The jibox has a huge selection of songs, which was a fun touch. The bar staff were really friendly and made for a nice evening out. Drinks were decent, though the music did get a bit loud later on.

Breakfast was a nice surprise, good value.

The smashed patty with the crispy edge was spot on. For the price, I'd expect a bit more than just the burger though.

Came in after a disappointing experience nearby. Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, which made a difference. The pub has a proper, down-to-earth feel—less pretentious than others around here. Good spot for a straightforward pint.

Good local pub. Plenty of pool tables and the sports are always on. Dot poured me a cracking pint, one of the best I've had in ages. Just a solid, reliable spot for a quiet pint after work.

Loved the Queen Victoria theme here! The decor is so charming, really gives the place its own character. Spotted so many little details in the wallpaper and old portraits. Staff were lovely too.

A cozy family-run spot. The ingredients in their dishes taste so fresh, which I really appreciate.

Great spot, good vibes. The beef and fried chicken were spot on, but the edamame was a bit cold. Cocktails are top-notch.

The sushi here is pretty good, fresh and nicely presented. I was pleasantly surprised by their vegan Peking duck, it’s a decent take on the classic. The place was a bit warm though.

A proper cosy pub, just what I was after. Loved the local ales on tap, really solid selection. The whole place just feels welcoming and unpretentious, perfect for a quiet pint.

Small, quiet spot, perfect for a late lunch meeting. Had the place to myself mid-afternoon. The steak sandwich was decent, though the fries were a bit cold. Good for a focused chat without the usual crowd noise.

Been coming here for years, always a reliable pint in the centre.

The staff are lovely, really friendly and fun to chat with. Food was pretty good overall, but the dessert was just fine. I’d come back.

Had the three-course lunch. Everything was really tasty. The staff were lovely and gave me a great suggestion for the main course. It made choosing easy.

Been coming here for years. The haddock is consistently spot on, and the curry sauce is the best around. Portions are still generous.
