The beer garden is a nice spot, especially when it's sunny. A decent place to sit with a reasonably priced pint. It did get a bit busy later on, but overall it was fine.

Popped in for the theme night set menu. Three courses for £20, the soup was proper homemade. Felt like a proper meal, left absolutely stuffed.

The onion bhaji starter is huge, definitely enough to share. Came out steaming hot, which was nice on a chilly evening. Good portion sizes all round.

Perfect for a post-beach walk bite with friends. They even have dog sausages so no one gets left out!

The biriyani was spot on - the rice had a lovely texture and the spice mix was just right. Maybe a bit heavy on the turmeric for me, but still a really nice dish. Keen to come back and explore the rest of the menu!

The fish and chips are always spot on. The batter is so light and crisp, just how I like it. The chips are proper thick-cut and never feel oily. A solid choice.

Loved the cosy, rustic vibe here. They've used the space so cleverly, creating these little nooks that feel almost private. It made our meal feel really relaxed and comfortable.

The hot plates are a thoughtful detail, keeping the food warm. I appreciate that the quality of the ingredients feels consistent each time I visit. The vegetables are always fresh and crisp.

We had an absolutely gorgeous meal. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have chosen a better venue.Only staying in Climping for two nights, we chose the Oyster Catcher not knowing what we would be faced with. The pub is welcoming and inviting in smart but casual surroundings. The staff were attentive, friendly and polite without being pushy or insincere. Our meal was sensational, tasty Chicken Curry for him and Garlic Lamb Skewer for me. Fabulous! Thank you for making our celebration all the more memorable.

Came here for a date night. The welcome was lovely, and every single plate was cleared by the end of each course – that really says it all about the food. A nice spot for a special occasion.

Loved the afternoon tea! The china teapot was huge, perfect for a long catch-up. Crumpets were warm and delicious. The decor is so comfy, we ended up staying for ages just chatting.

Been coming here for years. The feta and beetroot salad is always spot on - fresh, simple, and exactly what I'm after. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back.

Loved the vibe here! The warm lighting and all the plants made it feel so cosy. Perfect for a chilled midweek catch-up with friends. We ended up staying for ages just chatting.

Lovely little spot, perfect for date night. We shared a few plates and everything was spot on. The burrata starter was particularly dreamy - so creamy! A bit on the pricier side, but the cosy vibe made it worth it.

Love the vibe here, always feels like a proper local spot. Staff are genuinely friendly, happy for a quick chat. Nice mix of regulars and new faces, makes it a comfy place to drop into.

Came across this place by chance. No TVs, no loud music. Just a quiet pub where you can actually hear your friends talk. A real find.

The ingredients were so fresh, you could taste it. My salad had crisp greens and ripe tomatoes. The grilled chicken was perfectly seasoned, not oily at all. A really nice, light lunch. The venue itself is very charming and authentic.

Really nice staff here, super friendly. The portions are massive too - my friend and I shared a main and still had leftovers. Good value for money, honestly.

Popped in for a late lunch. The lasagne was clearly homemade, really hit the spot. Place was spotless and quiet, which was nice for a change. Just a solid, simple meal.

The tapas were incredible, especially the gambas al ajillo. The prawns were so fresh, cooked just right in that garlic oil. Flavours were subtle but really came through. Best I've had in ages.

Came for lunch, got the G&T. The raspberries in it were a nice touch, presentation was spot on. The drink itself was sharp and refreshing, just what you want. Food was decent too.

Lovely to have the choice a about how the fish is cooked. Love fish and chips but wanted our fish grilled for a change and it was well cooked served with lemon and parsley butter. Wine good, food lovely. Good value.

Been to Thailand a few times, and this place really nails the flavours. The green curry was spot on. Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends, though the decor is a bit of a mix.

Booked for a big group. Staff handled it all smoothly from start to finish. Food came out quick, no stress. Made the evening easy.

Been coming here for years. The chicken jalfrezi is always spot on, proper flavour. Peshwari naan is a must. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Nice to sit by the harbour.

Good for a quick bite when you can't be bothered cooking. Food's solid and always comes well-packed.
