view from the room was a nice touch.

A proper local pub, warm and inviting. The staff were friendly. Menu had a good variety, including daily specials. I appreciated their wine list – a decent selection of reds by the glass that paired well with the steak pie. A solid choice for a relaxed evening.

Stopped by for a quick drink and the staff were so nice. They let me try a sip of their house lager before I ordered a pint. The vibe in here is just really relaxed and friendly.

I haven't been to the Fishers Pond so this was a trip back in time. The setting is still as I remember, obviously the staff and menu wasn't going to be the same but I wasn't disappointed, the menu provides a variety of dishes and the roast which we chose was probably one of the best i have had. As for the staff, friendly and efficient, so big 10/10 to all!

Service was efficient for our group of 8. The waitress was attentive, kept drinks topped up and handled the separate bills without fuss. Made a busy Friday dinner run smoothly.

Absolutely excellent roast dinner, we will definitely be back again soon! Everything was brilliant. The lovely new landlady, Rebecca, came around personally to introduce herself and check how our meal was, really nice touch!

Great spot by the seafront. Drinks are cheap and they've got a massive selection.

Been meaning to try this place for ages. The daily special was a proper portion for the price, really hit the spot. The chef clearly knows their stuff, everything was cooked just right. Good value for a proper meal out.

The steak and ale pie was a proper hearty portion, just what you want on a chilly evening. Gravy was rich and deep. Paired it with a robust red from their list, which cut through the richness nicely. Solid pub grub.

Loved the maritime theme here, so many interesting artifacts to look at. The fish and chips were good, but what really stood out for me was the freshness of the ingredients. The peas were bright and the fish tasted very clean. A solid choice for a simple, well-made meal.

The staff were so helpful with my dietary needs, and the seats were actually comfortable. Really appreciated that.

The mixed meat Sunday roast was a proper treat. The Yorkshire puddings were homemade and so fluffy, and the cauliflower cheese was spot on. A really good, hearty plate of food.

Great choice of cask ales. The staff really know their stuff and helped me pick one that wasn't too heavy. Perfect for a relaxed pint.

The quiz night was a blast! The host kept things moving and the questions were actually fun, not just random trivia. We didn't win bingo, but the whole vibe was so energetic. Definitely a solid spot for a laugh with mates.

Nice spot for a quick pint. Staff were friendly, and they’ve got a little playhouse and some toys to keep the kids busy. 👍 Good for a relaxed afternoon.

Been here a few times for a quick lunch. The sandwiches are consistently decent, solid choice for a business meeting nearby. The pub itself has a nice, relaxed vibe.

Sunday karaoke was a blast! The food's decent, but service can be a bit slow when they're short-staffed.

The building's got real character, those low doorways are a fun touch. But honestly, for the price point, the portions felt a bit on the smaller side. You're paying more for the atmosphere than a really filling meal.

A proper local pub, quiet and friendly. No kitchen, but you can bring in your own food. Their ale selection is decent - had a pint of their house bitter that went nicely with my fish and chips. Just the spot for a relaxed evening.

The one-bedroom apartment was spotless and really comfortable. Perfect location for exploring Swanage.

The staff here are so friendly, it makes the whole evening feel relaxed. Came for a couple of local IPAs and ended up staying for dinner. The seats are comfortable too, which is a nice bonus.

Popped in for lunch after a walk. The fish and chips were spot on—crispy batter, proper chips. Just what I needed. A solid pub.
