Great fries, generous portions. The homemade sauces are a nice touch, though it's a bit pricier than your usual frituur.

We had a lovely meal at Ernest bistro. There were seasonal specialities, such as white asparagus, plus Belgian dishes. All very tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive.

Great pub with a proper local feel. Beer list is solid and prices are fair. Bit of a walk from the tourist spots but that's part of the charm. Gets really busy on weekends though.

Lovely little terrace spot for catching up with friends ☀️ Place is tiny so you might end up sharing a table, but that kinda adds to the vibe. Kitchen’s half-open which is fun to watch.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and grabbed the stoofvlees. Meat was properly tender, sauce had that deep rich flavor you want. Portion decent for the price. Place was busy but not chaotic. Nothing fancy, just honest Belgian cooking done right. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The high tea spread looked lovely, and the scones were properly fresh. Upstairs seating gives you a nice peek at the cathedral. Prices felt fair for the portion size.

Cozy vegan place, loved that they had fresh veggie options that weren't just salad. Cocktail was good too. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Cozy little place, staff were friendly. Coffee was solid and the homemade cake really hit the spot. Wish they had more seating though, got a bit cramped.

The monthly menu change is such a smart idea. Seasonal stuff, and honestly the price-quality ratio is tough to beat around here.

The buffet spread here is pretty solid — everything looked fresh and there’s a ton of options. I mostly came for the ice cream though, and honestly it didn’t disappoint. The seating area is comfortable enough to linger a bit longer than planned. Just wish the plates were a bit bigger, had to go back twice.

Cozy spot, though the open kitchen gets a bit smoky. The creative dishes were the highlight — staff was friendly too. Nice place for a casual dinner.

Stopped by for a late lunch on the terrace. Goat's cheese salad was solid, though I wasn't expecting the bacon bits—nice surprise actually. Paired it with a local beer, which cut through the richness perfectly. Prices felt fair for what you get. Wouldn't mind coming back for a lazy afternoon.

The food was so delicious, the atmosphere so cosy and people really lovely. It was our first time there, really loved it! Great find!

The deer stoofvlees special was solid—came back for it after trying it last year. Portion’s decent for the price, especially for this neighborhood. Not fancy, but you won’t leave hungry.

Decent spot for a quick sushi fix. The student combos are honestly the best deal around - generous portions, fish tastes fresh enough. Place is more setup for takeout than dining in, but that's fine. Staff's always been friendly when I've picked up orders. Solid choice if you're in the area and don't want to overthink lunch.

Very extraordinary restaurant, great seafood ! In an unique setting with an excellent service. If you go to Yerseke go to eat there, I really recommend it

Waiter switched to English when he saw us struggling with Dutch. Really saved us. Food was solid, nothing crazy but decent enough for the price.

Dropped by for a quiet dinner and ended up chatting with the owner more than I expected. The food felt properly seasonal, not trying too hard. Small room, like eating in someone's living room, which I liked. Service was attentive without hovering. Only thing is the menu changes often, so don't get attached to a dish.

The river view from the terrace is the real deal, especially at sunset. Food was decent, service quick. Fine for a lunch stop.

The omelette was soft and fluffy, just how I like it. Fresh orange juice was a nice touch too. Service friendly enough, though it did take a moment to get the bill.

The pizza was really good—fresh ingredients, nice thin crust. I got the margherita and it hit the spot. Service was a bit all over the place though, took a while for our order to come out. But the vibe at Hal 5 is nice, so I didn’t mind waiting too much.

Lively spot on the square for a Thursday night. Decent music and a solid beer list, something for everyone. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfy.

Food's decent and the team's friendly enough, but honestly the bill felt a bit heavy for what came out. You're paying for the location here.

Stopped by for a quick dinner last week. The owners run the place themselves, you can tell they put in the work. Had the stoofvlees, proper slow-cooked, rich sauce. Place is calm, no loud music, just decent food. Not cheap but fair for what you get. I'll be back when I'm in the area.

The salmon and tuna cuts are seriously thick and fresh. Fried sushi rolls came out hot and crispy, exactly what I wanted. One set was enough for two people, no joke.

Big breakfast spread here. Tried the eggs, pastries, and some fruit—all fresh, no complaints. Place was busy but still quiet enough to actually talk. They let our dog sit with us too, which was a plus. Portion size for the price felt right, not crazy expensive for what you get. Would come back if we're in the area again.

The grilled fish here is Moroccan style and honestly it was pretty solid. Fresh, well seasoned, came out hot. Place itself is nothing fancy, bare bones kind of setup, but that didn't bother me. Portion was decent for the price too. I'd go back if I'm in the area and craving fish again.

The owner really knows his meat — the steak was cooked exactly how I asked. Place is simple, nothing fancy, but spotless. I liked that there was no fuss, just good food. Only thing is you have to plan ahead to get a table. Worth it though.

Amazing restaurant in a historic building in the Anderlecht district of Brussels. You are seated in the beautiful and calm dining room and have a choice of two versions of the tasting menu. I went for the full menu, and every single food item (more than 15 in total arrived at my table) were absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and made from the finest ingredients. I would give the food 6 stars if I could. The lemon with caviar and langoustine was particularly delicious. Also, the service is fantastic. I had the pleasure of having Fabio take care of my table and he was extremely attentive, very friendly and professional. He is very knowledgeable about the food, the wine and also about the history of the restaurant and the background of the chef and his wife who runs the dining room so smoothly. They all go out of their way to ensure guests have an excellent experience. This was my first visit to La Paix, but I can, without hesitation, give it my very best recommendation.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and grabbed a bottle of their house red to go with the pasta. Solid choice, actually. The new owners are doing a good job keeping things consistent. Food came out fast, hot, and the person at the counter was friendly. Portions are decent for the price. Nothing fancy, but it works.
