Stumbled upon it driving by. The food was solid, good quality for the price. But what really stuck with me was the space itself – the high ceilings and those big windows let in so much light, felt really open and relaxed.

The pasty and gravy were tasty, but I really liked the clean, bright space. Feels like a proper independent spot.

The delivery mix-up was sorted out quickly. Staff were very apologetic, which I appreciated. The food itself was decent.

Good range of real ales, the pint I had was decent. They sometimes have live music, which is a nice touch. It was a bit loud for conversation when the band was on, but fine for a casual drink.

Been coming here for years. Their wine list is solid, and the staff knows how to pair a glass with your main. That's what keeps me coming back. The food's always on point, too.

The Korean chicken wings were so good! Perfectly crispy with a sticky, spicy glaze. Definitely ordering them again.

Loved the upstairs space. Those big bay windows let in the most beautiful light during lunch. Felt so peaceful just sitting there. The bill for five of us, with a few drinks, was surprisingly gentle.

The food here has that lovely, homemade feel to it. We grabbed a bottle of their olive oil on the way out – perfect for when my friends come over for dinner.

The call zall Naga was lovely—spicy but you could still taste all the flavours. The chairs were quite comfy, which was a nice surprise.

Popped in for a quick drink, they had treats for the dog at the bar which was a nice touch. Staff were really sound, managed to squeeze us in even though it was packed.

Seafood linguine was spot on, pasta cooked just right. The wholetail scampi was a nice touch. Staff were really friendly, even turned the music down a bit when we asked. Made for a relaxed evening.

The custom veggie dish was spicy and creamy, really thoughtful.

The drive-thru staff were really on it. They actually warned me the food was super hot before I drove off. That's a nice touch you don't always get. The burger was decent, but honestly, for the price, I was expecting a bit more in the box. Felt a little light.

A nice little pub with decent weekend music. They do karaoke and quizzes on weeknights, which is a fun touch. The atmosphere is pretty good. A solid spot for a casual drink.

Quiz night was packed, decent vibe. Becky and Lilly were on it, really attentive with the drinks. My burger was solid, but the chips could've been crispier. Good spot for a casual pint and a bite.

Popped in for a quick lunch while shopping. The kids' play area is a lifesaver - they loved the slides and climbing frame. Gave us a proper 20 minutes to actually eat our food in peace.

The Cornish pasty was fantastic, flaky crust and a rich filling. Paired it with a local ale, which cut through the richness nicely. The coffee was good, but the pasty was the star. A solid spot for a proper lunch.

Been coming here for years for their bacon butty. It's a proper one, good bacon, decent bread, and you get a lot for your money. Staff are always friendly. Easy to park and a quick stroll to the front.

Came for the TV show connection, which is a nice touch. Food was decent, nothing special. Service was efficient, got us in and out quickly. Worth a stop if you're in the area and a fan.

Been here a few times. They do decent mid-week deals, like 40% off mains. Just a tip – ask them to bring your main out hot, not after you've finished your starter. Makes a difference.

Stopped in for lunch, everything tasted fresh and homemade. The pasta was really good, just the right amount of sauce. We'll probably be back.

The BYO policy is a nice touch. The ingredients in the salad were noticeably fresh, which I really appreciate.

This place has so much character. Love the old beams and the fireplace. They sometimes have live music, which really adds to the cosy, relaxed vibe.
