Came here with a few friends and honestly the Kölsch just kept flowing until we put our coasters on the glasses 😄 Staff was quick and super chill about it. Place is lively, very traditional, not too touristy. Exactly what I wanted for a relaxed evening out. Maybe a bit loud if you want deep conversation, but that’s on us.

Came here for a private event and honestly didn’t expect much. But the food surprised me. The sunset view from the terrace is something else. We stayed way longer than planned just watching the sky change colors. Only downside was the service got a bit slow when it got busy. Still, I’d come back for that view alone. 🌅

Great Kölsch and solid hearty food. The old building has so much charm. Only thing is downstairs gets super loud, try to grab a table upstairs if you can. Nice spot for hanging with friends 👍

Small menu but everything we had was solid. The Sunday brunch hit the spot, nothing fancy but dependable. Daily specials keep it interesting enough to come back.

The pork knuckle was huge, really crispy on the outside. We shared one between two and still had leftovers. Place was packed even on a Tuesday night, which says something. I mostly noticed how fresh the sides were, the sauerkraut had a nice tang to it. Service was quick despite the crowd. Maybe a bit loud for my taste, but fine.

The mushroom omelette was okay, but a bit dry and small for what you pay. Cappuccino was fine though. Friendly staff, decent spot if you're nearby.

The interior is really something—like a Wes Anderson version of a writer's lodge. Lots of seating, easy to hang out. Good spot if you're in the area.

The schnitzel was solid—crispy, not greasy, and big enough to skip dinner later. A decent Riesling helped cut through it nicely. Staff didn't rush us, even with the place full.

Food's decent, service friendly, but prices are steep for the portions. Typical busy brauhaus vibe, just smoky when crowded.

The sauerbraten was solid, venison too. Kids crushed their schnitzel without complaints. Service dragged a bit, place was packed. But honestly, the food saved it. Quick bite if you're in the area and don't mind waiting a little.

Found this place while wandering around Cologne. The wine list is really well picked, went well with my meal. Only downside: seating is a bit cramped. Prices are on the higher side but the food quality makes up for it.

The food was decent, but honestly I expected a bit more from a Michelin-starred place. Some plates just didn't have that special touch. Service was friendly though, just a little off at times. Our waiter was nice enough, but we had to ask twice for the bill. Comfortable seating, I'll give them that. Not sure I'd rush back, but it wasn't a bad evening either.

Been coming here for years now. The schnitzel stays consistently good and the Kölsch keeps flowing. Cash only still catches people off guard though.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the schnitzel and a beer — food came out fast, which I appreciated. Portion was solid for the price. Place has that classic beer hall vibe, a bit loud but that’s part of it. Staff kept my glass topped up until I put the coaster on top. Nice touch. Would grab a bite here again if I’m in the area.

The lighting in here is just right—warm but not dim, makes you want to linger over coffee. Had the salmon, fresh and flaky, no complaints. Service was there when needed, then disappeared. Exactly how I like it. Place had a nice hum of conversation, not deafening. Would sit by the window again.

Solid Kölsch and a proper old-school vibe. Place was packed with locals, which is always a good sign. Service was quick enough, even with the crowd.

Decent spot for a quick bite. Club sandwich was solid, they made it veggie without any fuss. Service was quick and friendly. Nothing fancy, but it does the job. Fine if you're in the area and don't want to overthink it.

The beef dish was spot on—cooked just right and the flavors worked well together. Modern spot, not your typical Brauhaus. Prices are a bit steep for what you get, but I'd come back for that pork again.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and grabbed the burger. Portion was solid for the price, honestly didn't expect that much for under 15 euros. Place had a decent mix of people, not too loud. Staff seemed fine, no complaints. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Solid traditional German food and beer. My sausages with mash and sauerkraut was a huge plate—could barely finish it. A wheat beer paired nicely with the mustard. Just a bit loud inside.

Decent pub grub, burgers are solid—some of the better ones I’ve had around here. Service dragged a bit on a busy evening, but nothing painful. Fine if you’re nearby and don’t want to overthink it.

The terrace view really is something else, and my cocktail was properly tasty. Only downside: the balcony got super smoky from other guests, so we couldn't chill there as long as I wanted. Still, a nice spot for a quick drink if you grab a good table.

Friendly staff, helped us find a spot with the stroller. Service was quick too. Nothing fancy but solid for a casual stop.

Stopped by for a beer and a quick bite. The house kolsch is solid, worth ordering again. Food comes from the butcher shop next door—fresh, simple, does the job. Nothing fancy, but that’s fine. Place has a good local vibe, easy to relax in. Service was straightforward, no complaints. Decent stop if you’re in the area and want something unpretentious.

The Kölsch was fresh and the food hit the spot. Coaster trick for getting another beer is a nice touch. Just wish the seats were a bit more comfortable.

Came here on a warm evening and grabbed a seat outside. Good mix of people, chill vibe. Food was okay, nothing crazy, but the setting did the heavy lifting. Service was a bit slow but I wasn't in a rush. Fine spot to just sit and let the evening pass.

Stumbled into this place with a few friends and honestly the pinball machines are the main draw. They’ve got a solid mix of old and new games, plus a local IPA on tap that hit the spot. It’s cozy, not too loud, so you can actually chat between rounds. Only thing is it’s a bit easy to lose track of time in there 😅
