The sharing platter is a decent choice. Good variety and generous portions, though it's a bit pricey.

The steak and ale pie was a solid choice, but honestly, the main thing for me was the space. It's got these high ceilings and big windows, so it never feels cramped even when it's busy. Just a nice, relaxed place to have a meal.

Been going here for years. Their Sunday roast is the real deal - the beef is always tender, and the roasties are spot on. Hard to beat locally.

First time trying their pizza and it was a real surprise. The crust had this perfect crisp, and the toppings were so fresh. Just what I needed after a long week.

I often used the Fox as a staging post between Essex and Hampshire. Now I live in Cambridgeshire, it was a perfect stop on the way to Heathrow! We were a party of four; the atmosphere is still as lovely ; the food exceptional; the service warm and attentive. Each member of my family party enjoyed it greatly, sending my street cred soaring for my knowledge of good places to dine!It is a lovely place which I am greatly pleased to know!

Great spot for a break when you're in the park. Easy walk to the museum and splash pad.

The cauliflower wings were a nice surprise, really flavourful. Appreciated how they handled my dietary request without any fuss.

I had a delightful meal with attentive service. The staff, especially Lucie, were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait to return!

The extra papadum with my takeaway was a lovely touch. Really appreciated that they use such fresh ingredients even for delivery.

Been coming here for years. The coffee's always solid, never a bad cup. Nice to sit outside when the weather's good.

Loved the roof terrace! Perfect for a sunny afternoon. The vibe up there is so relaxed, and they have a decent range of non-alcoholic drinks which was great for me. A really nice spot to just hang out.

Perfect for a quick lunch. The staff know their menu and gave me a spot-on recommendation for a fast, tasty bite. Got the grilled chicken wrap, came out in minutes. Exactly what I needed on a busy day.

Been coming here for years, and their sandwiches on fresh bread are always spot on. A nice change from the usual heavy stuff.

Staff were so kind to squeeze us in on a busy Sunday. The roast was a proper hearty portion for the price. But the best bit was the whole vibe - the lighting was just right, not too bright, and the wooden tables felt really solid. Made for a relaxed, cosy lunch.

The gluten-free bun was a game changer for me. It held up really well, not crumbly at all, and the burger itself was super juicy. Makes such a difference to have a proper option.

A comfortable spot, the steak was cooked just right. Service was attentive, they checked on our drinks without being intrusive. A nice, relaxed meal.

Been coming here for years and it's still our go-to for a catch-up. The dal makhani is so rich and smoky, and the garlic naan is just the best for sharing. Never disappoints.

The French onion soup is really nice, rich and flavourful. The sweetness and depth are just right. It’s a relaxed spot for a simple, comforting bowl.

Came on a Wednesday. My fishcake was lovely and fresh, really well made. The terrine had nice texture too. Could taste the quality ingredients. A pleasant, simple meal.

The beer garden is a lovely, quiet spot for a summer drink. A nice change from the busier places around.

Been back a few times since our first visit. The feta saganaki starter is a must – had it again last night. My dad’s T-bone was cooked just right, really generous portion too. A solid spot for a good meal.

Been coming here for years. The Sunday roast is always spot on, and for £16 you get a huge plate with all the trimmings. Honestly, it's enough for two meals sometimes. My go-to spot when I want a proper feed without breaking the bank.

Stayed overnight for a work trip. The room was lovely and the bed was super comfy, but I was a bit surprised by the room rate. For the price, I was expecting a bit more in terms of amenities. Still, got a decent sleep.

The staff here are so friendly and attentive, they really make you feel welcome. Even when the restaurant was quite busy, our server was patient and checked in on us just the right amount. It made for a very relaxed meal.

Always get takeaway from here, food's always spot on. Had a payment mix-up (got charged twice), but they sorted the refund right away when I called.

Been coming here for years, and I always appreciate how they plate the food. It's not just thrown on a dish. The little details, like that dry ice effect they do, show they still care about the experience. That consistency keeps me coming back.

Been here a few times. The desserts are massive, and they're actually good. Got the chocolate cake last night – could barely finish it. Place does get a bit chaotic when it's full, tables are close together. Still, solid spot for a sweet treat.

Went there for my sister-in-law's 70th Birthday, food excellent and staff were friendly and polite and catered to our every need. She and I thoroughly enjoyed it and would definately go again.

The lemon and yogurt cake was a standout. Moist, with a lovely tang from the yogurt and a sharp lemon glaze. You can tell it's homemade, not just a word on the menu. A proper slice, too.

The 'all you can eat' concept here is so fun for a group! You order course by course from a menu. We loved the mixed platter starter so much we got a second round before moving on. Perfect for a long, chatty dinner with friends.
