Been coming here for years, it's right on the quay. The bagels are always fresh, and I usually grab one to go. The sweet pastries are a nice treat too. It's a solid local spot, nothing fancy.

The vibe here is spot on for a catch-up with mates. Cocktails were fab, and the portions are huge - we ended up sharing a couple of plates. Good spot for a group.

A lovely little spot. The green smoothie was sweet and refreshing, and the seats were surprisingly comfortable.

Busy Friday night and the staff still kept things moving smoothly. Good service when it's packed.

The macaroni and cheese was so good, exactly the kind of comfort food I was after. The booth seats were nice and roomy, which made for a really relaxed lunch. Just a lovely, cosy spot.

Been coming here for years. The carrot cake is the main draw for me, it's always moist and generous with the frosting. A decent slice for the price, not stingy like some places. Still my go-to spot in town when I need a treat.

The cakes and snacks here are a real treat. I appreciate that they have some lighter options, and the fruit on the scones tasted genuinely fresh. A nice spot for a mindful afternoon break.

The fried egg on toast was just right - simple but done perfectly. The whole place has a calm, thoughtful vibe. My only small note is that the chairs are a bit hard for a longer sit. But the food is consistently fresh and well-made.

The coffee was strong and hot, perfect for a lazy afternoon. The homemade cakes were a nice touch too.

The staff were so lovely about my picky egg order. It’s the kind of service that makes the bill feel okay, you know? Just a really nice touch.

Stumbled in for breakfast. The bacon and eggs were spot on, really hit the spot. Menu's got loads of options and the prices are fair. Just a solid local place.

Popped in for the first time and grabbed a sourdough loaf. It was still warm, with that perfect chewy crust. The rest of the selection looked tempting too. A solid find.

The pastrami ciabatta really caught my eye. That mustard has a serious kick, just a heads up! The coffee was solid. All the cakes and pastries on display looked fantastic, made it hard to pick just one.

Cosy spot with a log fire, perfect for a chilly afternoon. The menu is massive though - so many sandwich and brunch choices it was hard to decide. Ended up with a classic club, which was solid. Could do with a few less options, honestly.

The charity angle is nice. Food's decent, prices are fair. But the main thing for me was the space – it's got this really calm, open feel, not cramped at all. Makes a difference just sitting there.

Good drinks menu, even has a few vegan options which is nice. The cafe itself feels modern and comfortable, a good spot to just sit for a bit.

The team here are just lovely. Really warm welcome, and they kept an eye on our table even though it was packed. Made a difference.

Lovely traditional tea room with lots of interesting bits for sale. The gluten-free Victoria sponge was really good, and the staff were very kind.

Good spot for a quick lunch. Their salads and baguettes are fresh, and they have a few gluten-free cakes. Service is efficient, staff are attentive. It's clean and well-organised. A solid choice near the office.

Love their outdoor seating on a sunny day. It's just a nice, quiet spot to unwind. I had a simple green tea while reading a book. The breeze was lovely. A perfect little escape for a peaceful afternoon.

The cafe tucked away at the back is a lovely spot. Their coffee pairs nicely with the fresh pastries.

Love the log cabin feel, especially the outdoor tables. Perfect for a quiet morning coffee with my dog after a walk. The breakfast menu had some nice choices. Parking was easy.

A really nice spot for a coffee or a meal near the Common. I popped in for lunch and found the service to be very friendly and unhurried, which was lovely. The seats by the window are quite comfortable.

The seafood platter had a great mix, really fresh. Staff were so nice when they ran low on crab - sorted us out quickly!

Came for a quick lunch. The burger was huge, honestly more than I could finish. For what you pay, you definitely get a lot on the plate. Portion size is a big plus here.

Classic cod and haddock, both fresh. Apple pie and custard to finish. Mark our waiter was lovely. Decent value these days.

Lovely outdoor tables, great for a sunny day. Just sitting there with a coffee, watching people walk past. The chairs are comfy too.

The breakfast here is really solid and filling, perfect before a long trip. Service is quick, even when it's busy. My only small note is that the chairs are a bit hard for a longer sit.
