The coffee is genuinely good, one of the best in Derby. I'm picky, so that's a real compliment. The flat white had a lovely, smooth crema. Just a shame the cup felt a bit small for the price.

The staff are quick and efficient. The barista remembered my usual order and started making my caramel latte as soon as I walked in. It’s a nice touch. The coffee itself is decent, though a bit on the sweet side for my taste.

Service was quick and they were happy to swap items on my breakfast plate. I asked for extra mushrooms and got a generous portion, no fuss. Makes a difference when they just get on with it.

Lovely quirky place, lots of interesting seating areas. Found a hidden garden terrace upstairs which was a nice surprise. Had a really relaxed drink there, the atmosphere was so cozy.

The staff were really friendly and attentive. I had the grilled salmon, which was lovely. They even surprised me with a birthday drink, which was a nice touch.

Took the family here for a treat. The loaded fries were spot on – crispy, with just the right amount of cheese and bacon. Burgers were juicy too. Bit on the pricey side, but the kids loved it.

Been coming here for years, and the magic show is still a fun little extra. The rest is solid, but that's the bit I keep coming back for.

The fish and chips were great, and the house lager was a perfect match.

The app deal made it a steal for a family meal. Two adults and a kid, all fed for under £20. Portions were decent, too. Felt like a proper lunch out without the usual price tag.

Quick lunch spot. The owner is always around, which is nice. Food comes out fast and tastes fresh. Good for a quick bite when you're in a hurry.

The sangria really stood out with the rich Portuguese food. The red wine was decent for the price, but the sangria was the perfect match.

Bigger inside than it looks, never felt crowded even when busy. The moussaka was spot on, rich and layered. Chicken with lemon potatoes was good, though the potatoes could have been a bit crispier. Solid meal.

The grilled chicken shawarma was so flavorful, and I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted. A nice, healthy option.

Been here a few times now. It's a decent local spot, nothing flashy. The food's reliable and the staff are friendly. Prices are fair for a proper sit-down meal. Just a shame it's a bit of a trek from my place.

The food was fresh and the spices were spot on. The wine list had some nice options that paired well with the flavours.

Love the cosy vibe here! Popped in for a chocolate croissant with a friend after class. It was warm and flaky, just right. Gets pretty busy though, so snagging a table can be a bit of a mission. Still, a nice little spot for a catch-up.

Good selection of veggie and vegan dishes. The 'build your own' menu works well if you're a bit fussy.

Just popped in for a casual lunch. The place is clean and has a really nice, chatty vibe. Felt relaxed the whole time, perfect for a low-key breakfast or lunch.

The burgers here are solid. Four meat options to pick from, all cooked fresh. The homemade chilli jam is a standout. Good for a quick, tasty bite.

The steak and ale pie was spot on - the pastry was homemade and the meat just fell apart. Really nice staff, too.

1st visit and was impressed staff were wonderful we were looked after by Tirana and Freddie who welcomed us and were very attentive my partner plumped for the cocktail of the day to start the celebration of her birthday there was a happy birthday board with strawberries on the table which was a nice touch we strayed with the bread and olives the bread was amazing followed by a modern take on a prawn cocktail for a starter which was very nice I had the special main course of halibut on garlic mash mushrooms and leeks which was superbWe enjoyed a lovely evening and was sorry we had to leave as the disco was just starting up

Love this spot for a quick, hearty breakfast. The staff are genuinely nice and the place is spotless. I always grab their big breakfast roll before heading to work—it keeps me going till lunch.

Been coming here for ages, and it's always the same – in a good way. The crew's always busy, but you know you're getting a proper, reliable feed. That's what keeps me coming back.

Food was nice, and it's a quiet spot - perfect for catching up with friends without shouting.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the new vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu - the mushroom pasta was lovely. A very comfortable spot for a relaxed lunch.
