Decent spot for a quick meal. Portions are generous, no question. The free ouzo at the start and end is a nice touch, not something you see everywhere. Service was efficient, got us in and out. Fine if you're hungry and don't want to overthink it.

Stopped by for a casual dinner and left pleasantly full. Portions are generous, no question. Had a glass of their house red with the pasta—decent pairing, nothing fancy but did the job. Staff were friendly enough, though we waited a bit longer between courses than I'd have liked. Still, warm vibe inside. I'd come back if I'm in the area and craving a relaxed meal.

The waiter was really friendly, even spoke a bit of Italian with us. Gnocchi was the highlight—soft and well-seasoned. Cozy spot overall.

The avocado bread was decent and came out fast—maybe 5 minutes, which worked for me since I was short on time. Egg was a bit overdone though. Not a big deal, just personal taste. Place was busy but I got in and out quick. Fine for a quick bite if you're nearby.

Cozy spot with soft lighting and good music. Food tasted fresh, service was attentive without hovering. Maybe a bit pricey for the portion size, but overall a nice quiet dinner.

The vegan tacos were actually decent. I’m not a vegetarian, but I’d order them again. Price is fair for what you get, especially around here. Service was quick, no complaints. Place gets a bit busy at lunch, but that’s expected. Solid spot if you’re in the area and don’t want to overthink it.

The Haan pizza was pretty good—thin crust, crispy, decent flavor. Nice change from the usual Greek spots around here. I’d order it again if I’m in the area.

The staff tracked us down on Instagram to return a bag I left behind. Food was decent, but that service really stood out.

The staff actually noticed when my glass was empty and refilled it before I had to ask. That kind of attention stands out. Place was packed but they stayed calm and friendly. Didn't feel rushed at all. Just nice to be looked after without having to wave someone down.

Solid Austrian food. Kaiserschnitzel was good, lamb Wienerschnitzel too. Homemade bread with beet spread, nice touch. Place was packed though, took a while to get a table. Worth it for the food.

Food was solid and prices fair for what you get. Service friendly, kept our glasses topped up. Only thing: wine list felt a bit steep. Still, decent spot.

The pumpkin soup was a nice surprise, and the beer hit the spot. Pork knuckle came out a bit too salty for me though. The place itself has that proper old-school vibe, which I liked. Service gets a bit scattered when it's busy, but I'd still sit outside again. Just maybe ask for less salt on the meat.

The freshwater fish here was the real surprise—big portion, cooked simply, and honestly priced for what you get. Steaks are fine too, but I’d come back for the fish. Place sits in a nice green area, though it’s a bit out of the way. Didn’t feel ripped off, which is rare these days.

The Hackbraten here is really something. Got the one from the traditional butcher and it was properly tender, sauce was rich and went perfectly with the buttery mashed potatoes. Place has a cozy vibe, nothing fancy. Service was friendly enough. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Been coming here for years, and the location in the old town never gets old. Food's been consistent every single time. Yeah it's a bit pricey, but you're paying for the quality.

Been coming here for years now. The seafood pizza is still the reason I keep going back. Owner's got that dry humor thing going on, always makes me laugh. Service is there when you need it, not hovering over you the whole time. Classic spot, nothing fancy, just solid Italian food done right.

The owner picked our wines and honestly, he nailed it. Went well with the spicy Calabrian stuff. Food had that real homemade feel, not touristy at all. Place is pretty laid back, easy to hang out in for a couple hours. Would go back for sure.

Food and service are great but the guy was standing on the intrance was very arrogant and he assumed that we don't have reservation and asks us to wait aside. We told him that we do have a reservation and he said ooh but your 10 minutes late so i gave your table.

Decent Altbier and a pretty good vibe. Staff were friendly, service quick. Bit loud inside, but that's fine for a brewpub. Cash only, so come prepared.

No. 8 of Bars in Dusseldorf

The cave interior and Pinocchio theme are fun, and the thin-crust pizza from the fire oven was solid. Service was quick.

Been coming here for a while now. Truffle pasta is still my go-to, never disappoints. Backyard garden is a nice touch too. Prices went up a bit, but the quality keeps me coming back.

Food was good and portions were decent for the price. Staff friendly enough. Solid spot if you want Italian without breaking the bank.

The pizza here is properly thin and crispy, exactly how I like it. Got extra garlic sauce on the side which made it even better. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends.

Stumbled in on a Friday without a booking and they squeezed us in for an hour. Chicken shawarma was super juicy and full of flavor. Fries were a nice bonus. Would've loved more time, but totally worth it 😊

Stopped by for lunch on a quiet afternoon. The Alt beer was really fresh, nice and malty. I had the Senfrostbraten with the cheese and mustard crust — that was a solid choice. Portion was big enough that I didn't need anything else. Prices seemed okay for what you get. Only small thing: the place was a bit chilly inside, but I guess that's part of the old building charm. Would sit near the window next time.

Service was solid - our waitress handled our big group like a pro. Food came out fast, which I appreciated. Decent spot for a quick lunch if you're in the area.

The owner was nice, and the fried potatoes tasted exactly like the ones my mom used to make. Got the Altbier too—that slight bitterness with a hint of sweetness worked for me. Portion size was decent for the price, which I didn’t expect. Place was a bit cramped, but I’d go back for the beer alone.

The food was genuinely tasty and portions were generous. Mediterranean-influenced dishes surprised me in a good way. Staff friendly too. Solid spot if you're hungry.

The paneer masala was the star — proper dhaba-style, tasted like it was cooked slow. Portion was decent for the price, I left full without feeling ripped off. Staff let me take my time, no rushing. Only thing: it got a bit loud later in the evening, but that’s on me for coming at peak hour. Solid spot if you’re after honest food.

The lunch buffet runs €9 and honestly that’s fair for what you get. Chicken curry had real depth, tandoori chicken was properly charred. Not a huge spread, but I didn’t feel shortchanged. Service was a bit brisk, but I’m there for the food. A cold beer cut through the spice nicely.
