Popped in for a quick solo lunch. Food came fast, which was key for me. The steak sandwich was hot, well-seasoned, and matched the menu description. Good portion for the price.

Proper old pub at the top of Cheap Street. Had a pint here, really liked the local vibe. Place is spotless and feels well-run. Just a solid, no-fuss spot.

Staff were nice. Food's good too, but you do wait a bit. They cook it fresh. 👍 Good tunes playing. Friendly spot.

Been coming here for years, it's our local. The fruit scones are always fresh and warm, just the right amount of crumble. They don't skimp on the jam and clotted cream either. A solid spot for a quiet cuppa.

Pasta was loaded with prawns, really flavourful. Everything came out hot, portions are generous. Just a solid meal.

Travelled a fair distance for this. The food came out quickly, which was perfect with our toddler. One of the better Indian meals we've had.

The pistachio ice cream was the best part for me. They serve it with a dollop of cream on top. The flavour is so rich and genuine, just like proper gelato you'd get in Italy. Really enjoyed it.

Loved the quiet, cosy vibe here. The vegan cheese on their gluten-free sandwich was surprisingly good - not something you see often.

The staff are consistently kind and attentive, especially to my son. They always take the time to chat with him, which makes our visits very positive. It’s a simple thing, but it means a lot.

Came here with my dog while travelling. They actually have a separate room for people with pets, which is a lifesaver. Means you can actually sit down and eat without worrying. The food was decent, but honestly, that dedicated space is the main reason I'd come back.

The steak was cooked just right, and the Eton Mess was lovely. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted, especially the berries in the dessert. The atmosphere in the pub was quite nice too.

Been coming here for years. The shortbread is consistently good, just like it always was.

The bartender was so nice, really made our little group feel welcome. Everyone working there seems genuinely friendly, which is nice when you're just catching up with friends.

The staff were so considerate about my dietary needs. They checked everything carefully and made me feel completely at ease. It's rare to have a meal out without any worry.

Been coming here for years. The roast beef on Sundays is always spot on, proper tender and flavourful. That's what keeps me coming back. Staff are friendly too.

The member pricing on the main courses is a solid perk. The ribeye was cooked exactly right, but the peppercorn sauce was a bit thin for my taste. Still, the meat itself was spot on.

As a coeliac, I really appreciated the care here. They have separate equipment for gluten-free prep, which is a huge relief. Felt safe ordering, and nearly everything on the menu was an option for me.

The caramelised onion on my panini was just right, not too sweet. The gentleman serving us was so polite, it added to the cozy feel of the place. A really nice lunch spot.

Great spot for a catch-up with mates. The sofas by the fire are so comfy for a proper chat. 🍻

Came in just before closing and they were so chill about it. Everything was cooked fresh, which you could really taste in the pasta. Nice to not feel rushed out the door.

The homemade scones were spot on. Really generous with the clotted cream. Just a lovely, simple cream tea.

Decent pub food. The crab and prawn spaghetti was pretty good, and the portions are generous for the price.

Great spot for a quick bite by the sea. Crab sandwich was fresh and tasty. Got it to go, service was fast. Outdoor tables looked clean. Perfect for a short lunch break.

Steak pie with veg and roasties. Big portion, tasted like proper home cooking. Good value for money, felt like a decent feed.

Popped in after a walk along Chesil Beach. The location is spot on, right by the promenade. Had the fish and chips. Portion was decent for the price, not stingy. A solid choice if you're after a proper meal without breaking the bank.

Lasagne was spot on, hot and hearty. Perfect for a quick lunch. English breakfast looked good too, might try that next time. Service was quick, in and out in under 30 mins.

Nice little pub tucked away from the main road. Tanya, the manager, was really welcoming – felt comfortable straight away. Had a decent pint and a pie, which was pretty good. Just a bit on the pricey side for what it is.

Solid Sunday roast. Gravy was spot on. Two courses for under £11. Good portions. Nice vibe for a Sunday.

Came for a late brunch with friends. The outdoor seating was perfect for a sunny Saturday, we stayed for ages just chatting. The fish options are a nice change from the usual. Good value for what you get.
