Nice little spot to duck in from the rain with the dog. Had the poached eggs and avocado. The yolk was runny just right, and the seasoning was spot on. Staff were friendly. Decent quick lunch.

The Red Lion offers an exceptional dining experience with attentive service from staff like Jack and Gracie, making every visit memorable.

Came here for a birthday dinner with a big group. The staff handled our table really well, didn't feel rushed at all. Made the whole thing smooth.

The refurbishment is a huge upgrade. Love the new layout and lighter decor, it just feels so much more open and inviting now. A much nicer spot to relax over a meal.

The fish and chips were spot on, crispy batter and all. Cameron at the bar really knows his stuff, suggested a local pale ale that cut through the richness perfectly. Made for a proper Friday night.

Solid carvery for a quick lunch. The roast beef was spot on today, still juicy and hot. Good selection of veg and gravy. Got in and out in under 30 mins. Just what you need.

The prawn special was delicious, but it was seriously spicy! Onion bhajis were huge and full of flavour. Good portion sizes for the price.

The owner is so chill, made our girls' night feel really special.

The mixed meat dish with lamb and pork was the highlight. The lamb was incredibly tender, falling apart easily, and the pork had a nice, subtle smokiness to it. The vegetables were fresh and plentiful, but honestly, the meat was the star. Just a really solid, flavourful plate.

Nice pub near the station. The Guinness is top-notch, and they've got some tasty veggie options on the menu too.

The Sunday roast is a proper treat. The potatoes were so good - really fluffy inside with that perfect crisp outside. The gravy was full of flavour too. A nice, hearty portion.

Fantastic food and great service. Highly recommend a visit. Can't believe how good it was. Can't fault them at all. Top marks all around.

Staff were so friendly and welcoming. They really made me feel at home as a visitor to the area. A lovely first impression.

Lovely country pub with a great selection of food and drink. You can seat inside or outside so this is good too. It would be good if the parking area would be bigger as we struggled to find a space. I would also wish that in the bathroom would be some nice fragrance.

We brother and sister enjoyed a lovely evening nice atmosphere the meals were superb Cullum are waiter was absolutely fantastic always looking after us, making sure everything was ok for us Cullum is a lovely guy. All 3 courses were beautifully cooked and the presentation of the meals were just fantastic. Thank you all so much cannot wait to come again.

The staff were so thoughtful, bringing colouring books to keep the kids busy. Made a big difference for our table.

Stumbled upon this place. Staff were really friendly and the food was good. Nice spot for a quick bite.

Been coming here for years with the family. They always handle our gatherings just right - last time they even sorted the birthday cake for us without any fuss. That's why we keep coming back.

Been coming here for years, and the pizza oven in the corner never gets old.

Nice local. The vegan options are a real plus - had the jackfruit burger last night and it was spot on. Staff are always friendly, quiz night's a laugh. Food's generally reliable, just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price.

As a regular, I really appreciate the loyalty app discounts. It's a nice little perk that makes coming back feel worthwhile. The points add up quickly too.

The burger was spot on, and their house red was a surprisingly good match. The onion rings were a bit greasy, though.

Pizza was tasty, service was quick. I liked watching them make it fresh in the open kitchen. Good spot for a casual bite.

Been coming here for years. Georgina always remembers us, makes it feel like a proper local spot. The service is just consistently good, never rushed. That's what keeps us coming back.

The portions are generous, and the food is consistently good. A solid choice for a reliable Indian meal without any fuss.
