The staff were so friendly and attentive, which really made the evening relaxed. The atmosphere was lovely too. My only small note is that the seating is a bit close together, but the service more than made up for it.

Came for lunch with a few mates. The chicken tikka flatbread was a proper portion and so good! Beth was lovely, and the chef even popped out to say hello. Nice spot for a catch-up.

The pork with crispy crackling is a must-try. Generous portions and perfectly cooked for a Sunday lunch.

The team here is on point. Jamie and Dylan were brilliant, really knew their stuff. They suggested a fantastic local red to go with the steak, spot on pairing. Made the whole evening.

Been coming here for years, and the breakfast is always spot on. Big portions, cooked just right. Exactly what you need before heading out into the Dales. It's the main reason I keep coming back.

Stayed in a dog-friendly room with the family and our little one. Staff were really good with our son, made him feel at home. The room was fine, nothing fancy but clean. Decent spot for a night with the dog.

Nice chilled vibe here, staff were friendly and gave good drinks advice. Toilets were clean too.

Been coming here for years. Always get the tartare with that avocado whip. It’s just as good now as it was the first time. That’s what keeps me coming back.

Grace and Amy were brilliant. They knew exactly when to check in and when to give us space. The wine pairing suggestion from Grace was spot on, really complemented the main course. Made the evening.

Good spot for a business lunch. Staff were patient, even changed the TV to the match I wanted. Atmosphere is calm, makes it easy to talk. Service was responsive without being intrusive. Solid choice for this.

Interesting old building, well kept. Classic 'Spoons with that massive menu and loads of drinks. The staff were really friendly and knew their stuff, which helped a lot.

Had a great catch-up with friends here. The staff were so fun and friendly, really added to the vibe. Food was lovely, especially the pasta. A bit on the pricier side, but we all had a good time.

Nice spot for a quiet pint. Lyla behind the bar was lovely and quick. Just a heads up, the drinks are a bit on the pricey side for what you get.

The Sunday roast is what I come for. Massive portions, the beef was tender and the Yorkshire puddings were clearly homemade. Gravy had a good depth of flavour. It's a solid, no-fuss roast.

Booked for a weekend lunch, it was packed. The grilled salmon was the highlight for me – really fresh, and the portion of greens alongside was generous. Simple, honest cooking with good ingredients. Just what I was after.

Keagan provided excellent service during our bottomless brunch. The drinks were quick to arrive and delicious, making the celebration even more special.

Nice little pub, staff were super friendly and knew the menu inside out. I asked about a couple of the local ales and got a proper chat about them. Felt very welcome just popping in for a pint.

I had a great experience with the friendly staff and the excellent cocktail selection. The service was attentive, making it a perfect spot for a night out.

No. 4 of Bars in Newcastle upon Tyne

Been coming here for years. Their homemade chips are spot on every time, just how I like them. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, and they don't skimp on the portion. A solid choice.

The pub is in such a beautiful spot, right by the water. It felt really cosy inside, especially with a few dogs around. A nice, quiet pint on a Sunday afternoon.

Nice cosy spots to sit. A decent pub with a good range of drinks, reasonably priced. The wine list had a few pleasant surprises.

The food is lovely and very reasonably priced. I just really liked the vibe here. It’s a bit dark, but in a cosy way, with these nice wooden tables and soft lighting. Felt relaxed just sitting there with my pasta.

Stopped in for lunch with the family. The kids' meal was a good size, and we shared a couple of dishes. Service from Julie was efficient and helpful, which made handling a toddler much easier. Solid spot for a straightforward family meal.

Maddie was so on it with the refills at bottomless brunch. My mimosa never got close to empty, which is the whole point really. She was just really lovely and made the whole thing feel easy.

The portions here are huge for what you pay. I had the breakfast plate and it was more than enough to keep me going all day. Really good value for money.

Oasis is a lovely cosy pub with a friendly atmosphere. The staff are usually well-mannered and efficient, making it a nice place to relax.

Rooms are spotless and really comfortable. I appreciated the well-equipped space, it made the stay feel easy and pleasant.

Been coming here for years for their Sunday roast. The beef is always spot on, and that Yorkshire pudding is massive. The red cabbage is the real star though, wouldn't miss it.

Been here a few times. It's always buzzing, which I like. The staff are on it, really attentive. Food's solid, you can tell they use good ingredients. Yeah, it's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Been coming for the Monday quiz for months. Good vibe, not too serious. Staff are always sound.
