The fish and chips were spot on - lovely and crispy. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff were really friendly. My only small note is that the seating was a bit snug for a longer meal, but it was still a nice, easy lunch.

I had a fantastic meal with my friends, and the staff were incredibly attentive. The skewers I ordered were cooked to perfection!

Came with a group that had all sorts of dietary needs. The menu had clear labels, which was a lifesaver. Everyone got a proper, filling meal. Honestly, that's rare. We liked it so much we went back later that week.

A nice pub in central Hove. Came in for a quiet lunch and found it very comfortable. The booths are spacious and the staff are friendly without being overbearing. The fish and chips were just right for a midday meal. It’s a good spot if you want a relaxed bite.

Been coming here for years, and their rotating tap list is the main reason. The London Black stout is a regular favourite, goes down a treat with the Sunday roast. Always something new to try, keeps it interesting.

Lovely old pub, proper fireplace. So nice to be able to hear your friends talk. The steak and ale pie was spot on, really good pastry. Prices are a bit steep, but the quality is there.

Proper rocker's pub with a great blues and rock soundtrack. The crowd's always friendly, feels like a real Brighton spot.

The pulled beef tacos were really fresh. The ingredients tasted high quality and the spice level was just right for me.

The veggie Thai food was so good! Staff were really nice and suggested a Sicilian organic red to go with it. Perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends.

Came for the Sunday roast. The meat was cooked just right, and they weren't stingy with the gravy. Really hit the spot on a grey afternoon.

Been coming here for years for the Sunday roast. It's always busy, so book ahead. Had the beef this time, cooked just right, and the portions are huge. Got a table by the fire, which was nice on a cold day. The dog was welcome too.

Been coming here for years. Even when it's packed, the staff never seem flustered. They still manage to check in, refill your water, and keep things moving smoothly. That's the main reason I keep coming back.

This place has changed so much! Came for the Alberta's x Windmill collab. The wings were spot on, crispy and that sauce was just right. Happy hour oysters were a nice touch too.

Rob was super helpful when we ordered. The fried chicken and padron peppers were tasty and good value.

The front garden is a total sun trap. Grabbed a pint out there on a sunny afternoon and it was just the spot. Could've sat for hours. Nice little escape.

The house-brewed pale ale here is the standout. It’s got a really crisp, hoppy bite that cuts through, not too heavy. Perfect with the salted nuts they put out. The stout was a bit too sweet for my taste, though.

The fish was fresh, no doubt. But for the price, the portion felt a bit small. The lemon soufflé was nice, though.

The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of fresh fruit and options. They were a bit slow to refill the hot items, though.

Been coming here for decades, and the new games area is a proper upgrade. Smart dartboards and pool tables, plus loads of screens for the match.

Walked in without a booking and they found us a table straight away. Our server Joeli was really patient with all our questions about the menu. The food was spot on and honestly, for the quality, the prices felt fair. Good portion sizes too.

Great spot for a quick lunch. The outdoor garden is perfect on sunny days, and they've got heaters for when it cools down.

This place is a regular for me now. The staff are so friendly, and Jack in particular always remembers my usual order. The food is consistently tasty and the prices are very fair. A really comfortable spot to unwind.

Lovely old building, feels very spacious. Just a heads up that getting a table for a bigger group at busy times might be a bit of a wait.

The Sunday roast is a real treat. The dining room has a lovely, relaxed vibe that makes it easy to unwind.

The ingredients in their pad thai tasted really fresh, which is so important to me. A solid choice for a healthy takeaway.

I haven't been to the Fishers Pond so this was a trip back in time. The setting is still as I remember, obviously the staff and menu wasn't going to be the same but I wasn't disappointed, the menu provides a variety of dishes and the roast which we chose was probably one of the best i have had. As for the staff, friendly and efficient, so big 10/10 to all!

Great spot by the seafront. Drinks are cheap and they've got a massive selection.

Tried the Sunday roast for the first time. That beef just fell apart, honestly. The spot by the water was lovely for a lazy afternoon, lots of space outside.

Felicity was an outstanding hostess during our visit! The service was fast and friendly, making our brunch enjoyable. I would definitely come back for more!

The Sunday roast is solid - good portion, tender meat, proper gravy. Had a local ale with it. Service was efficient, got us in and out in a reasonable time for a Sunday.
