Breakfast was a treat. The mushrooms were fresh and flavourful, and the bubble and squeak had a lovely crisp to it. Really enjoyed the local, friendly atmosphere here.

The veggie afternoon tea was lovely, and the prosecco was a perfect pairing. The spinach fritter 'burger' was a standout. A nice touch for a celebration.

Solid spot for a quick bite before a train. The sandwich selection is decent, cold drinks are handy. Water machine at the station was broken, but they filled my bottle without any fuss. Appreciated the practical help.

Parking was easy enough nearby. The road outside was pretty busy though. Just a short walk from our hotel, which was handy.

The takeaway burger still had that just-grilled taste. Juicy patty, crisp lettuce, the works. Impressive for a boxed meal.

Grabbed a pasty and a sandwich with my mates. Both were warm and filling, good for the price. Just the right spot when you're out and about and need something quick.

The staff here are genuinely friendly and welcoming. They remembered my usual drink order, which was a nice touch. The service made the whole evening relaxed and enjoyable.

The chicken tikka was spot on, really juicy. My partner's lamb sheesh was great too. The garlic naan was a proper highlight, so soft and fragrant. Just a nice, relaxed meal.

The £1.90 latte is a real find for Stafford. Food is consistently fresh and clean, which is nice. The coffee itself is decent, though nothing too fancy.

The pistachio mousse cake was a lovely treat. It's a decent size portion for the price, which is always a plus. The hot chocolate is good too. A solid spot for a sweet pick-me-up.

The food here is really nice, honestly better than I expected. The staff were lovely too, very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. It's a good spot for a relaxed meal.

Been coming here for years, love that it's still family-run. The lasagna is always spot on, just like Nonna used to make. Portions are generous, and the house red is a solid choice. A proper local gem.

Daniel was so helpful when I was deciding what to order. He knew the menu inside out and made the whole process feel really easy. A very comfortable and pleasant lunch.

The unlimited soft drinks for a couple of quid is a decent deal. They still have the full-fat Coke on tap for refills, which is a nice touch.

Grabbed a takeaway before my train. The food was good, and the staff were so friendly and efficient. Made the wait much more pleasant.

The gluten-free pasta was cooked separately, which I appreciated. It had a nice al dente texture, and the sauce was rich without being heavy. A solid option for anyone with dietary needs.

Lovely spot by the river for lunch. The light in there is just right, not too bright. Food was tasty and portions were decent. A really pleasant, relaxed vibe.

Live music on Sundays is a treat. The sound quality is top-notch, though drinks are a bit pricey.

Good choice of food, excellently prepared and presented. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. We’ll certainly go again.

A bit pricier than other spots around, but you can taste why. We shared a few small plates and everything was so fresh and flavourful. Perfect for a proper catch-up with friends.

A bit on the expensive side, but you can taste it in the ingredients. The service was attentive without being fussy. Felt like a proper treat.

Solid spot for a quick lunch in Buxton. The owner is genuinely friendly, which made the service feel efficient and pleasant.

A group of us went for the 'Rock & Roll' night. The entertainer was excellent if a bit to loud. The food was pretty good. the prawn cocktail sauce was rather watery but the prawns were fine. The serving of pate was very generous but the bread was like concrete. I think it had started life as a sourdough baguette, been re-warmed then allowed to go cold.We were very pleased with the main course being served with separate dishes of potatoes and vegetables so you could choose what you wanted and how much. Our table all had the salmon which was lovely. The sweets were all good as well.A grand night was had by all.

Coffee was solid, and it's a good £1-£1.50 less than the places nearby. Just a simple, decent cup without the fancy price tag.

The ingredients taste so fresh here, especially in the salads. Really good quality for the price.

I drive a fair way for this place. The portions are generous, and the quality is solid for the price. Always happy to make the trip.

Been coming here for years. It's always just the right kind of quiet after a long walk, never too crowded. That's what keeps me coming back. The space feels open and modern, but still cosy enough to properly unwind.

The sizzling lamb was the star for me, really packed with flavour. Portion size was decent for the price, especially in this area. I'd order that again.

Friendly staff, no question. But it's definitely on the pricier side for a dessert spot. You're paying for the quality though - the flavours are spot on. Just a heads-up, parking nearby isn't free.
