Really friendly staff, service was quick. They were on top of things, noticed we needed water refills without us asking. Made the whole lunch feel relaxed and easy.

Classic cod and haddock, both fresh. Apple pie and custard to finish. Mark our waiter was lovely. Decent value these days.

Been coming here for years, and the food's always reliably good. Everything's fresh and hot when it hits the table. That's the main thing for me at a place like this.

Nice spot for a late breakfast in Petersfield. Full English was solid, eggs cooked just right. They switch to lunch menu around 11:30, so got in just in time. Sat outside with a coffee watching the street. Simple and does the job.

Popped in for a classic English breakfast. The bacon was crispy, eggs just right. Simple, no fuss, and a big mug of tea. Hit the spot.

The hot chocolate was pretty good, came with two of their own chocolates. Cake seemed homemade, which was nice. Staff were friendly. Just a bit pricey for what it is.

The vegan deli sandwich is really good, and the coffee is tasty. The menu is small, but that's fine for a quick lunch. I do wish there were a few more comfortable seating options inside, though.

A really nice spot to unwind. The staff were lovely and made me feel so welcome. It's the kind of place where you can just relax with a book and not feel rushed at all. Very comfortable.

Sweet chilli chicken was decent. Nice crispy bits and the sauce had a good kick. Rice was sticky, just how I like it. Could've been a bit hotter, but it hit the spot.

Cool spot on Winchester High Street. The cheese straw was spot on - warm, flaky, and just the right amount of sharp. My mate's sausage roll looked proper good too. Decent prices.

The iced coffee is the star here. Strong, not too sweet, and the ice doesn't water it down. Pancakes are fluffy, but the coffee is what I come for.

Their coffee machine is the real deal. I had a flat white this morning and it was just right - strong but not bitter. A solid start to the day.

Popped in for lunch and got the savoury tart with potato and carrot salads. It was really tasty, just like I remember. Prices for eating in are still pretty decent.

The vibe here is spot on for a catch-up with mates. Cocktails were fab, and the portions are huge - we ended up sharing a couple of plates. Good spot for a group.

Busy Friday night and the staff still kept things moving smoothly. Good service when it's packed.

Busy spot, had to wait a bit. Got the smashed burger for lunch though, and honestly, it's up there with the best. Juicy, messy in the right way. Wouldn't mind the wait again for that.

Lovely welcome when I stopped by for a drink. The staff were very friendly and even added some fresh fruit to my cocktail.

The milkshake was thick and creamy, a perfect match for the rich ice cream. Service was friendly and quick, even during the lunch rush. Just a solid, classic combo done right.

The breakfast wrap is really good. Comes out steaming hot, packed with sausage, egg, and cheese. The hash brown inside is a nice touch. One of the better ones I've had.

Just a heads up, they only take cash. Had to run to the ATM down the street before grabbing my lunch. A bit of a hassle when you're in a hurry.

The cakes and snacks here are a real treat. I appreciate that they have some lighter options, and the fruit on the scones tasted genuinely fresh. A nice spot for a mindful afternoon break.

Came across this vegetarian cafe while visiting. The walk was fine, and the food was pretty good – simple and decently priced. We shared a few dishes, which was nice.

Nice that they have free milk alternatives. My oat milk latte was just right, not watery like some places. It’s a small thing, but it shows they’re paying attention.

A proper greasy spoon, the menu's huge and prices are fair. The Full English is a bargain and hits the spot. Had a decent cup of builder's tea with it, which is exactly what you want in a place like this. Solid.
