Popped in for the cheesy chips during the rugby. The refurb has really warmed the place up. Mika, our waitress, was spot on—kept checking if we needed more sauces without being intrusive. Their house lager was a surprisingly good match for the greasy, cheesy goodness. Solid spot for the game.

Nice spot by the harbour. Perfect for a sunny day watching the boats. The fish and chips are always solid.

Nice local pub, staff are friendly. The food was really good and portions are generous.

The schnitzel was exactly what I was looking for. Good portion size, came with a solid salad. Service was efficient, got in and out for a business lunch without any fuss.

Lovely old coaching inn, full of character. The inside is bright and airy, and they've kept the historic feel while making it feel fresh. Spotted a pool table and darts board too, a nice touch.

Decent spot for a catch-up. The food is proper pub grub, generous portions. You can tell they put effort into it. My friend and I shared a few plates and it was just right for a chilled evening.

Stayed here for a night. The meal deal with the room was decent. Food in the old dining room was solid, better than expected for a hotel. Steak was cooked right. Would do the package again.

The Guinness is a great addition here. It's poured properly and tastes fresh. The team is friendly and the vibe is relaxed, not too loud. A solid spot for a pint.

Always packed, this Wetherspoons. The beer selection is the main draw for me, really solid. Food's fine for the price, nothing fancy but does the job. Gets a bit loud when it's heaving.

The lamb was tasty but a bit gristly. Mentioned it and the response was a bit dismissive. Still a decent spot for a quick bite.

The staff were so friendly and attentive. They handled our large group with ease, and even prepared a special dish for a dietary need without any fuss. It made the whole evening very relaxed.

A decent pub near the harbour, always seems to have a good crowd of locals. We had the fish and chips, which was pretty good. The service was a bit slow, but the atmosphere made up for it.

Popped in for a late lunch with the family. The fish and chips were spot on. Mark was a great host, really welcoming. The house red was a decent, easy-drinking choice with the pie. Made for a relaxed end to the day.

Victoria and Madison were really helpful with the menu. Service was friendly and professional, made ordering easy. A pleasant evening overall.

Been here a few times now, and the food's always solid. The fish pie is my go-to – creamy mash, loads of fish. The local bangers and mash are good too. Server was friendly, had a bit of a laugh with us. No complaints.

Friendly staff, and the food was tasty for the price. Had the chicken korma, it was nicely spiced. Good for a casual bite.

Came here for a lazy lunch with friends. The menu had so many fish options, which was a nice surprise! We ended up sharing a few plates and just chatting for ages. The space is really chill, perfect for a proper catch-up. The seabass was spot on.

A lovely, cosy spot. The sea bass special was really nicely done, and the sticky toffee pudding was just right. What stood out was how comfortable the seating was – you could settle in for a while without feeling rushed.

Great spot for a relaxed evening. The staff were happy to chat about the wine list, which had some interesting local options.

Right by the river next to the old bridge. Such a lovely spot. The light on the water at dusk was just perfect. A bit of a walk from the car park, but worth it for that view.

Perfect spot for a quick lunch. Grabbed the ribs, they were tender and tasty. Came out fast, which is what I needed. Good portion for the price. 👍

They really get it if you have a dog. Our guy was totally welcome, even got a water bowl. Plenty of space for him to chill under the table. 👍

Stopped in on a quiet Monday. The home-cooked food was really good, portions were huge. Friendly landlord too. Just what you need on a slow night.

Decent spot for a quick lunch in town. The service was prompt and staff were friendly. Parking was a bit tricky, but overall it's a solid choice for the price.

They were so nice to serve us breakfast even after hours! The chef made a lovely meal and the tea was perfect. Great for a relaxed catch-up with friends.

Lovely Sunday roast at this pub. The beef was perfectly pink and tender, the Yorkshires were huge and fluffy. Gravy had a good depth to it. A solid pint of their house ale to go with it. Just what you need.

Loved the generous portions here. Josh and the team were brilliant. A solid spot for dinner in the New Forest.
