Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the daily special—really solid for the price. Service was quick, staff friendly, no complaints there. Food came out fresh and hit the spot. Nothing fancy, but honestly, for what you pay, it's a good deal. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

The entrecôte with peppercorn sauce was really good, and the little aquarium in the corner is such a cool touch. We ended up staying way longer than planned just chatting. Service was friendly too 😊

Decent spot for a quick bite. Got the pasta and it was cooked right, sauce had good flavor. Price is fair for what you get, especially these days. Service was friendly enough, nothing to complain about. Wish they'd throw in a bit of salad or something, but that's me being picky. I'd come back if I'm in the area.

The Brussels waffle with sugar was good, but honestly the portion felt a bit small for the price. Coffee was fine though.

Cozy little place, felt like stepping back in time. Waffles were solid and the coffee hit the spot. Staff didn’t rush us even though we showed up right before closing.

The beef cheeks were really good, tender and full of flavour. Terrace view over the meadows is lovely too. Just a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd still go back.

Stopped by for a quick bite and went with the spaghetti bolognese. It was actually pretty good, sauce had a nice depth to it. Portion felt right for the price too. Nothing fancy, just a solid spot if you're in Ypres and want something easy.

Angus burger with the runny egg was spot on. Veggie tagliatelle was creamy but fresh. Fair prices for being right on the square. Staff were nice enough 👍

The line was out the door but they moved people through fast. Staff stayed friendly even with the rush. I grabbed a quick bite and was back out in no time. Nothing fancy, just solid and efficient. Kind of rare to find that pace in a busy spot.

Nice spot in that old building they fixed up. Had the starters which were great, but a couple of the mains fell a bit flat. Still, decent place to grab a bite.

Naima was on her first shift and honestly she did great. We asked to switch tables and they handled it right away. Food was solid too.

Stopped by after the Last Post ceremony. Steak was cooked right, and the waffle with Nutella and cream hit the spot. Quick service too, which I appreciated.

The shrimp croquettes were the highlight—soft, fresh filling. Bouillabaisse had great flavor but the bread felt kinda supermarket-level. Langoustine was a touch overcooked. Still enjoyed it.

The owner cracked a joke while I was ordering — good guy. Grilled prawns with garlic were spot on, fresh and cooked just right.

Cozy little place with maybe thirty seats. Got busy fast but the service stayed friendly and quick. The €22 three-course menu was solid for the price.

Friendly staff and quick service. Got a seat on the terrace right away, which was nice after walking around. Solid spot for a quick bite.

We walked in during a private event, yet they still squeezed us in. Service stayed sharp despite the chaos. Didn't eat, but the plates coming out looked seriously good. I grabbed a glass of red while waiting—decent pour, not overpriced. Would come back for a proper dinner next time. Just wish they had a couple more options by the glass.

Pizza was solid, pasta too. Place had a good vibe, staff friendly enough. Bit pricey for what it is, but portions are big. Didn't leave hungry.

The terrace right on the sand is still my favorite spot here. Fries were spot on again, staff friendly as always. Keeps me coming back.

Been coming here for a while now, and the service is always on point. Portions are solid too, never left hungry. Just a dependable spot I keep going back to.

Smoked tuna was the standout — really well done. Terrace is lovely, place had a nice buzz. Got there early and it filled up fast with locals, so that worked out. Service was fine, nothing crazy. Wouldn't mind going back for that tuna again.

Nice relaxed spot. The shrimp croquettes were really good, mains solid too. They let us bring our dog inside, which was a big plus.

Came here alone on a busy Saturday night and honestly it worked out great. Got the grilled octopus — super tender, not chewy at all. Staff was friendly without hovering. Only thing is it got a bit loud later, but that’s on me for going at peak time. Solid spot if you’re flying solo 👍

Been coming here for a while now and the fish is always cooked just right. That chocolate cake with ice cream keeps pulling me back too. Staff were patient with us even though we don't speak the local language.

The côte à l’os was the reason I came and it didn’t disappoint. Cooked exactly how I asked, nice char on the outside, pink in the middle. That’s really all I care about. Portion was generous too. Maybe a bit pricey but for that cut of meat it makes sense. I’d order it again.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Got the four-course menu and honestly, every plate was solid. No complaints about the food at all. Service kept things moving, which I appreciate. Place was pretty calm for a weekday. Would come back if I'm in the area again.
