Stan kept the mimosas coming without us having to ask. That's the key for a bottomless brunch. Food was decent, but the seamless refills made it. He just nailed the timing.

cheap booze, can be quite busy and hard to find a table

Had the seafood stew again, it's always spot on. The harbour view from the window table is lovely. My only quibble is the wine list feels a bit limited for a place with such good food.

Unbelievable value for money for a bottomless brunch! The service from Victoria and Charlie was top-notch, making it a great choice for students looking to have a good time without breaking the bank.

The cheeseburger was so loaded with cheese it was almost messy, in a good way. The fries came in this huge bucket - we couldn't finish them and ended up taking a doggy bag home.

Sunday evening was quiet, perfect for a quick drink. The £12 pizza and pint deal is solid. Bartender was efficient.

Been a regular for years. The generous portions are great, but their house red is a bit too heavy for my taste. Still, a solid spot.

I have visited The Fox Den three times over the last month or so and on each occasion the food and the service have been fantastic.Special shout out for the pie of the day. I had a steak and ale pie a few weeks ago and my friend enjoyed a turkey and mushroom pie this week - both huge portions and delicious.

Good pre-theatre option near the Hippodrome. The set menu was efficient and the food arrived promptly. Staff handled the rush well. A solid choice if you're on a schedule.

The Turkish sweets and pastries here are all made fresh in-house. I found the baklava particularly lovely, not overly sweet. The staff were very friendly and let me try a few things before I decided. A nice, relaxed spot for a treat.

The afternoon tea was so inventive, and I really appreciated how well they handled my gluten allergy. The room had lovely natural light too.

Sunday lunch here is a proper feed. The portions are huge, and you get a good selection of veg. Service was friendly and on the ball. A bit of a wait for the bill, but that’s a minor thing.

The service here is spot on. Staff were friendly without being overbearing, and they kept our water glasses topped up throughout the meal. It just lets you relax and enjoy your food.

The Sunday roast is as good as they say. The beef and pork belly were spot on, with plenty of veg. Connor was a top lad.

The food presentation is stunning. Their wine list had some interesting pairings to complement the colourful dishes.

First time in, and the food was just as good as everyone says. The service was really on point too. Just a heads up, they prefer cash.

The brisket melt sandwich was spot on, just like you'd get in a proper American diner. Great for sharing with friends, the portions are massive!

The staff here are always friendly and attentive. Quick to refill drinks and check on orders. Makes the after-work pint very efficient.

Great value lunch, huge portions. The food was tasty and the service was quick. Lovely, calm spot with those marina views.

The portion sizes here are generous for the price, which I appreciate. I noticed the salad greens were particularly fresh and crisp. Makes it feel like a good value meal without compromising on ingredient quality.

Had a business lunch here. Billy, our waiter, was on point - quick, knew the menu, and kept things moving without hovering. Exactly the kind of efficient service you need when you're on a schedule. The steak was cooked right, no fuss.

The curries are seriously flavourful, and the chicken was spot-on. Portions are big, I couldn't finish mine. Good stuff.

Been coming here for years, and that fireplace is the main reason. It's just the right kind of cozy on a cold night. You can grab a corner table, and it feels like your own little spot for the evening.

They squeezed us in after a long bike ride, which was a lifesaver. Sunday roast was solid, came with all the veg. Just what we needed.

The Indian lunch set is a solid deal. Had the chicken masala today, flavour was spot on but I'd have liked a touch more heat. Portions are generous for the price.

Lunch menu cod and patatas bravas - such a good deal! The fish was spot on. Great for a casual catch-up with a friend, we ended up staying for another drink because the list looked so good. 😊

The steak was spot on, exactly how I like it. Even though the place was packed, our server was really on it. Perfect for catching up with friends without feeling rushed.
