Friendly and efficient service. The portions are generous for the price. Had a nice local red with the steak - a simple, solid pairing that worked. Good for a straightforward meal.

Found this spot by the harbor. The menu’s varied, but the mussels and calamari stood out — fresh and cooked just right. Creme brûlée was spot on, too. A solid choice for seafood.

Booked ahead, glad we did. The wait for walk-ins looked long. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients were in my salad. The greens were crisp, and the tomatoes tasted like they were just picked. A nice touch for a health-conscious diner like me.

The server at the register was so patient with our card issue. Just sorted it out calmly, no stress at all. That kind of help is really appreciated.

Been coming here for years. The team's always patient with my French, even when I'm struggling to explain what I want.

What a shame they're closing at the end of the year. The food was solid and the owner-chef really cared. Gonna miss this spot.

Came for the venison ragout special. Meat was tender, sauce had real depth. Homemade fries were solid, crispy the way they should be. Place felt genuinely local, not touristy. Service was friendly but a bit slow at peak time. Decent price for what you get. Would eat here again.

The mussels were spot on, really fresh and tasty. Fries felt a bit frozen though, and the bread wasn't proper pita. Still, I'd go back for the mussels alone.

Nice spot right by the casino, terrace is decent for people-watching. Got the snacks, portion was smaller than I expected for the price. Tasted fine, just not the kind of place where you leave full. Service was friendly enough though. Probably fine if you're just grabbing a drink nearby.

Nice little spot with a decent beer list. Chairs are comfy enough to hang around for a while, which is always a plus.

The spaghetti curry with chicken and scampi was really good. Sat outside, right by the beach, which was nice. Service was quick, didn't have to wait long for the food. Prices felt fair for what you got. Only thing is the chairs are a bit hard after a while, but that's minor. Would come back for that pasta dish.

The North Sea fish and lobster were solid, really fresh. Decor’s nice, staff was on top of things. Just note the online menu doesn’t always match what they actually have.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the daily special—really solid for the price. Service was quick, staff friendly, no complaints there. Food came out fresh and hit the spot. Nothing fancy, but honestly, for what you pay, it's a good deal. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

The entrecôte with peppercorn sauce was really good, and the little aquarium in the corner is such a cool touch. We ended up staying way longer than planned just chatting. Service was friendly too 😊

The Brussels waffle with sugar was good, but honestly the portion felt a bit small for the price. Coffee was fine though.

The beef cheeks were really good, tender and full of flavour. Terrace view over the meadows is lovely too. Just a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd still go back.

Stopped by for a quick bite and went with the spaghetti bolognese. It was actually pretty good, sauce had a nice depth to it. Portion felt right for the price too. Nothing fancy, just a solid spot if you're in Ypres and want something easy.

Angus burger with the runny egg was spot on. Veggie tagliatelle was creamy but fresh. Fair prices for being right on the square. Staff were nice enough 👍

The line was out the door but they moved people through fast. Staff stayed friendly even with the rush. I grabbed a quick bite and was back out in no time. Nothing fancy, just solid and efficient. Kind of rare to find that pace in a busy spot.

Nice spot in that old building they fixed up. Had the starters which were great, but a couple of the mains fell a bit flat. Still, decent place to grab a bite.

Naima was on her first shift and honestly she did great. We asked to switch tables and they handled it right away. Food was solid too.

Stopped by after the Last Post ceremony. Steak was cooked right, and the waffle with Nutella and cream hit the spot. Quick service too, which I appreciated.

The shrimp croquettes were the highlight—soft, fresh filling. Bouillabaisse had great flavor but the bread felt kinda supermarket-level. Langoustine was a touch overcooked. Still enjoyed it.

The owner cracked a joke while I was ordering — good guy. Grilled prawns with garlic were spot on, fresh and cooked just right.

Cozy little place with maybe thirty seats. Got busy fast but the service stayed friendly and quick. The €22 three-course menu was solid for the price.

Friendly staff and quick service. Got a seat on the terrace right away, which was nice after walking around. Solid spot for a quick bite.
