The crepes here are solid — I had the classic butter and sugar one and it hit the spot. Honestly the food is fine, not mind-blowing, but the view at sunset is the real reason to come. If you're in the area around golden hour, grab a seat outside. Just don't expect a fancy meal.

Lovely terrace right on the beach, perfect for catching up with friends over drinks. Cocktails were good but a bit pricey. 😊

The waiter kept our kids laughing the whole meal, which honestly made it easy for us to actually eat. Food was solid too. Parking's a bit of a hunt, but we got lucky with a spot out front.

The pancakes were solid and the portion was generous. Classic brasserie spot at the coast, service did the job. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Came here on a weekday evening. Owner-chef is alone in the kitchen, so expect a bit of a wait. Food was fresh though, you can tell. Had the grilled fish and it was cooked right. Staff greeted me warmly at the door. Nothing fancy, but solid for a casual dinner. Price is fair for what you get.

Dropped by for dinner and honestly the staff made it for me—super friendly without hovering. Had the pasta, solid but nothing crazy. Place was busy but not chaotic. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The pizza here actually tastes like something you'd get in Italy, not the usual Belgian version. Espresso was solid too, short and strong. Place itself is pretty basic though, wooden tables and not much cushioning on the chairs. Fine for a quick bite, but I wouldn't linger too long after finishing.

Nice spot right in the middle of Nieuwpoort, big terrace outside. Menu's got plenty of choice, food was well put together. Prices are a bit steep for what you get though. Staff were friendly enough but we waited a while between courses. Fine for a relaxed lunch if you're not in a hurry.

The bouillabaisse was really good—rich and full of flavor. Service was friendly without hovering, which I appreciated. Prices felt fair for what you got. My only small gripe? The chairs were a bit hard by the end of the meal. But honestly, I left satisfied and would come back if I'm in the area again.

Fair prices for what you get, especially the portion sizes. Solid choice if you're eating by the sea.

We ended up coming here twice in one trip. Second time we just walked in, no reservation, and they found us a table on the terrace anyway. That was nice. The food was solid both times, and the staff actually seemed happy to see us. Not the kind of place you need to plan around, just show up and it works.

Friendly staff, even when my Dutch wasn't great. Solid spot for a quick coffee and a snack. The seating was a bit cramped though.

Loved the tableside prep here—felt like a little show with our food. Wine pairing matched really well too. Service was warm, family-run kind of vibe. Just wish the pacing was a bit quicker between courses.

Visited a few times while in town. Sole and salmon were both solid, menu has enough variety. Service was efficient, no complaints.

Great portions for the price, and the place was really clean. You can tell the owners actually care about their customers.

The staff here are so welcoming and attentive. They really make you feel at home from the moment you walk in. It's a nice, relaxed atmosphere that lets you just enjoy your meal.

A nice little spot in Hazebrouck. The pub-style food was simple and pretty good, just what we wanted. The stew was decent, though the portion was a bit small for the price.

Honest cooking, decent portions for the price. Got the steak and it was fine, nothing fancy. Salad on the side was the same on every plate though, got a bit repetitive. For a quick meal without breaking the bank, it does the job. Not somewhere I'd go for a special night out, but the bill felt fair for what we got.

The grilled fish in the pan was really fresh, cooked just right. We sat near the window and the light was nice, not too harsh. Chairs were comfortable enough to linger a bit. Staff smiled at our dog, which I appreciated. Only thing—it got a little warm inside by the end.

The dim sum here hit the spot after a long walk along the coast. Prices are fair for what you get, and the wonton soup had that homemade feel. It's not fancy, but the flavors are solid. A bit quiet on a Tuesday evening, which I actually liked. Good enough to keep in mind for next time I'm in Ostend.

The lunch menu here is honestly a solid deal — meat came out properly cooked and the staff didn’t rush us at all. I sat near the window and the light was nice, not too harsh. Only thing: tables are a bit close together, so you kinda hear everyone’s conversation. Still, for the price, I left full and satisfied.

The seafood platter for two was huge, honestly could've fed three. Fresh as it gets, just needed a bit of lemon.

Solid terrace view of the square. Beer selection's good, food was decent. Busy but worth it for the price.

The staff really looked after us—they moved tables around so our kids in wheelchairs had plenty of room. That alone made the visit. Food was solid too, the chef knows their stuff. I had a nice glass of red with the lamb, worked well. Place got a bit loud later on, but honestly didn't mind.

The banana and chocolate pancake was properly balanced, not too sweet. Salad tasted fresh too. Place was clean, staff friendly enough. Got busy around noon so we waited a bit for the bill, but nothing crazy. Solid spot for a relaxed lunch if you're not in a rush.

Stopped here for lunch after a walk along the boulevard. Got the steak, cooked just right, and the fries came with homemade mayo on the side. That was a nice touch. Service was friendly, nothing over the top. Place is right on the beach, so the view is hard to beat. Wouldn't mind going back.

Stopped by for a casual dinner and grabbed a few Belgian beers—decent selection, not gonna lie. Food was tasty, nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Service was friendly enough, though we did wait a bit for the bill. Portion sizes were fair for what you pay, so I left satisfied. Wouldn’t mind coming back if I’m in the area again.

Came here on a quiet Tuesday evening. Had the duck confit — pretty good, decent portion. The sauce was rich without being heavy. Service was fine, nothing fancy but attentive enough. Prices are on the higher side for the area, but the quality holds up. Wouldn't go out of my way, but if you're nearby, it's a solid choice.
