The cheese balls were decent, and the sausage casserole was pretty good too. Simple, traditional cooking done right. No draft beer, which was a bit of a letdown, but the food made up for it. Fine spot if you're after something hearty.

Stopped by for lunch and the souvlaki was spot on 🔥 Staff were super friendly too. Honestly liked it so much we ended up coming back for dinner later that day.

The pornstar martini here is genuinely good—probably the best I've had, and I've tried a few. Cocktail list is decent overall, not too fussy. Lighting gives the place a nice mood without trying too hard. Only thing is it got a bit busy later on, but that's on me for staying. Fine spot for a drink if you're in the area.

Been coming here for years, same family running it the whole time. Food's still homemade and honest, menu changes with whatever's fresh. Owner remembers you, makes you feel like you're at his place.

Shared breakfast was perfect for two, tons of food. My freddo cappuccino was spot on. Prices are fair and the staff were lovely. Good spot to catch up with friends. 😊

Came for the mixed fish platter—swordfish, bream, salmon, shrimp. Grilled well, nothing overdone. Right across from the beach, so the whole place feels open and breezy. House wine was decent. Only thing: the seating’s a bit tight, but you’re not really there for the chairs.

Stopped by The Bankery for a quick coffee and something sweet. The pastries really are good, fresh and not too heavy. Prices are fair for the location, right in the center of Rethymno. It was busy but I found a seat by the window, which was nice. Service was friendly enough, though I did wait a bit to order. Fine for a relaxed break.

The seafood risotto was the star—creamy, loaded with fresh stuff, and I paired it with a solid Greek white wine that cut through the richness nicely. Gyros pita was okay, nothing special. Sat right by the sea, which made the whole thing feel better. Service kept it simple and friendly.

The tuna steak was unreal 😍 and the cocktails hit the spot while watching the sunset. Staff were super sweet with our kids. We actually came back the next day for lunch.

The grilled calamari was seriously good and the portion size actually made sense for the price. Fish tasted super fresh too. Would come back with my friends for sure 👍

We stopped in for lunch and the owner was right there, making sure everything ran smoothly. I asked about gluten-free options and they handled it without any fuss. Even sent us home with a little jar of their house salt, which was a nice touch. Seats were comfortable too, so we didn't feel rushed. Just a pleasant, easy meal.

Nice spot right by the beach, parking was easy too. Staff friendly and quick to help. Good for a casual stop if you're in the area.

Nice spot for breakfast, view over Souda Bay is lovely. WiFi held up fine and the food did the job. Nothing fancy, but it works.

Lovely spot to just chill with a drink and watch the sea. Sunbeds were comfy and the staff kept things easy.

Came here on a busy night and honestly the drinks are priced right for what you get. Bartenders kept up even when it got packed, no complaints there. Place gets loud later but that's kind of the vibe. I'd stick around for another round if I didn't have to work the next day.

We stopped by on a busy Saturday and somehow got a table fast. They did mix up our order once, but then brought out free waffles to make up for it. The ice cream was really creamy, and the bubble waffle had that nice chewy texture. I just wish they had more fruit toppings to balance the sweetness.

Stopped here because it was right in the middle of Rethymno and easy to find. Grabbed a gyros and some souvlaki—both were really solid. Nothing fancy, just a simple street-side setup, but honestly that's part of the charm. The seating is pretty basic though, so don't expect to linger too long. Fine for a quick bite.

The fava was the standout—so creamy and full of flavor. Had to wait a bit without a reservation, but the daily special made up for it. Heads up: bread isn't free.

Stopped by for lunch, sat in the shaded courtyard. Got the Cretan lamb, pretty solid. Service was friendly, no complaints. They brought out raki and a little dessert on the house, which was a nice surprise. Place has a good vibe, tucked in the old town. Maybe a bit touristy but I'd go back.

Moussaka was solid. Cheesecake too. View from the terrace made it worth stopping. Place gets busy around sunset, so you might wait a bit. But yeah, food did the job.

The four cheese pasta is still the best I've had around here. Tried the burger and salad too, all solid. Beats most of the beachfront spots for the price.

The Cretan pizza with goat cream is a wild one—glad I tried it, though I'd grab a glass of red to balance the tang. Classic pies looked safer for pickier folks.

Been coming here for years now. That antikristo lamb still gets me every time - proper smoky, falls off the bone. Sitting by the water with the trees around you, it's just easy. Portions are big, you definitely won't leave hungry. Prices are alright too, considering what you're getting. Place gets busy though, so come early if you can.

Stopped by for a quick bite and honestly left pretty full. Got the moussaka, it was warm and comforting, felt like something homemade. Place wasn't too busy around 2pm, so it was chill. Service was fine, nothing crazy. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

We grabbed a table by the window, the sea view was really nice. I had the grilled fish and a big Greek salad. The tomatoes and cucumbers tasted like they were picked that morning, super fresh. The owner was checking on tables the whole time, which I appreciated. Just wish the bread was a bit warmer, but the freshness of the veggies made up for it.

Came back twice while we were here. The pizza tasted properly homemade, not the usual tourist stuff. Staff let us take our time too.

Came here for a lazy afternoon. Cocktails were decent, not too sweet. Staff were friendly enough, and the sunbeds were actually comfortable. Service on the beach was pretty good too. Only thing is it got a bit busy later on, but that's expected for a beachfront place. Fine for what it is.

Stopped in for a quick bite and the savory crepe was really fresh. Nice ingredients, not too heavy. Greek coffee on the side hit the spot.
