Stopped by for a quick bite and honestly the smell hit me as soon as I walked in. Got the burger—tasty, no doubt, but kinda small for what it costs. Place itself is roomy though, so you're not squeezed in. Fine if you're hungry and nearby.

Nice spot to grab a quick bite. Cozy inside, and the garden seating is a plus when the weather's good. Didn't have to wait long for my food, which I appreciated. The place has a decent vibe for a casual lunch. Nothing fancy, but it does the job. I'd come back if I'm in the area and need something fast.

Stopped by for a drink and the frozen daiquiri hit the spot. Staff were friendly enough. AC was cranked up which felt great after walking around in the heat. Nothing fancy but it did the job.

Loved the vibe here. Sitting right on the sand with a drink, watching the waves — that's it. Prices felt fair for what you get. Service was friendly too.

The staff were super friendly and patient, that part was great. My curry rice noodles though? Kind of bland, no real flavor. Made-to-order is a nice touch but the food didn't quite match.

Beetroot salad was the standout. Simple, balanced, not trying too hard. Place is small, easy to walk past. Fine if you want something quiet.

The crispy octopus salad was the highlight for me—perfectly grilled, not rubbery at all. Staff were friendly and actually helpful when I asked about the day's catch. Cozy little spot in Athens, easy to miss from the street. Sushi was decent, though the rolls felt a bit pricey for what you get. I'd come back for that octopus though.

Stopped by for a coffee near Gardenia Square—solid spot. Their homemade lemonade caught my eye, though I wished they had a wine option to pair with it. Nice enough for a quick break.

Selected for Must-Visit Restaurants in Athens

The bibimbap was tasty and the miso soup warmed me right up. Liked that the gochujang came on the side.

Been coming here for a while now. The Balinese fried rice is still the best I've had in Greece, hands down. Asked for my fried egg well done again this time, and they remembered without me having to repeat it. That consistency is why I keep coming back. Place gets busy around dinner, but it's worth it.

We stopped by for a late lunch and I was really impressed with how fresh everything tasted. The vegetables had that just-picked crunch, you know? Even the simple stuff felt carefully put together. Prices seemed reasonable for what you get. Service was friendly too, though it did get a bit busy around 2pm. Nice little place if you're in the area and want something light.

Stopped by for a quick coffee last week. Greek coffee in the briki was solid, strong like it should be. Good spot to just sit and watch the street go by. Service was fine, nothing fancy. Place gets a bit loud when it fills up, but that's not a dealbreaker. I'll be back when I'm in the area.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Cheese and Greek salad were solid, stuffed squid too. But honestly the dessert was the highlight, didn't expect that. Place felt warm, staff were nice about us taking our time. Wouldn't mind coming back just for that sweet thing again.

The beef kebab was so tender and juicy, definitely the highlight for me. Also tried their homemade sour cherry dessert—unexpected but really nice touch.

No. 9 of Fine Dining in Athens

The arancini were solid, definitely the standout. Pizza had a great crust too. Service was quick and friendly. Good spot for a fast lunch if you're in the area.

Stopped by for dinner and honestly the food was solid, but what really got me was the wine list. Found a Greek red I hadn’t tried before and it paired beautifully with the lamb. Place looks like Aladdin’s Cave inside, a bit chaotic but charming. Service was friendly, though we did wait a while for the bill. Would come back just for that wine.

The pad thai here is legit. Noodles had that proper wok char, peanuts crushed fresh on top. Tom yum was sour enough, shrimp cooked right. Didn't care much about the room or service, just ate and left. Price is fair for what you get in Athens. Would come back for that pad thai again.

The beet salad was spot on, and the fish of the day didn't disappoint either. Modern take on Greek classics, done right. Plus that Acropolis view at night is hard to beat.

Came for dinner last week. The live Greek music was the highlight — been over a year since I heard that quality. Chef knows how to handle seasonal ingredients, no complaints there. Service was efficient, got us seated right away. Place is easy to find too. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

We came here for a late dinner and honestly the food was the highlight. I got the lamb and it was so tender, like falling apart with just a fork. My friend had the pasta and kept stealing bites of mine lol. The place got a bit noisy later but it didn’t bother us much. Would come back just for that lamb again 😊

The mixed grill for two is a feast—easily enough for three. Meat was tender and well-seasoned, and the staff made us feel welcome even without speaking Greek.

The bitter greens they recommended were a standout—simple but perfectly done. Prices are fair for the generous portions.

We got there before the rush, so it was pretty quiet. Pizza was generous, good crust. Only thing, the waiter tried to take my plate while I was still eating. Felt a bit hurried. Otherwise, a comfortable spot to just sit and eat. I'd come back.

The saganaki was great, and the hosts even sent us home with extra cake. Nice spot, though the stairs were a bit much.

The food is honestly the whole reason to come here. Portions are big, flavors taste proper and real. Service was a bit all over the place, but I didn't really care once the dishes landed. Just focus on the plates and you'll leave full and happy. That's enough for me.

The grilled octopus was perfectly tender and tasted super fresh. Loved that they use good olive oil. Portions are generous too.

The hummus with beef and pine nuts is still my favorite thing here. Staff actually remember you, which is nice. Muhalabie with rose water was a sweet finish.
