Good selection on the menu. Had the sablefish for a quick lunch. It was fresh and cooked well. Got my food fast, which is what I needed. Solid spot for a quick bite.

My go-to breakfast in Saanich. The ingredients are always so fresh and high-quality, which I really appreciate. Their homemade jam is a highlight!

Sunset on the patio was the star of the show. We just grabbed a couple of drinks, but that view really made the evening. A bit pricey for just cocktails, but totally worth it for the scene.

Stopped in on a layover. The lamb burger and fresh fries were really good. Rachel was so friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience very comfortable.

Service was super quick and friendly! The rice and bean bowl is a solid lunch choice, really filling. Also, gotta mention the washrooms were spotless, which is a nice plus when you're catching up with friends.

The vintage decor and trivia cards on the tables make it such a fun, relaxed spot. Love the vibe.

The paninis were pretty good, and the pastries are decent. A fine spot to grab a bite if you're near the airport. The coffee was just okay, though.

The portions are huge and everything is made in-house, which is great. Prices are reasonable for the quality.

Spacious dining area, you seat yourself. Good for families. We stopped in after a day out, it was comfortable and efficient for a casual meal. Food came out quickly.

Been coming here for years. The retro decor and cozy diner feel are always the same, which I really appreciate.

Been coming here for years, and the Montreal beef sandwich on the lunch special is always my go-to. The meat is consistently juicy, and the bread never disappoints. It's that kind of reliable quality that keeps me coming back.

Love that they do all-day brekkie! The roast beef was spot on, and those smashed potatoes? So good for sharing with the table. My friends and I lingered for ages just chatting.

Been coming here for years, and the ginger twist is still my go-to.

The chocolate banana cream pie is a standout. Real banana chunks, and the crust is so flaky. Just a cozy spot to enjoy a slice.

Had dinner here a few nights. The wine list had some nice local options that paired well with the seafood. Service was consistently good.

The donuts here are huge and so fluffy! Tried the maple bacon one, it was a fun combo. Really good value for the size you get.

Came for the blueberry pancakes. You can really taste the freshness of the berries, and the batter wasn't overly sweet. The place gets packed, so getting there early is key. A nice, simple breakfast.

The sandwiches here are pretty good, some of the best I've had in town. The staff seems genuinely happy to be there, which is nice. My only minor gripe is that the place can get a bit loud when it's busy.

Breakfast on the go was a win. The house granola had a nice crunch and was surprisingly filling. Also grabbed the waffles with poached pears and bacon – the sweet and salty combo worked well. Staff kept things moving. Need to go back and work my way through that drink menu.

Stopped in for the blackened chicken and ahi tuna. The local cider was light and crisp, perfect for the vibe here.

The Denver breakfast special was solid. The tortilla omelet is huge and packs a garlic punch. Everything is made from scratch, so there's a wait – ours was about 25 minutes. The potato salad that came with it was the standout.

Been coming here for years. Staff are always friendly, and I love that they sell day-old bread at half price. Picked up a loaf yesterday - still perfectly good. It's a nice little spot in the neighbourhood.

The apricot galette was a highlight, with the fruit tasting so fresh and vibrant. A nice treat for a mindful indulgence.

Met a friend here for a mid-morning coffee. The staff was genuinely nice and polite, which was a plus. My latte was solid, good temperature and flavor. A convenient spot to catch up, though it got a bit loud later on.

The coconut gelato here is the one. It's got this smooth, creamy texture and the coconut flavor is spot on, not too sweet. Priced well for the neighborhood.

Stopped by while passing through. The prawn hot and sour soup was incredible, honestly the best I've had. Ended up with a ton of leftovers, which was a nice surprise.

Stumbled on this spot exploring Victoria. The owner was so friendly, we ended up chatting for a bit. It just has that cozy, homey vibe. A real local find.

The space feels like a cozy art studio, which I really like. My pasta salad was light and fresh. The sopressata sandwich had these nice pickled chilies that gave it a good kick. Prices felt fair for what you get.

The soy maple butter latte was a nice surprise. They nailed the balance, not too sweet. Cozy spot, perfect for a quiet afternoon. Had to wait a bit for my drink, but that's okay. The barista suggested a great pairing with their pastry.
