Owner's super nice. Chatted with us for a bit, made us feel right at home. That kind of personal touch is rare.

The curry was really good, flavourful and comforting. But the place itself felt a bit... flat? The lighting was a bit harsh, just missing that cosy warmth I was hoping for.

Service is always friendly and efficient. The team clearly takes pride in their work, which makes for a pleasant visit.

Came for a special dinner. The curries were thick and flavourful, and the naan was soft. Portions were decent for the price, which was a relief. The staff were friendly too.

The fish cakes were a solid choice. Made with local ingredients, you can tell it's homemade. Gets packed at lunch though, had to wait a bit for a table. Good for a quick bite if you time it right.

We were a group of eight and the staff was so calm and organised. It made the whole evening feel relaxed. The desserts were a lovely finish, especially the chocolate torte.

Booked ahead and glad we did, it was packed. The Guinness is top notch, one of the best pints around.

Love the vibe here for a catch-up with mates. The jerk chicken was spot on, and the 2-4-1 cocktails were a win. Our server Beth was lovely, really added to the friendly feel. A solid spot for a relaxed evening.

The staff were really attentive, especially Harpreet. They kept checking in without being overbearing, which made the whole evening run smoothly.

Food was well-prepared and came out quickly. The mash was particularly good. Staff were attentive.

Ordering on the app is a breeze. The unlimited drinks are perfect for a hot day, and my food was ready right when I said it would be.

The staff member named Jake was really helpful with my special diet request. He took the time to explain which ingredients were in each dish and suggested a great alternative. It's nice when they pay attention to details like that.

The battered chips were spot on, really crispy. The curry sauce had a nice kick. I paired them with a local lager, which cut through the richness perfectly. Service was friendly and quick, no fuss. A solid choice for a casual bite.

Great to see a solid vegan and vegetarian menu here. Makes it so much easier when you're out with a group. The lentil shepherd's pie was hearty and well-seasoned.

Service was spot on. Friendly, knew the menu well, and just the right amount of attentive. They explained the dishes without hovering, which was nice.

The upstairs dining room was a nice, quiet escape from the bar downstairs. The wine list had some good options to pair with our meal.

The gluten-free bread here is honestly next level. So fluffy and warm, it's hard to believe it's free from. Really appreciate the thought put into the coeliac options.

The menu's full of dishes I've never seen anywhere else. It's fun to try something new. Portions are generous for the price, which I appreciate. The grilled octopus starter was a standout.

Anthony and Tilly were brilliant. So kind and patient with our big group, even when we were a bit chaotic. Really made a difference.

FANTASTIC FOOD! Service, friend, professional staff. Been there various times & that’s why we keep going back. Keep up the excellent work Chilli Banana! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Really friendly service here, everyone was so welcoming. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, made for a good evening out. Food was tasty, especially the pasta dish we tried.

Good spot for a sunny day, plenty of outdoor seating. The new cake display and ice cream bar are a solid addition. Grabbed a coffee and a slice of lemon drizzle cake there last week. It hit the spot.

The paneer dosa was great, but the best part was the cosy, quiet corner table. Perfect for a solo meal.

Been coming here for years. The portions are always huge, you definitely won't leave hungry. Menu's got loads to pick from, which is nice. It's just solid, reliable food for the price.

The lamb was very tender, cooked nicely. The place itself is spotless, which is always a plus. A solid meal overall.

Came for the set lunch menu, which is a solid deal for the area. Portions were generous, especially the main course. It was quiet on a weekday, which was nice. The service was efficient.
