Tried it on a whim. Food's genuinely homemade, you can tell. The vibe is relaxed, perfect for a long catch-up, not a quick stop. Prices are a bit all over the place though.

The decaf is a proper coffee, not just some weak flavoured milk. That’s what got me. Had it with their Oatly barista oat milk and it was actually rich. A solid find for a decent cup.

The staff are consistently kind and attentive, especially to my son. They always take the time to chat with him, which makes our visits very positive. It’s a simple thing, but it means a lot.

Stopped in for a change and got their hot chocolate. It was made with real dark chocolate, not too sweet. The staff were friendly. A nice little treat on a cold day.

Lunch stop. Pizza and calamari with Greek potatoes were solid. Quick and friendly service. Nice spot across from the museum.

Loved the quiet, cosy vibe here. The vegan cheese on their gluten-free sandwich was surprisingly good - not something you see often.

Stayed a few nights for work. The room was snug and comfortable, nice bedding. Breakfast was good, plenty of parking. The house red by the glass was surprisingly decent, a proper start to the day.

The staff were just so lovely. They noticed my water was low before I did, and checked in without being overbearing. That kind of attentive service is a real treat. Made the whole evening feel relaxed and easy.

Great beer garden out the back, really comes into its own on a sunny afternoon. Solid choice of local ales. Staff are a friendly bunch, which makes a difference. A proper local.

Owner's a really nice guy. Staff know their stuff too. Makes it a good spot for a quick lunch. Food comes out fast, which is what I need.

The wine list had some nice options for a Saturday lunch. Food was beautifully cooked and presented, made for a relaxed afternoon.

Lovely little spot. The flat white was just right - smooth and strong, exactly what I needed. Sat by the window for a good hour, watching people pass by. The vibe is cozy and a bit quirky. Coffee's the real star here.

The beef carvery was incredible, honestly. The owner and staff were so lovely and had a great sense of humour. They really went out of their way to make sure we were looked after.

The eggs Benedict were spot on, and the sourdough toast was just right. Perfect for a lazy morning by the sea.

Been coming here for years now. The coffee's always spot on, exactly how I like it. That's the main thing for me. Some places change their beans or the grind, but not here. It's reliable.

Really liked the cozy, traditional pub feel here. The quirky decor adds to the charm. It's a very welcoming spot for a relaxed meal. My only note is that some of the booths are a bit snug, but the friendly service more than makes up for it.

The flat white was the highlight. Smooth, strong, with a perfect microfoam that held its texture to the last sip. The beans had a nice chocolatey note. That's what I come for.

Had my son's first birthday in their function room. The staff were really on top of things, handled all the little details without us having to ask. Made for a relaxed afternoon for us parents.

The Sunday carvery was a nice, easy lunch. The Yorkshire puddings were huge! I liked the variety of vegetables. It was a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy a meal without any fuss.

Great little find for a casual lunch with mates. The food was tasty and didn't break the bank.

Love that they're dog-friendly! Had the avocado toast with a poached egg, and the coffee was spot on. Staff were really welcoming, made it feel like a cosy neighbourhood spot. Will definitely be back with my pup.

The avocado was fresh and the halloumi was nicely grilled. A decent breakfast on the sourdough toast. A bit pricey for what it was, but a fine start to the day.

Been coming here for years, and the Moroccan shakshuka is the reason. It's always spot on—the eggs just right, the sauce rich and smoky. That consistency keeps me coming back. A proper cozy spot to enjoy it with the coast view.

Been here a few times for a quick business lunch. The food is reliable and they have a solid choice of local beers and wines by the glass. Service is efficient. Prices are fair for the area.

The food is always solid, but I really like the vibe here. It’s got a nice, relaxed feel—good lighting, comfy chairs, nothing too loud. Just a really pleasant place to have a meal.

Presentation is nice, portions are generous for the price. Everything tasted fresh. Good value for a quick business lunch.

Proper pub vibe, lovely landlady and friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere with good tunes. The beer garden out back is a nice spot, especially on a sunny afternoon. Just what you want from a local.

Nice view of the river. Solid veggie options. Had the mushroom risotto, decent portion. A bit pricey for what it is, but okay.
