Popped in for a quick bite. The sausage, egg, and bacon baguette was stacked high, just the right kind of messy. A solid spot for a proper sandwich when you need it.

The hand-cut chips were the highlight for me. They had a lovely crispy outside and a soft, fluffy centre. You can tell they use fresh potatoes, which is so important. A really good example of a simple dish done well.

Goat curry was rich and tender, a solid intro to African food. Live music was a nice touch, cocktails were decent. Service was a bit slow on a busy Friday night.

The food is cooked fresh, which is nice. It's tasty and well-presented, though the ingredients are fairly standard.

Lovely family-run spot, very unpretentious. The decor is simple but spotless, which I appreciate. Had a really relaxed lunch here, the staff were so friendly and made sure I was comfortable. Just a nice, easy place for a quiet meal.

The caramel cheesecake was the highlight. Rich, dense filling with a proper biscuit base that wasn't too sweet. The lemon drizzle cake was good too, moist with a sharp icing. Latte was just lukewarm though, which was a letdown.

Nice spot for a pre-show bite near the BIC. The toasties and cake were good, and the staff were friendly even when it was busy.

Popped in for a late lunch. Ajay suggested the lamb curry, said it was a good call. He was right. Really hit the spot. Service was chill, no rush.

Came in late for the chicken curry. Staff were very kind, offered free ice cream while we waited. The curry was good, as were the chicken chunks I've had previously. Decent late-night option.

The grilled fish was the star for me. It was cooked perfectly, flaky and moist, with a lovely char on the skin. The freshness really came through. Just a bit pricey for the portion, but I'd order it again.

Been coming here for years, and Liam’s coffee and bacon roll is my go-to after a long walk. It’s always spot on – just what you need. The place feels like a proper local hub.

Stumbled in by chance. The steak was spot on, cooked exactly how I like it. Service was quick and polite, no fuss. Just a solid, straightforward meal.

Popped in for the cheesy chips during the rugby. The refurb has really warmed the place up. Mika, our waitress, was spot on—kept checking if we needed more sauces without being intrusive. Their house lager was a surprisingly good match for the greasy, cheesy goodness. Solid spot for the game.

Nice spot by the harbour. Perfect for a sunny day watching the boats. The fish and chips are always solid.

I’ve been stopping by for their recent specials. The almond croissant was lovely, but what really stands out is the coffee. It’s always at a good temperature, never tastes burnt. You can tell they use fresh beans.

Been coming here on our annual trip for ages. It's the spot we all look forward to - feels like catching up in a friend's spotless kitchen. The staff are just lovely, and the food never disappoints. Honestly, the best part is how relaxed it feels for a group.

The staff here are so lovely. Tianah and Ruby were both really friendly and attentive, which made the whole evening feel relaxed and easy. It's nice when the service is just right, not too fussy but always there when you need something.

Breakfast was served hot, good portion sizes. Menu has plenty of options which is useful. Service was efficient, got the bill quickly. Decent value for the location.

The open kitchen is a nice touch, you can see everything being prepared. Staff were really friendly. Food was excellent, especially the pasta. The place itself is nicely decorated, feels modern but cosy. Would go back.

The gluten-free menu is a real find for coeliacs. Everything felt fresh and carefully prepared.

Been coming here for years, and that flat white is still the one. It's the only spot in town that gets it right, just like the ones I used to have back in NZ. Always consistent.

Fresh fish, worth the wait. Had the grilled sea bass, perfectly cooked. Busy night, took a while. But you can tell it's made to order.

Really liked the cozy, traditional pub feel here. The quirky decor adds to the charm. It's a very welcoming spot for a relaxed meal. My only note is that some of the booths are a bit snug, but the friendly service more than makes up for it.

Love the vibe in here, really cosy and relaxed. The Guinness cake was a proper treat, so moist. A nice spot to just sit for a bit with a coffee.

Friendly service and generous portions. Their house red was a solid match for the hearty mains.

Sea Breeze set. Fish and chips, tea, bread. Solid. The fish was fresh, batter crispy. Staff were on it, quick and friendly. Good spot for a no-fuss meal.

Cycled past and stopped for lunch. The beetroot patty baguette was good, and coffee was solid. Menu had decent options.

The steak pie was a proper homemade one, lovely flaky pastry. Filling was rich and tender, a really satisfying portion. Just what you want on a cold evening.
