A decent traditional pub. The steak and ale pie was pretty good, and the sticky toffee pudding was lovely. The menu has some nice options. It was a bit noisy inside, but fine for a casual meal.

Booked a standard room, got upgraded to a suite with two rooms and a private bath. Can't complain about that for the price we paid. A nice surprise.

The guy making my sub was really focused. He took his time layering everything just right, even asked if I wanted extra pickles. You don't see that kind of care much anymore. Made a simple lunch feel a bit more special.

The half chicken from the lunch menu is really good, cooked on a BBQ with lovely spices. The salad with the homemade spicy mayo is a nice touch. Staff were friendly, and the booth seating was quite comfortable.

Parking was a bit of a hunt on a Friday evening. Had to circle the block twice before finding a spot a few streets over. Not a huge deal, but something to factor in if you're on a tight schedule.

Arrived early and the restaurant was very busy, but within 5minutes were where taken and showed to our table. we were asked if the area was okay and also if we were allergic to any ingredients, and informed that our waiter was called Nia. About 5minutes Nia arrived and again asked if were were allergic to any ingredients, then asked if we were ready to order, otherwise she would give us more time. She took our order, and delivered our drinks and my starter. The Prawn Cocktail that I had was exactly as I liked it and after eating it, we went and got our roast meals. Overhaul the food and drinks were perfect, the lady who showed us to our table came and checked to see if everything was fine, which it was. Nia, the lady who took our order and brought my Prawn Cocktail plus drinkswas charming and very helpful as was the other lady with short hair who took us to our table. Please convey our thanks to both of them, we have been many times before and always have never been disappointed there.

Came in for a quick treat and the warm chocolate lava cake totally hit the spot. The gooey centre was just right, not too sweet. Service was super quick too, which was nice when you're craving something sweet in a hurry.

Came for the meat platter. It's huge! The lamb and chicken were really tender, and the pitta bread was warm and fluffy. The salad and tzatziki were a nice fresh touch. Honestly, two of us couldn't finish it – could easily feed four. Good value for the money.

A genuinely dog-friendly place, and the staff were lovely. The wine list had some nice, approachable options to pair with a casual lunch.

The steak was cooked exactly as I asked, which I appreciate. The curry and mac and cheese were both solid. A good, straightforward meal.

Really enjoyed the afternoon tea here. The sandwiches and cakes were a nice selection. What stood out was the staff's suggestion for a light, sparkling wine to go with the scones - it worked perfectly. Very friendly service all around.

The staff were really helpful. I mentioned a food allergy and they made everything fresh for me, no fuss. Food was tasty too.

Hannah and Dave have put together such a cosy, quirky little spot. It genuinely feels like you're over at a favourite relative's house for dinner. The whole vibe is just really warm and welcoming.

Dahi puri was the highlight, really fresh and tangy. The manager suggested it, spot on. Desserts were nice too, a good end to the meal with friends.

Lovely chilled vibe, just right for a lazy brunch. Sat outside, but the indoor area looked nice and cool with the AC. The avocado toast was spot on, though the portion felt a bit small for the price. ☕️

Love that they have so many gluten-free choices. The owner came over to check on us and seemed really clued up about allergies. Nice, relaxed vibe for a neighbourhood place.

Turkish eggs were tasty, the ginger tea was lovely. But the tables are a bit too close together, felt like I was sharing my neighbour's conversation.

Loved the spicy chicken wrap, the seasoning was spot on. The oat milk chai latte was a nice, creamy pairing. Simple, cozy space to enjoy it in. A solid lunch spot.

Perfect spot in Lynton after a walk. The little info corner with local tips was such a thoughtful touch. Really made you feel settled in.

The Fiordilatte gelato is fantastic. Had it as an affogato with their americano - really good combo. Bit of a walk to get here, but no regrets.

Staff were super friendly, Doha especially patient and attentive. The desserts are excellent, some of the best I've had in Cardiff. Coffee's really good too. Solid spot.

The Pad Thai was spot on, really flavourful. Ryan swapped out a starter for us without any hassle, which was nice. Sweetcorn fritters were good too. Solid spot for a casual bite.

The team here are always so lovely and quick! Perfect for a quick catch-up with a mate between meetings. Got my order sorted in no time and the vibe was just right for a chat.
