Stopped by for a beer and some fries — the frikandel was solid, exactly what I needed. Outdoor seating was nice, not too crowded when I was there. Only thing: cash only, so make sure you're prepared. Fine for a casual stop, nothing fancy.

WOW if you are looking for a traditional German food , this is the place, the service the food wonderful , beautiful

Prices are fair for the area, which is rare. Got a beer and just chilled for a while. Crowd’s a bit older but that’s fine with me.

Ordered the paneer matter and tandoori roti. Honestly, the portion was big enough that I couldn’t finish it. €43 for two meals plus drinks and a side felt fair for what you get. Service was quick too. Only thing is the place got a bit loud by the time we left, but that didn’t bother me much.

Lovely spot right in the middle of Cologne. The courtyard is stunning, and my Negroni was spot on. Food was solid too, though service got a bit stretched later in the evening.

The food was good and the beer garden is lovely. Service got a bit slow when it got busy, but we weren't in a hurry. Would sit outside again.

Chicken skewers came out juicy, still sizzling on the hot stone plate. That part was solid. Baklava was decent, nutty and fresh, but 8€ for four small pieces feels steep. Mains around 21€, so it adds up quickly. Fine for a sit-down meal, not somewhere I'd go regularly. Service was efficient, no complaints there.

Solid Kölsch right by the Dom. Nothing fancy, but the beer was ice cold and hit the spot. Food's basic but fine. Good spot if you want a quick, no-fuss drink.

The carbonara here really is something else. I’m not usually one to order pasta out, but this was creamy without being heavy. Sat near the window, and the chair was actually comfortable, which I notice more and more these days. Staff let me take my time with the menu. Cozy little spot, nothing fancy, but I left feeling properly looked after.

Nice wine selection, especially the German ones. Small plates are tasty but portions definitely shrank since last time.

The sushi here is honestly better than most all-you-can-eat places in Cologne. We went with a group of friends and kept ordering the salmon nigiri, it was fresh and didn't taste like it had been sitting out. Menu is a bit limited though, no takoyaki which was a bummer. Staff were fine, not super friendly but they came when we waved them over. Good enough for a casual hangout 😊

The gyros with Gouda was a nice twist—never had that combo before. White wine by the glass went down easy, paired well with the lamb. Place was packed but we got our food quick, no hanging around. Portions are solid, left full. Maybe not the most refined spot, but it hit the spot for a casual dinner.

Cash only and a bit of a wait at the bar, but honestly the vibe made it worth it. Great drink list too. Perfect spot for a casual catch-up with friends. 🍸

The samosa chaat was solid—crunchy, tangy, exactly what I needed. Simple place, nothing fancy, but the food does the talking. Besan burfi for dessert hit the spot too.

Stopped by for dinner on a busy Friday. The tagliatelle was properly cooked, sauce had real depth. Staff stayed friendly even when the place got loud and packed. Just wish they'd space the tables a bit more, felt a little cramped. Solid spot if you're in the area and don't mind the chaos.

Decent traditional German food with a view of the Rhine. Kölsch was fresh, prices fair. Service a bit inconsistent, but we had a pretty good meal. Nothing fancy, just solid.

Solid Balkan food, big portions for the price. Service was quick too. Decor's a bit dated, kinda old-school pub, but it works. Just bring cash, they don't take cards.

Stopped by for a quick bite. The Kölsch was ice cold, exactly what I needed. Food's solid, typical hearty stuff. Service is brisk, not unfriendly, just very Cologne. Place was jam-packed, but that adds to the vibe. Just don't expect a quiet, slow meal here.

The steak was really good, tomato soup as a starter worked well too. Only thing that threw me off was the coffee—came with whipped cream instead of milk foam, which was a bit odd. I'd probably skip that and grab coffee somewhere else after. Still a nice spot for a casual catch-up with friends though 🙂

The pasta was properly al dente, not mushy like so many places. The tiramisu felt homemade, creamy and not too sweet. Nice little spot to just sit and take your time. Only thing, the room got a bit warm by the end. Still, I left satisfied.

Came here on a busy Saturday and waited longer than I’d like for our order. Staff stayed polite though, and the food honestly made up for it. Had the schnitzel—crispy, hot, exactly what I needed. Not perfect, but I’d sit through the wait again.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and grabbed the carbonara. Big portion, creamy egg yolk, crispy bacon bits. Solid comfort food. Took a bit to get my order but whatever, it was worth the wait. Pasta lovers won't be disappointed.

Lunch buffet for €7.95. Chole and chicken curry were both solid, decent spice level. Chutneys had good variety. Fine if you need a quick, filling meal in the area. Nothing fancy, but the price is right.

The schnitzel was solid—crispy, not greasy, and the portion felt right for the price. I grabbed the apple strudel after and it hit the spot, warm with just enough cinnamon. Nothing fancy about the place, but it does the job. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Beer was 2.50 and solid. The older blonde lady serving us was straight to the point, made us feel welcome even with our basic German. Food was cheap and tasty.

Pasta was the highlight here. Had the tagliatelle and it was properly cooked, decent portion too. Pizza my friend got was just okay, nothing special. Service took a while even though it wasn't busy. Place itself is quiet though, easy to have a conversation. Fine for a casual dinner if you stick to the pasta.

The goulash here is solid. Beef was tender, broth had a nice kick. They even refilled the sauce for free. Simple menu, but they do it right.

The fish here is really fresh, and they have a nice variety to choose from. It’s a small, no-frills kind of place, which I actually like. The seating is pretty basic, but I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. Just a solid, dependable sushi spot in Cologne. I’d come back when I want a simple, good meal without any fuss.
