The refurb looks nice, but honestly, I'm just here for the food. The grilled octopus starter was the standout. Perfectly charred, tender inside, with a smoky, lemony flavour that was spot on. Could have done with a touch more seasoning, but the texture was just right.

Came for a birthday dinner. Victor and Valya looked after us well, very friendly. Food was tasty, no complaints there. It was a nice, relaxed evening.

Great spot on Western Road, easy to get to. The new kitchen is a real win. Had the Durban curry with roti, really hit the spot. Their house lager was a surprisingly good match with the spice, cut right through it. Pints are always fresh here.

Loved the courtyard. The fountain's gentle sound was so calming, made the fish and chips taste even better. The batter was perfectly light and crisp. A lovely spot for a quiet evening.

Stopped in for lunch while traveling. The meal was nicely prepared and good value. A friendly, well-run pub with a good selection of ales and spirits.

My usual spot for Chinese. The staff always remember my face, which is a nice touch. Food's consistently good, no surprises there. Just a solid, reliable place.

The chicken tikka biryani here is a real find. The rice had all those lovely spices, and the chicken was so tender. I’ll be thinking about that dish for a while!

Great pub quiz on Mondays. The team runs it really well, and Gary and Laura were especially friendly.

The staff are lovely, and they've got a nice little wine list that pairs well with the relaxed vibe. A very pleasant spot.

The wine list is small, but I liked that. It felt thoughtful, not overwhelming. Picked a glass that went perfectly with my pasta without needing a sommelier. Just a nice, uncomplicated choice.

Crispy shredded beef was spot on, nice texture and flavour. Chicken wings had a good kick too, but came out a bit later than the beef. Solid choices.

The Sunday roast was really fresh, with lovely seasonal veg. The quality of the ingredients was spot on.

Booked the function room for a work event. The staff were incredibly helpful and made the whole process so easy. Everything ran smoothly, which was a relief. The food for the group was good, no issues there. A very stress-free experience.

The view of the cathedral from our table was lovely. It was a nice, quiet spot for a long catch-up with friends, even though it's right by the road.

Cosy spot with lovely Christmas decorations. The atmosphere is just right for a relaxed evening out.

We always stop by when we're in the area. The staff are so friendly and the real ale is spot on. It's a proper, cosy British pub. The booths are comfy, which makes it easy to relax for a good while.

Been coming here for years, and the Amarone is still a proper deal. Always order a bottle when we're downstairs for something low-key. Just hits the spot every time.

The steak and kidney pudding was a lovely, hearty choice. Portions are generous, which I appreciate. The booths are quite roomy and comfortable, made it easy to relax. Service was friendly and efficient.

Service was prompt and helpful. They handled my gluten-free request without any fuss, and even boxed up the leftovers.

Lovely pub garden for the warmer months. The atmosphere is always nice and relaxed, which is what I look for. Found a quiet corner table and it was just a very comfortable spot to unwind with a drink. The upstairs pool table is a nice touch too.

The back garden is a real find. They've done a lovely job with the cover, lights and heaters. A proper little hideaway in Reigate. Perfect for a chilled evening with mates.
