Just had the Thai curry at this village pub. It’s been done up nicely, but the curry was the thing – tasted exactly like the ones I had in Bangkok. Really took me back.

The roast was lovely, and their wine list had some nice pairings.

Dog-friendly, which is a plus. My pint was decent, but a bit pricey for what it was.

Been coming here for years. The portions are still generous and the food arrives quickly, even on busy nights.

Brought our cat along, and they were super welcoming. The portions are huge for the price, which is a nice surprise.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper Welsh pub, cosy and just right for a pint after a walk around the castle. Staff are always friendly, makes you feel welcome.

I was really impressed by how clean and tidy the toilets were here. It's a small thing, but it makes such a difference to how comfortable you feel during a meal. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, too.

Been coming here for years. Had the squeeze burger with the vegan bacon and cheese. Honestly, you wouldn't know it wasn't meat. Really tasty, one of the better burgers around here.

The fish portion is huge, and the batter is light and crispy. Good value for the price.

Solid ale selection. The beer garden has a nice view over the water. Grabbed a quick pint here on a sunny afternoon, exactly what I needed. Good spot.

The panini and arrabiatta pasta were spot on, really generous portions too. Just what we needed after a long walk. Service was quick, no fuss. A solid spot.

Lovely garden seating with a view of the bridge. Staff were really friendly, got our food out quickly. A solid spot for a casual lunch.

The burger was a treat after our hike. The house red paired nicely with it, though the service was a bit slow.

Came here after my usual spot was shut. Needed a quick bite. Fish and chips and the smash burger were solid. Burger sauce was good, fish batter crispy. Quick service, got my food fast. Around £16. Did the job.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast. The sausage sandwich was genuinely the best I've had. Pub itself is lovely, really cosy inside. Service was super friendly too.

Nice, quiet spot for a relaxing meal. The place is clean and has a good layout. Staff were helpful without hovering, which I always appreciate. A solid choice when you just want a peaceful evening out.

The lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone good, honestly. Had it with a side of mash and it was just a really solid, hearty meal. Portions are definitely generous, everything came out piping hot.

Right by the beach, so you get that lovely sea breeze while you eat. The tables are spaced nicely, not crammed in. It's just a relaxed spot for a casual lunch.

The banana blossom ‘fish’ was surprisingly good, crispy outside and flaky inside. The chips were perfect, proper chunky and golden. Mushy peas on point. A solid vegan option that actually feels like a treat.

The Sunday roast is the main thing. The beef was tender, and the roast potatoes had that perfect crispy edge. Good portion for the price. The lemon sponge for dessert was fine, a bit dry maybe.

Popped in for a pint, stayed for the pizza. The new owners have such a friendly vibe, chatting with everyone. The Elvis tribute was a fun touch!

Loved the croquettes here! They've got a Welsh twist that made them a fun little surprise. The rest of the tapas were solid, but those were the standout for me.

Stayed in a suite and the service was really attentive. But I did find the room service menu prices a bit steep for what you get. The portions on the club sandwich were quite small.

Lovely evening in the beer garden. It's so spacious and well-kept, really relaxing for a first visit. The outdoor area made the meal.

The Guinness is excellent, but I do wish they had a few more lighter or non-alcoholic options on the menu.
