Solid burgers and the ribs were properly juicy. Malbec from Argentina went way better with the food than I expected for this part of town. Place feels like a real upgrade from before.

Reasonable prices and a big menu of Belgian classics. Staff were friendly and we got our food quick. Solid spot for a filling lunch.

Stopped by for a kriek and honestly the selection is solid. Had the framboise, it was fresh and not too sweet. Place gets a bit loud later in the evening though. Fine if you just want a quiet beer earlier.

Stopped by for a drink after work last week. Bartender was friendly, didn't rush me. Prices are fair for the neighbourhood, not cheap but okay. Place gets a bit loud later in the evening, but that's on me for staying that long. Fine spot if you just want a quiet pint and not be bothered.

Stopped by for a quiet dinner. Service was sharp, no waiting around. Food came out well presented, flavors were solid. Cozy spot, decent for a date or just getting out of the cold. Prices are fair for what you get. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

Nice spot right in the center, proper old pub feel. Food's straightforward but done well, and they've got a solid beer selection. Only thing is the service—sometimes you're waiting a bit longer than you'd like. Still, for a quick pint and something to eat, it does the job.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and grabbed a couple of beers from their tap list. Solid selection, especially if you're still figuring out Belgian styles. Service was fast enough for a midday break. Didn't try food, just drinks. Place works if you need a decent pint without wasting time.

If you're a Barça fan, this place is a must—there's even a small museum dedicated to the club. The food is authentic and the owners are happy to share their passion for both.

The sole fillet was just okay, but the fries were properly crispy. Fine for a quick bite if you're nearby.

Good food and a solid beer list without crazy prices. Small place so it fills up fast, but that's fine. Staff were friendly too.

Stopped here for a quick breakfast before my train and honestly it was perfect for that. Got a coffee and a croissant, nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Staff were super friendly and didn't keep me waiting. Location really is the best part though, right at the station. Would pop in again if I'm passing through. 😊

Great beer list and the spiced popcorn pairs nicely with a cold one. Terrace is the spot if you want to actually chat though—inside gets loud. 🍺

Came here for a quick lunch with a friend and honestly the lava stone steak was the highlight. You cook it yourself at the table, which sounds gimmicky but actually works. Beer list is solid too, and prices felt fair for this neighborhood. Place was a bit busy but we didn't wait long. Would come back for a casual hangout. 🍺

Stopped by for a drink and ended up staying longer than planned. The beer list is solid, and the live music was a nice touch. Darts and billiards kept things interesting. Cozy spot, nothing fancy, but it works. 🍺

Tried the veggie stir fry and pesto pasta on separate visits—both solid and reasonably priced. Just ask for extra onions.

Books everywhere and a piano you can actually play — such a chill spot to just sit and read. Felt like hanging out in someone’s cozy living room.

The amaretto coffee was the highlight—really good for a café. Nice spot to grab a bite and a drink, though it can get a bit busy.

Stumbled onto this place and the agave spirit list is seriously impressive. Tried a few things I'd never heard of and the bartender knew exactly how to guide me. Hidden back bar is a nice touch too, feels like a secret. Only wish the cocktails weren't quite so pricey, but you're paying for the quality.

Been coming here for years - those lunch sandwiches never miss. Solid tapas spot for a casual evening glass of wine.

Drinks and music were solid, but cash only? Kind of annoying in 2025. Didn’t try much food, looked okay though. Chill spot if you’re prepared.

Came for the Westvleteren 12 and it didn't disappoint. Pricey, but honestly one of the few places in town where you can actually check that one off. Cash only though, so don't forget to hit the ATM before. Had it with a small snack, pretty chill spot overall.

Decent spot for a few beers and snacks. The view over the square is the main draw. Slightly overpriced, but that's pretty standard for a tourist location.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast before the museums. The place has that Parisian bistro vibe, pretty charming. Had the croque madame — decent size, cheese was nicely melted. Service was friendly without hovering. Coffee was fine, nothing fancy. Slightly on the pricier side for what it is, but the atmosphere makes up for it. Solid choice if you're in the area.

Right on the plaza, so the view is hard to beat. Grabbed a drink and just relaxed—terrace was a bit busy, but fine for a quick stop.

Oysters and Wagyu carpaccio were spot on, but the Holstein steak really stole it for me. Owner checked in on us a couple times, nice touch. Crepes Suzette for dessert, proper way to end.

Nice spot on the terrace by the abbey ponds. Food's okay, standard brasserie stuff. Bit pricey for what you get, but the setting makes up for it.

Been coming here for months now. The pistachio croissant still hits the spot every time - flaky, not too sweet. Coffee's consistent too, which is rare in the EU Quarter. Staff manage the rush pretty well.

The ribeye Rossini was cooked properly, and the goat cheese salad had a nice tang to it. Service was a bit uneven—one waiter was great, another seemed distracted. Still, a decent meal for what we paid. Nothing fancy, but I'd probably come back if I'm in the area.
