Live music nights are a nice change from the usual chains. The vibe here has a lot of character.

The woodland setting is peaceful, but honestly I'm here for the food. The venison pie was the standout - rich, tender meat in a flaky pastry. That's what I'll remember.

The birthday dessert was a lovely surprise, and the staff sang along too. Made the evening feel really special.

Came for a quick lunch. Staff were really nice, even gave a card and a chocolate. Place was quiet and peaceful, which was a nice break. Food came out fast, perfect for a short break.

Lots of veggie and vegan choices here, which I really appreciate. The waiter suggested the roasted cauliflower starter – it was so fresh and flavourful. The portion was a touch small for the price, but the ingredients tasted really high quality.

Lovely fresh bread on the sandwiches, and the coffee is proper. The team here are really nice, too.

The mixed roast trio is a decent size for the price. The Yorkshire puddings are proper homemade ones, which is a nice touch.

Always a solid choice for a quick bite. Valentina was super efficient and friendly, got my order out fast. The food's consistently good, no surprises. Perfect for when you're in a rush.

Perfect for a casual work lunch! Our server Star was so lovely and made sure our drinks were always topped up. The lunch deal with unlimited coffee and soft drinks is a steal. We ended up staying for ages just chatting.

Breakfast was spot on. The eggs were just right, bacon crispy, and the toast was fresh. Quick service too. A solid way to start the day.

Weekend nights are a vibe here. They had a DJ spinning and the crowd was really into it. It's a good spot if you're looking for that kind of energy. Not too loud to talk, which is a plus.

The gluten-free pies are the main event here. They've got the texture spot on, not crumbly at all. Even the mash and gravy are safe for coeliacs. It's rare to find a place where you can order almost everything on the menu.

Lovely little pub tucked away just off the High Street. A proper escape from the crowds. The staff were so friendly, really made us feel welcome. My fish and chips were spot on, crispy batter and proper chunky chips. Just what we needed.

Been here a few times. The grilled veg is solid - charred nicely, not soggy. Ice cream to finish is a good call. Simple, does what it says.

Lovely spot for a first-time cream tea. The scones were still warm and came with generous clotted cream. Sat in the little garden out back, very peaceful.

The coffee's really good. Staff are super friendly, always happy to help.

The large pho is massive! Perfect for sharing with a mate after a long day. We were both stuffed. The cash discount is a nice touch, made it even better for a casual catch-up.

Breakfast for four. The local ingredients really stood out, especially the homemade bread. Toasted just right, you could taste the freshness. Staff were lovely.

Been coming here for years, and their consistency is what keeps me coming back. Tried the Christmas menu this time, and the food was just as good as always. The staff really stood out when a friend got sick - the manageress handled everything with the ambulance, even made a private space for us. The area manager called to check in the next day. That kind of care is rare.

I really liked the cardamom and pistachio bun, it was a nice change from the usual pastries. The seating was comfortable, which made for a relaxed morning.

Great spot to cool down on a hot day. Had a smoothie and a slice of cake. My dog was welcome and seemed happy. Quick, easy, and comfy. Just what I needed.

Nice spot by the beach, very relaxed. The staff were friendly and service was quick. We had a decent lunch here. The fish tacos were pretty good, though the portion was a bit on the small side.

A really nice spot for a coffee or a meal near the Common. I popped in for lunch and found the service to be very friendly and unhurried, which was lovely. The seats by the window are quite comfortable.
