Been coming here for years, and their fish and chips never disappoint. The cod is always spot on – crispy batter, never greasy, and the chips are just right. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back.

Pleasant pre Christmas get together with friends. Most courteous to request for special seating. Friendly and courteous service and great carvery with the extensive selection of seasonal and festive vegetables

Grilled fish was spot on, perfectly cooked with a nice char. Seafood casserole was packed with flavour, everything tasted super fresh. A bit pricey, but you can tell they're using quality ingredients.

The pizza base is fantastic, and they have a nice house red that pairs perfectly with it. A proper Italian spot.

Booked for a birthday. The event planning was really well handled, which made everything so much easier. The homemade scotch eggs were lovely. The bar staff were very attentive throughout.

Nice spot for a drink after work. The local beer selection is solid, and the outdoor seating is a plus when the weather's good. Gets a bit crowded on weekends, but that's expected. Good for a quick pint.

The fish and chips were massive, I couldn't finish it all! They boxed it up for me, no fuss at all. Perfect for when you're catching up with mates and want a proper feed without rushing. The staff were really chill about it.

Came here for a quiet dinner. The mixed shawarma plate was the highlight for me—the chicken was incredibly tender and the salad greens tasted so fresh. The staff were very friendly, which was a nice touch. A solid spot for a simple, healthy-ish meal.

The goulash was spot on, rich and hearty. Paired it with a local red they suggested, which really complemented the dish. The chicken cordon bleu was solid too. Felt like a proper home-cooked meal.

The peri-fries were a real highlight, perfectly crispy and well-seasoned. We also had the frozen strawberry yoghurt to finish, which was a nice, refreshing touch.

Popped in for a quick bite, ended up staying a while. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe. Ordered the pasta - portion was huge, couldn't finish it all. Staff were really friendly, no rush at all.

The complimentary popcorn was a nice touch, paired well with my cocktail.

Very accommodating for our large group. The chips were a highlight, and they handled dietary requests well.

Sam and the team are spot on. Attentive without hovering, and they know the wine list. My server suggested a glass of red that paired beautifully with the steak, made the whole thing just click. Professional but friendly vibe.

The mussels in creamy sauce were a generous portion, really hit the spot. Staff were attentive without being overbearing.

The wood-fired oven is the star here. Got a pizza and the crust had that perfect chewy texture with just the right amount of char. Really makes a difference.

Chef Eric's personal welcome and menu walk-through were a nice touch. Really appreciated the focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients.

A dog-friendly spot with a cracking view of the sea and beach. The coffee was decent, but the real star was their local craft lager. Perfectly crisp to sip while watching the world go by. A bit breezy on the terrace, but that's the coast for you.

The staff's warmth really set the tone for a lovely evening.

The menu is huge, but the staff really know their stuff. They walked me through a few dishes I wasn't sure about. The food itself was spot on, just like I remember it from my travels.

Came by for a quick bite, the chips were really good. Crispy outside, fluffy inside. The spot by the river is lovely, especially on a sunny afternoon.

Service was spot on. Our group was pretty big, but they handled it without a hitch. Everything came out hot and together, which is rare. The staff were quick and actually seemed to enjoy being there. No complaints at all.

Had a chat with Marcello after dinner. You can really feel his dedication in the food, especially the handmade pasta. A nice personal touch that rounded off the evening well.

This place is tucked away just off the station, really chill. I love how they serve loose-leaf tea and the eggs are always spot on. The whole vibe is just so relaxed, you can sit for ages.

Perfect for a quick lunch. Food came out fast, tasted fresh and the price was right. Staff were friendly and efficient. Got me in and out in under 30 mins.

Wine flights are a great idea for a quick bite. Lets you try a few different pairings without committing to a full glass.

What an absolute gem! Fantastic food and such a lovely place too. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Food was amazing - chicken terrine for him and Poached hake with a pea mousse, salt and vinegar gel, warm tartar sauce, potato scraps for me. Amazing! Both had the beef cheeks and risotto-delicious - Slow cooked beef cheek, risotto milanese, bone marrow butter and parsley Pudding if Arctic roll with lemon curd and white chocolate for him and Pistachio and Tahini Babka with Pistachio Ice Cream for me.Love red wine too

The Nutella pizza was such a fun shareable dessert! Not too sweet, and the dough was just right. We all loved it. The tiramisu was good too, but that pizza was the star for our table.

The Monday 99p mains are a steal. Alessia was lovely and suggested a nice glass of red that went perfectly with the steak.

My go-to for a quick coffee break. The brew is always hot, never bitter. Gets busy at lunch so sometimes a short wait to order. Still, a solid spot for a fast caffeine fix.
