The space is perfect for a big group breakfast. We all had room to spread out and chat comfortably.

Convenient spot right by the church and town centre. The beer garden out back is a real plus - spacious and pleasant when the weather's good. Makes for a straightforward, relaxed stop.

The roast potatoes were a new addition, and they were really good. Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. The apple pie with custard for dessert finished things off nicely.

Grabbed a quick ham, egg & chips for lunch. The ham was nicely thick-cut, eggs runny just right. The cafetière of Italian roast coffee went perfectly with it. Simple stuff, but they nailed it.

Nice spot for a pint. The underground layout with the glass roof is a cool feature. Had their IPA, which was crisp and well-kept. Table was clean, no sticky residue. A solid choice for a quiet afternoon drink.

The gluten-free fish and chips were spot on. They have a dedicated fryer, which is a huge plus. The batter stayed crispy the whole time, never got soggy. Really appreciated the staff's knowledge when I asked about cross-contamination.

Took the dog here for a quick lunch. The beer garden is clean and gets great sun, perfect for him. Staff were fine with him being around. Food was decent pub grub, nothing fancy. Good spot if you're out with the dog.

The gluten-free menu is solid. Staff knew their stuff when I asked about allergies.

Friendly staff and decent food selection. Portions are generous for the price.

Been a regular for ages. The food's always solid, no surprises. Service is quick, which I appreciate. But honestly, the portions feel a bit smaller than they used to be for the price. Still, it's reliable.

Been coming here for years. It’s just a solid, cozy local. Always feels the same, which is exactly why I keep coming back. The atmosphere is spot on for a quiet pint or catching the game. Never lets you down.

The view from the back terrace over the marina is the main draw here. Sat out there on a sunny afternoon with a pint, it's hard to beat. The old building itself has a bit of character too.

The balcony view over the river is lovely for a drink. I appreciated that their house lemonade tasted freshly squeezed, not from a bottle.

Been coming here for years with my dog. The fish and chips are always spot on - hot, crispy batter, proper chips. It's the one place I know I can rely on for that. Nice they let him inside too, makes it easy.

Had a lovely lunch with friends! The pasta was spot on, and the staff were so friendly. It's a great spot for a casual catch-up. The only thing was it got a bit loud when it filled up, but that's just the vibe.

Been coming here for years. Their Sunday roast is always solid, and the price is fair. Tried the chilli sauce broccoli tempura this time – wasn't expecting much, but it was really good. A nice little surprise.

Popped in for a late lunch. The Yorkshire pud and beef was huge, packed with meat. The real star was the rotating cask ale - a lovely malty one that cut through the rich gravy perfectly. Just a bit chilly by the window.

Love that they’re dog-friendly! The small plates are huge, honestly could make a meal out of them. Nice spot to stop by with the pup.

Nice spot for a quiet Sunday meal when other places are shut. The staff were really friendly and helpful with our little one.

The car park is huge, which was a relief. And having a proper ramp at the entrance meant my friend with the pushchair didn't have to struggle. It just makes everything so much easier from the get-go.

Really appreciate the variety of veggie and vegan dishes here. The food was tasty, service was friendly. A nice change of pace.

Georgia was a great server for the bottomless brunch. The food was solid and the value is there.

Decent Wetherspoons. Staff were friendly, drinks are cheap. Just what you need for a casual pint, nothing fancy. The place was a bit loud on a Friday night, but that's expected. Solid spot.

Stayed at the Premier Inn nearby, so popped in for breakfast and dinner. The steak was spot on, cooked just right. Breakfast was solid, a proper hearty start. Really handy for the location.

Food was spot on, and the team were lovely. You can tell the place runs like clockwork - everything just felt smooth. Honestly, it's hard to pick a fault.

Lovely old-world pub, really spacious inside. The decor is grand and gives a nice, relaxed feel. I appreciated how clean the loos were, it makes a difference when you're settling in for a meal.

Lovely breakfast here! The eggs were perfectly runny and the bacon crispy. Staff were super friendly and got it out fast while it was still piping hot. Really hit the spot.

Been coming here for years. The portions are still generous, and the real ale's decent. It's a solid local spot for a straightforward meal.

Been coming here for years. The braised steak pie is always spot on, proper gravy and the chips are decent. Menu's got enough choice without being fussy. Staff are quick and know their regulars.
