Sam was our waiter and honestly, he made the night. Just the right amount of attentive, and actually funny. A good server makes such a difference.

Sunday roast for a quick bite. Pork and crackling spot on, massive Yorkshire puddings. Got my food in under 10 minutes, which is a win for me. 👍

The wine list had some nice options for a Saturday lunch. Food was beautifully cooked and presented, made for a relaxed afternoon.

We always get looked after so well , waiting staff are friendly and welcoming and efficient. The food we had was excellent and flavoursome . Complements to the chefs !

Cosy country pub with traditional aesthetic. Excellent service by welcoming staff. Outstanding food served promptly in generous portions. Friendly atmosphere among the patrons. Fantastic log fire lit during the winter. Highly recommend this pub for great food at a reasonable price, all served with a smile.

Coffee walnut cake was spot on. Rocky road too. All homemade. Good selection of cakes and scones.

The homemade scones were the standout. Served warm on a china plate, they had a perfect crumbly texture. The clotted cream was rich, and the strawberry jam tasted fresh, not overly sweet. The scone itself was light and buttery. A proper treat.

Good spot with sea views. Breakfast was decent and reasonably priced. The roof terrace is a bonus on a sunny day.

Love the family-run feel here. The chef came out to say hello to our table, which was such a nice touch. Made our girls' night feel extra cosy. The pasta was good, but that personal vibe is what I'll remember.

Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Just the right balance for a relaxed meal.

Sunday karaoke was a blast! The food's decent, but service can be a bit slow when they're short-staffed.

Booked the private area for a party. Lizzy and the team sorted everything out smoothly. The food from the chefs was good, and honestly, the cost for the whole setup felt very reasonable for what we got.

Ordered through Uber Eats and they were really nice about swapping my fried eggs for scrambled. The extra black pudding was the best bit. The whole thing just felt like a proper, comforting breakfast.

The pizza had a good crust, crispy but not tough. The tomato sauce was a bit sweet, which worked well with the salty pepperoni. Could have used a touch more basil, but the flavour was solid.

The Christmas specials were solid. The gingerbread latte had a nice spice, not too sweet. The mince pies were warm, flaky pastry. Good for a quick festive pick-me-up.

Lemon drizzle cake was spot on, and the gluten-free brownie was a nice touch. Staff were helpful. I did wish the wine list had a few more options by the glass to pair with the desserts, though.

Came back for a burger and chips after trying their breakfast bap. The place has this relaxed, lived-in feel—worn wooden floors, mismatched chairs, and big windows. Just a comfortable spot to unwind with a meal, nothing fancy.

Suttons Super Breakfast is my go-to when I'm in town. The produce is always fresh, cooked just right. The beans are properly hot, which is a nice touch. It's a reliable spot.

Been coming here for years. Their fish and chips are reliably good – the batter is crisp, the fish inside is always moist and fresh. It's a simple thing, but they get it right every time.

Wasn't expecting much, just grabbed a burger. The patty was actually fresh and juicy, not like the usual fast food. Chips were the highlight though, perfectly crispy. A solid lunch spot.

Great quick stop on the way to Cornwall. The biker cafe vibe is cool and the food came out fast. Decent spot for a bite.

Good spot for takeaway fish and chips on the harbour. Portions are generous for the price, and the batter is crispy without being greasy. My go-to for a quick, filling meal when I'm in the area.

Menu's got a good range, even vegan choices. Noticed the food's stepped up this summer – my veggie burger was actually juicy, not dry like before.

Loved the lamb here, so tender. And the local beer was a nice touch. It's a proper cosy spot for a roast, feels like a family-run place. Just book ahead, it gets busy.

A proper local pub, quiet and friendly. No kitchen, but you can bring in your own food. Their ale selection is decent - had a pint of their house bitter that went nicely with my fish and chips. Just the spot for a relaxed evening.

The sausage and onion quiche was the star here. Really generous slice, clearly just out of the oven. Flaky pastry and a nice, savoury filling. A solid choice for a quick lunch.
