Veal for two was honestly enough for three or four people. We barely made a dent. House wine did the job too. Solid spot if you want proper Portuguese food without fuss. Nothing fancy but you leave full and happy.

The suckling pig sandwich was pretty good — meat was tender, not dry at all. Market itself is lively, decent spot to grab a bite after Casa da Música. Just wish the bread was a bit warmer, but fine overall. I'd stop by again if I'm in the area.

A hidden gem outside the tourist area, this restaurant features a lovely old dining room and a caring staff that ensures a delightful meal.

Nice little restaurant, we got the wrong order 2 times but the waitress was very friendly and resolved it very quickly

The view from the table was the real highlight—couldn’t stop looking out over Porto. Staff were friendly too, though nothing about the food really stood out.

The chorizo appetizer was decent, pretty flavorful. The fish and chips were the best thing we ordered, really solid. Steak started off fine but turned a bit dry by the end. Aperol spritz was good too. Place was busy but we didn't wait long. Fine for a casual dinner.

Stopped here for a quick lunch and grabbed the seafood rice. Portion was solid, flavor was on point. View of the river is a nice bonus while you eat. Service was fast enough for my break. Bill came out a bit higher than I expected for the area, but the food made up for it. Good spot if you're in a hurry and want something decent.

The wall covered in foreign banknotes is such a cool touch. Sangria went down easy with the tapas. Place had a good buzz to it.

The lighting in there is really something — soft, warm, makes you want to stay longer. We had the fish, which was fresh and well done. Desserts were a bit of a letdown, but honestly I didn't mind much. I'd go back just for that vibe again.

The grilled fish was fresh, well-seasoned. Saw regulars getting the same dish cheaper as a daily special though. Slightly annoying but the fish itself was solid.

Tried the bacalhau com natas from their Too Good To Go bag — super tasty even if it arrived lukewarm 😅

The lunch special was a good call. Portion was generous, and the vegetables still had some crunch. Not fancy, but the ingredients tasted fresh. I liked that they didn't drown everything in oil. Maybe a little more salt on the beans, but honestly fine. I'd come back for the grilled fish plate.

The veggie burger here is legit. Black bean and portobello patty, spicy sauce, jalapeños on top. My kid, who basically lives on meat, actually asked for another bite. That says a lot. Just wish the fries were a bit crispier, but the burger itself? Solid.

The Francesinha Especialissima was solid—lots of meat, cheese melted just right, sauce had a nice kick. Portion was big for the price.

Solid wine list, mostly local labels. Croquettes and cheese board were the standouts. Service stayed attentive even as the place filled up. Good spot for a low-key evening.

The chestnut bread was the standout for me — you can taste they actually care about sourcing. Owner came over and explained the Douro cake too. Solid little family spot.

This restaurant offers a truly authentic Portuguese experience with homemade dishes that are both delicious and generous in portion. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for a casual meal.

Dropped by for dinner and honestly the codfish was the highlight. Really well cooked, flaky and simple. The cheesecake after was solid too. Sat outside on the terrace, pretty quiet and chill. Service was friendly enough, nothing over the top. Just a decent meal, no complaints. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but I'd come back.

Great food, great place with good music and people friendly and professional. I strongly suggest to visit the place for a drink or for dinner!

The lunch deal is honestly a steal—€7 for a full platter with grilled meat, rice, chips, and salad. Portion was solid, left full. Nothing fancy, but for that price I'm not complaining.

The grilled squid was properly fresh, not rubbery at all. Homemade soup hit the spot too. Daughter handled our order in perfect English, which made things easy. Solid spot if you want real Portuguese food without the tourist fuss.

Stopped here for lunch and honestly the seafood was the highlight. Fresh, cooked just right, no complaints. Staff were friendly too, made it feel easy. View helped a lot. Prices fair for what you get. Nothing fancy but solid.

Second visit after a so-so first time—glad I gave it another shot. The lasagna was way better this round, big enough that we skipped dessert.

Our reservation was ready when we arrived and we felt like friends of the family and Bernardo madeWonderful recommendations and took excellent care of us all night!! The Cod croquettes were yummy and the Duck w the Port Sauce exquisito!! Bernardo also recommended the layered dessert that is typical of this part of Portugal. Our evening proved perfect in every way!!

Lunch special’s a solid pick—curry, naan, and rice for €8. Samosas were properly stuffed, came with three sauces that actually had some kick. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Place was quiet when I went, so service was quick. Fine if you’re after a cheap, filling meal.

Turnip dish and strawberry dessert were the standouts. Lovely couple runs the place, and they held our table even with the metro strike delay. Food's inventive, no doubt.

Delicious food and a glam environment. The Italian style and cuisine allows guests to have a great experience.

The view of the city at night is really something, and the seats were comfy enough to just sit there for a while. Steak came out exactly as asked, though the place got a bit loud later on.

The homemade cakes are the move here, you can actually watch them making it. Tried the octopus rice too, pretty solid. Place has a nice vibe to it.
