Came here for the DIY hot pot thing—you grab a bowl and load up whatever you want, pay by weight. Broth was solid, lots of fresh veg and tofu options. My bowl ended up way heavier than I planned, so the bill crept up. My fault though. Decent spot if you're hungry and don't mind the weighing game.

The food was tasty and portions generous, but the service really stood out—friendly without being pushy.

Stopped here before my train. Right outside Köln Hbf, you can see the Dom from the window. Coffee was solid, pastry fresh. Staff didn't rush me even though it was busy. Fine spot to kill half an hour.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and croissant. Pastry was solid, flaky, just right. Bread selection looked decent too. Place was busy but fine. Croissant alone makes it worth a stop.

The schnitzel was massive and really good, Kölsch ice cold. Cozy rustic place, service friendly. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Stopped by late near Heumarkt. Owner genuinely kind, even with a few loud guests around. Pizza was alright, nothing crazy. Then it started raining and they made sure we stayed dry — that little bit of care stood out. Rare to get that in such a touristy spot.
