Been coming here for years. Sid’s always behind the bar, same friendly chat. That’s what keeps me coming back—just a reliable, good spot.

The burger was spot on, juicy and cooked just right. Paired it with a local craft lager that cut through the richness nicely. Service was warm and genuine. The pasta dish, however, felt a bit underwhelming compared to everything else.

Service was spot on. They handled our group's dietary needs without any fuss, really attentive. Makes a difference when you're out for a meal.

Popped in a few times while I was around. The smaller plates were perfect for trying more things. Kids had a blast in the play corner too.

Been coming here for years. The fireplace is lovely, especially in winter. Had the charcuterie board again last night - still the best in the area. Good, honest food.

The roast was generous, and I really appreciated the fresh, crisp vegetables. The cauliflower cheese was a nice touch, but the Yorkshire pudding could have been a bit lighter. A good, hearty meal after a long walk.

The lunch deal is a good option. I had the grilled salmon with a side salad. The salmon was cooked just right, and the greens in the salad were really fresh. A solid choice for a healthy midday meal.

Great selection of ales, perfect for a casual pint.

The roast beef at the carvery was spot on. Perfectly pink in the middle, and the gravy had a proper depth to it. The Yorkshire pudding was light and crispy. That's what I come for.

The grilled octopus was spot on. Tender, with a nice char, and the lemon-herb dressing was sharp without being overpowering. That's the kind of simple, well-executed dish I come back for.

The team here is super friendly, especially with dogs. They squeezed in our group without a fuss and kept checking we were all settled. My pup got a water bowl and a pat, which was a nice touch.

Six of us spent New Year’s Eve having a truly delicious meal in a really relaxed atmosphere. Matt our server was great and made sure we had everything we needed. A big shout out to the barman - the pineapple spritz was a delight! When we had finished our meal we moved into the bar area and saw in the New Year with some live music (excellent guitarist!). Make this your choice for next New Year - we will certainly be back. Thanks to all at The Mill!

The fish and chips were lovely, the batter was so light and crispy. But the real star was the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. You could tell it was made with really fresh, quality ingredients. A nice, simple finish to the meal.

Been coming here for years. Mark and Holly always make the private room feel so relaxed, which is why we keep booking it.

I was impressed with the variety on the menu, catering to different diets. The steak I had was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing!

Grabbed a quick burger before a show in The Lanes. Solid choice for speed. The patty was juicy and the bun held up well. Got my order in under 10 minutes, which was perfect. Prices are fair for the area. Would stop by again when I'm in a rush.

Stopped by for lunch. The bread was fresh and the steak tasted like it came from a local farm. You can really tell they use good ingredients.

As a meat lover, I was genuinely impressed by their veggie options. The beetroot burger had a nice earthy flavour, and the halloumi one was perfectly salty. Paired it with a local craft lager that cut through the richness nicely. A solid choice even for us carnivores.

Came for drinks, stayed for the food. Really appreciated how fresh and vibrant the ingredients were in the salad.

The mutton curry was spot on, and the pig cheek tacos had real depth. A friend from Trinidad confirmed the authenticity. The bar's rum selection is impressive, and they suggested a neat pairing for the curry that worked beautifully. Staff were genuinely warm, made it a fun night out.

Been coming here for years. George at the bar always remembers my usual. That's why I keep coming back.

Loved the cocktail class with Agatha! She was so patient and kept our glasses full. Perfect for a fun night out with friends.

Great spot for a relaxed evening. The lighting and music are spot on. I was impressed by their wine list - found a lovely Spanish red that paired beautifully with the lamb. A bit of a wait for a table, but worth it for that cosy corner booth.

Been here a few times for an early drink. Service is solid, they know what they're doing. Prices are fair for what you get. Good spot to ease into the night.

Took the family here for a birthday dinner. They handled our group, including a wheelchair, so smoothly. Service was spot-on all evening—really appreciated that. The lamb shank was cooked just right, fell off the bone.

Solid local pub. Good for families. Had a decent burger, fries were crisp. Staff were nice. Beer selection's alright. Just a pleasant spot for a casual pint.

Love this place for its welcoming vibe. The staff are so friendly and the crowd is always a good mix. Had a really fun night chatting with people at the bar. Just a proper, relaxed pub.

Cosy pub with the fire going, perfect for a chilled catch-up with friends. Staff were lovely, made us feel right at home. Just a bit of a wait for our table on a Friday night, but worth it for the vibe.

They were so helpful with our booking, and the photo booth was a nice touch. Made everything stress-free.

The Sunday roast is generous, and the pork crackling was spot on. What stood out for me was how comfortable the chairs were – you could really settle in and enjoy the meal without feeling rushed. A nice, relaxed spot for a weekend lunch.
