Been coming here for years, and the BLT is always spot on. That farmhouse bread, the fresh salad and slaw... just hits the spot every single time. It's my go-to lunch.

We were in a rush before a film, but they got a lovely selection of starters to us in no time. The wine list had some nice options to pair with them, too.

The takeaway always arrives piping hot, which is great. The online system remembering my last order is a real time-saver.

Spontaneous stop while passing through. The bar staff were friendly and efficient. Sat by the fireplace, which was a nice touch on a cold day. Portions were generous for under £10 a meal. Good, straightforward pub food.

Staff were really helpful with my gluten-free needs, which I appreciate. They checked everything carefully to avoid cross-contamination. Felt looked after.

Been coming here for years, and the Chicken Balti curry is always spot on. It's the one thing I can count on. Town centre's always busy, but that's fine. Just a solid, tasty curry every time.

Been here a few times now. Staff are friendly, they keep an eye on things without hovering. Makes for a relaxed meal.

Cosy spot with lots of character. Found a quiet nook perfect for a relaxed evening. The staff were friendly and suggested a lovely local red that paired beautifully with the charcuterie board. A bit on the pricey side for the portion, but the wine selection made up for it.

The new team is doing a good job. Had a lovely cold Guinness with my steak pie - a proper pairing for a hearty meal. The sunset view from the garden was a nice bonus. Staff were on it.

Had the chocolate & strawberry pot and pistachio brownie. Both were spot on. The cafe itself is quiet and comfortable, good for a quick coffee meeting.

The Sunday all-you-can-eat is a good deal. The Pad Thai was spot on, noodles had that nice chew. Massaman curry was rich, the beef tender. You can tell the dishes are made fresh.

The birthday cake was a lovely touch, and it paired nicely with their house red. A thoughtful gesture.

Had a lovely catch-up here with friends. The starters were good, but the main course was the real star – the lamb was so tender! The atmosphere was relaxed, perfect for a long chat. A bit on the pricier side, but we all left happy.

The fish is so fresh, you can taste the quality. The new owners kept the same high standards, which is a relief. Really appreciate the focus on simple, clean ingredients. The welcome was warm, but the portion felt a bit small for the price. Still, a solid spot for a healthy meal.

Popped in on a drizzly afternoon. The place is cosy, good for that kind of weather. Coffee was spot on – really well roasted and brewed. Just what you want when it's grey outside.

Solid spot for a quick business lunch. Had the steak pie with a pint of their house ale. Pie was hearty, ale was decent. Service was efficient, got the bill sorted quickly. Good for a no-fuss meal near the office.

Great spot to catch the game with plenty of screens. Atmosphere was solid. Paul at the bar is a good lad, pours a decent pint. Service is quick, which is key when you're in and out.

Lovely spot with a nice view. The food is decent pub grub, pretty wholesome. Service was friendly enough. A solid choice for a casual meal.

Came here for breakfast two days straight. The bacon was nicely done, and the sausages had a good snap to them. Eggs, black pudding, the lot – all spot on. Even grabbed a couple of cakes to go, which were lovely. Staff were really friendly.

Great spot to bring the dog. They even have a special menu for them, which is a nice touch. Food came out fast too.

The full English breakfast was a real treat after a long walk. The breakfast potatoes were a total standout for me – perfectly crispy and seasoned. I’d never had anything quite like them before.

Late afternoon visit. Staff were very accommodating, found us a table quickly. Hot drinks and mince pies were just what we needed. Good spot to wind down.

Food was really nice, looked great on the plate. Had the gluten-free pasta, which was a solid choice. A bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for here.

I highly recommend this place for families! The food is delicious, and the environment is welcoming, making it a great spot for a Sunday lunch.

Lovely little tea room, feels very rustic and cosy. Sat in the conservatory which was nice and bright. The outdoor area looked great for a sunny day.

Nice spot for breakfast. The waffles were good, gave me ideas for home cooking. Would return, but the vegetarian menu is a bit limited.

Had the roast lamb in a brioche bun with a pint of Neck Oil. The lamb was tender, really well-seasoned, and the brioche was soft but held up. The beer was crisp and cold. Just a solid, tasty combo.

Stopped in for a quick coffee. The gluten-free cake selection was actually decent, which is rare for a small cafe. Staff were nice, place is tidy.

A proper fry-up, done right. The black pudding was spot on, the eggs just runny enough. What really made it was the coffee - a robust, dark roast that stood up to the rich food. A classic pairing, and they nailed it.

Jordan and Dan were on it. Explained the allergy stuff clearly, double-checked everything. Felt looked after.
