Stopped by for a quick bite and honestly the portions were bigger than I expected for the price. Got the chicken souvlaki plate and it filled me up, no need for a second course. Service was fine, nothing fancy. Decent spot if you're hungry and don't want to spend a fortune.

The waffles with ice cream were really good, and the garden seating is lovely. Service gets a bit slow when they're packed, but we weren't in a hurry.

Quiet spot right in the middle of the busy square. Grabbed a coffee, sat for a bit, no rush. Good if you need a break from the noise. Service was fine, nothing special. Just a simple stop.

The kimchi stew here is solid. Comes with three sides and rice, portions are big enough that I couldn't finish. For the price, it's fair. Service was quick, no complaints. Place gets busy around noon though.

Quiet spot off the square. Sake was good, sushi tasted fresh. That's about it. Fine for a chill meal if you're nearby. Nothing fancy, but it did the job.

We’ve been coming here for years and honestly it’s had its ups and downs. This last visit though? Really good. Pantelis took care of us and made the whole thing feel easy.

The staff were friendly and the music kept the energy up while we ate. Karaoli hit the spot, and a cold glass of wine made it even better.

The staff at The Clumsies are incredibly friendly and attentive. They really take the time to recommend cocktails based on your preferences, which enhances the overall experience.

No. 2 of Bars in Athens

The pork was cooked just right, not dry at all. Tzatziki was creamy and the pita soft. Portion size was decent for the price, which is always my main thing. I left full without feeling ripped off. Simple Greek food done properly.

Stopped by for a late lunch, grabbed a seat outside. Sausage plate did the job, decent char on them. The beer list is solid, nothing fancy but good enough. Salad was fresh, not overdressed. Place is small, gets a bit tight when it's busy. Fine spot if you're in the area and want something simple.

We shared the seafood platter—calamari, shrimp, mussels, octopus—everything tasted properly fresh. Sitting right by the water made it better. Bill was fair for what you get, especially with that view. Only thing is the service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a rush anyway.

Great spot right by the sea. Fried sea bass and calamari were solid, wine pairing worked well. Service was quick enough for a lunch break. 👍

The cocktails John made were genuinely creative—you can tell he puts thought into each one. I had the one with basil, really fresh. Nice place to just sit and sip something well-crafted. Not too loud either, which I appreciated. Just wish the food menu had a few more lighter options, but the drinks alone are worth stopping by for.

Decent food, generous portions. Had a quick bite and a drink — staff were friendly enough. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Came back two nights in a row for the moussaka and chicken souvlaki. Split both plates again, no regrets. Short walk from Plaka, and they threw in a free dessert that hit the spot.

The grilled squid was spot on. Tender, smoky, just enough seasoning. Price was fair for the portion. Didn't care much about the decor, but the fish alone makes it worth stopping by.

The catch of the day was properly fresh, and they paired it well with a nice Assyrtiko. Interior's got that classic Greek taverna feel. Service stayed out of the way, which I appreciated. Solid spot for seafood in Athens.

We went for a business dinner and the view really stood out. Formal but not stiff, which I appreciated. The fish was fresh, cooked simply, no heavy sauces. Prices are on the higher side, but for that setting it makes sense. Service was attentive without hovering. I’d come back for the calm atmosphere alone.

Grilled sardines and stuffed calamari were spot on. Cozy spot right by the sea. Service dragged a bit when it got busy though.

Gelato was solid. Rich, creamy, not too sweet. Lemon and orange flavors hit the spot on a hot day. You can tell they don't mess around with cheap stuff. Place was busy but worth the wait.

The terrace outside is really nice, we sat there for a couple of hours. Smoked pork was the highlight, proper smoky flavor and cooked well. Eggplant dish surprised me too, not something I usually order but it worked. Portions are big, we actually had leftovers. Only thing, service got a bit slow once it filled up. Still, solid spot.

The server actually took time to explain the whole menu and suggested a Greek iced coffee I wouldn’t have picked myself. That alone made the stop worth it. Pancakes with eggs and bacon hit the spot too—sweet and savory in one plate. Place was a bit busy but fine.

The house wine was decent, better than I expected. They had a few local whites that worked nicely with the grilled octopus. Nothing fancy, but fine for a casual dinner. Service was a bit slow, though. Still, I'd probably come back for the wine list alone.

Right on the square, super easy to find. Meat dishes were solid, though portions felt small for what we paid. The loukoumades at the end saved it though.

Nice spot to sit and people-watch for a while. We grabbed a couple of coffees and just chilled. The bill came out a bit more than I expected for what we got, but the location makes up for it. Not somewhere I'd go for a full meal, but fine for a quick stop.

The frozen yogurt with strawberries and honey was really tasty. Staff were friendly but the seating area felt a bit cramped, could use more space between tables.
