Been coming here for years, and the brisket is always the reason. It’s just so consistently tender and smoky. That’s the one thing I know I can count on every single visit.

The mains are generous, which I appreciate. The staff were friendly and made the whole evening feel effortless. It’s a lovely spot for a relaxed meal.

The Sunday roast here is huge, really fills you up. The roast potatoes are the best part, crispy outside and fluffy inside. Perfect for a quick, hearty lunch.

I booked a meal for 7 people online. Quick and simple way of making a booking. Lovely atmosphere and food was of a very good standard. We travelled from Walsall and several members of the party said they would be going back with their families. Service was great too with friendly staff. Lots of parking space is available.

Been here a few times on business in Lichfield. Solid choice for a quiet pint after work. The ale is consistently well-kept, which is the main thing for me. The outdoor seating is a bonus when the weather's decent. Does the job.

The staff are always friendly, and the place is spotless. But honestly, I'm here for the food. The lamb shank is what keeps me coming back. It's fall-off-the-bone tender, and the gravy has this deep, savoury flavour that's just right.

Had the giant Yorkshire pudding with roast chicken for lunch. The pudding was huge, crispy on the outside and soft inside. Even the parsnips were good, and I'm not usually a fan.

I requested a romantic table so that I could propose to my girlfriend. We were give an area on our own, couldn't be better. She said yes.The food was excellent and the waitress was lovely. Thanks for helping make our evening one to remember.

This place is a proper find! The chicken tandoori was so good – really smoky and tender, with that perfect char from the clay oven. The biryani was packed with flavour too. Will definitely be back for more.

Loved the vibe here! It's in this old banking hall, and the fountain in the middle is such a nice, chill detail. Made the whole dinner feel a bit different.

The portions here are huge, honestly. My plate was piled high and it looked so nice on that lovely blue dish. For what you pay, it's a solid deal.

Been to Taohua a few times now, the Yuk Sung and Chicken Satay starters are always generous. Good portions for the price, you definitely won't leave hungry. Had another solid meal there last week.

Lovely little village cafe. The carrot cake was really nice, and I liked the Bakewell sponge too. The whole place just feels cosy, with those old wooden tables and big windows. Perfect for a quiet afternoon.

Dylan our waiter was a legend! Made my mate's birthday feel proper special, so thoughtful. Food came out super quick too. Honestly, the service just made the whole night.

Food's always solid, menu rotates nicely. Joe remembered my usual wine preference, which was a nice touch. The Malbec they suggested last time paired really well with the steak. Portions felt a bit smaller than my last visit, though.

Been coming here for years, and the Sunday roast is usually solid. This time though, the beef was a bit tough and the Yorkies were a little soggy. Hope it's just a one-off.
