Stopped by for happy hour and ended up staying for dinner. Staff was friendly and handled English fine, which helped. Beer was solid, burger really hit the spot. Nothing fancy, just a good casual spot to grab a bite and a drink. Maybe a little slow when it got busier, but I'd go back.

The bar inside the hotel has a really nice vibe. Drinks were creative and looked great. Staff was friendly but not hovering. I liked the seating, comfortable enough to just hang out for a while. Only thing, it got a bit loud later in the evening. Still, a solid spot for a quiet drink before heading out.

Decent Altbier and a pretty good vibe. Staff were friendly, service quick. Bit loud inside, but that's fine for a brewpub. Cash only, so come prepared.

The aioli alone is worth the visit—still thinking about it days later. Tapas were solid, service friendly. Would go back just for that sauce.

Cozy spot with a solid wine list. Staff actually knows their stuff and helped me pick something I wouldn’t have chosen myself. Prices run a bit high, but the glass quality made up for it. Seats by the window were comfy enough to stay for another round.

I ordered the schnitzel by accident—meant to get the bratwurst—and the waiter noticed my confusion right away. He swapped it out before I even asked. No awkwardness, just a quick fix. That kind of patience means a lot when you don't speak the language. Food was solid too, but the service really stood out.

Cozy little place with a solid wine list. Staff actually knows their stuff — told them I like dry reds and they nailed it. Would come back for that.

Stopped by on a Tuesday evening. Place was busy but not chaotic. Got a burger and a beer — burger was properly cooked, decent size. Prices are fair for what you get, especially considering the location. Outdoor seating is a plus when the weather cooperates. Service was efficient, no complaints. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something reliable.

Solid German beer and the schnitzel was decent. Place gets pretty loud inside but that's part of the charm I guess. Good spot if you want that traditional Brauhaus feel without the tourist trap vibe.

We sat outside on a warm evening and it was packed. I got the schnitzel, which was decent, but honestly the portion felt a bit small for the price. The Kölsch was good though, cold and fresh. Fine for a casual stop, but I wouldn't say it's a bargain.

Stopped by in the late afternoon, place was pretty chill. Got a coffee, sat around, no rush at all. Nice spot if you just wanna unwind for a bit. Nothing fancy, but it did the job.

Stopped by on a Tuesday evening—place was calm, easy to grab a seat. Guinness came out proper, creamy head and all. Staff were friendly without hovering. The old-school interior gives it a bit of character, feels like a pub that’s been around forever. Good spot if you just want a quiet pint and some space to chat.

Nice spot right in the Altstadt. Drinks were solid and the price felt fair for the area. Music was good too, not too loud to talk over. Would stop by again if I'm in the neighborhood.

Cozy spot, but pretty small. Good for a date or maybe four people max. Music was decent, not too loud to talk over. Fine for what it is.

Stopped here for lunch on a quiet square. Had the chicken curry — creamy, decent spice, rice was fluffy. Sat outside, which was nice. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

We stopped by for dinner and I really liked the Kutscheteller – cooked just right, the pepper sauce was tasty. House beer was decent too. Service was friendly, which I always appreciate. Only thing, it got a bit busy later on, but nothing to complain about really. Solid spot if you want traditional food without fuss.

The pork knuckle was the real deal. Crispy skin, tender inside, proper mustard on the side. That's what I came for. Portion size is generous for the price. Kitchen stops taking orders around 10, so don't show up late. I'd skip the sides next time and just get another beer with the main.

The baked potato was spot on, really fluffy inside. Service was friendly enough and didn't keep us waiting. Fine spot if you're nearby.

The paella was packed with seafood and cooked just right. Garlic mushrooms were a solid pick too. Service stayed on point the whole time. Easy spot to come back to.

Good mojitos, not too sweet, proper amount of mint. Place is chill, no loud music blasting so you can actually talk. Lighting is fine too. Came on a weekday evening, not crowded. Drinks took a bit but they were busy. Fine for a casual drink, nothing fancy.

Managed to get a table on a Sunday evening without booking. That was lucky. The food was decent, but honestly the vegetables stood out to me — fresh, not overcooked, actually tasted like something. Server was a young guy, friendly enough, checked in a couple times. Nothing fancy, but I'd go back for the greens.

Been coming here for years now, and the terrace never disappoints. Castle grounds are kept really nice, easy to spend a few hours just wandering. Stopped at the brasserie again this time—staff still friendly, menu's solid. Not the cheapest spot, but you pay for the setting. Always leave feeling like it was worth the drive out.

Came for the football, stayed for the buzz. Screens everywhere and the crowd was properly into it.

Loved the seasonal cocktail menu here — really creative stuff. Bartender nailed my request for something less sweet. Cash only caught me off guard, but honestly the drinks were worth it.

Stumbled into this place looking for something different in Wuppertal. Proper English pub feel, not trying too hard. The ale list is decent, got a few ciders you won't see elsewhere in town. Had the homemade curry, it did the job. Nothing fancy but honest food. Place was a bit quiet for a Saturday but that suited me fine.

Great cocktail list with some seriously creative presentations. Staff were friendly and even brought free water. Prices sting a bit, but you're paying for the experience. Worth checking out if you're into unusual drinks.

Came here on a game day and the place was buzzing. Landlady speaks really good English, which helped a lot. Beer was cold and solid, didn't try the wine though. Dogs are allowed inside, that's always a plus for me. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The vegan hazelnut flavor is really something special. Service stays friendly even when it's packed.

Great spot to grab an Altbier. Bartender was super friendly and knew a lot about the local spirits. Ended up staying way longer than planned.
