Cozy place, staff were friendly enough. Breakfast was okay but the coffee tasted like it came from a machine. Wish they'd put more effort into that.

Croissants were properly flaky, butter came through well. Probably the best I've had around here. Pain au chocolat held up too. It's a small place, so don't expect to sit long. Fine if you're passing through and need a solid pastry fix.

Despite some dishes lacking flavor, the service was outstanding and made the visit enjoyable. The outside seating area has a relaxing vibe, making it a great spot for a cozy meal.

Restaurant in Stanhope Hotel Brussels by Thon Hotels

The ribeye was cooked exactly how I asked. Juicy inside, decent crust on the outside. Portion was generous for the price. Didn't care that the table was cramped, the meat did the talking. Would grab it again if I'm in the area.

Nice terrace right on the Dijle next to the old brewery. Had a decent glass of red with my main, worked well enough. Service friendly but slow, typical Belgian pace. Under €40 for main, dessert, and a drink felt fair.

The owner actually took time to walk me through the menu — lots of local and organic stuff. You can tell they really care about what they serve.

Decent spot for a quick lunch. City croque was fine, salad on the side was fresh. Service fast enough. Nothing fancy, but you know what you're paying for.

Loved the Crunchy Atomium waffle—that fresh whipped cream really made it. Managed to grab an outside table without waiting long.

Steak was decent, pizza pretty good too. Place felt clean, which I always appreciate. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot for a quick bite. Kinda wish the steak had more seasoning though. Fine for what it is.

This place was amazing. The best sushi I have ever had by far. The tonijn ngiri was a work of art and made me so happy. The chef was knowledgeable, friendly, and explained every piece of fish. She was so attentive and passionate about his craft, she made our experience so memorable. The customer service was beyond excellent. We asked for drink recommendations and each drink we had paired perfectly with our sushi.

The owner actually takes time to talk with everyone, which makes the place feel personal. Just don't come if you're in a hurry—lunch took a while.

Food's decent but nothing special. Had the pasta, took forever to come out even though it wasn't that crowded. Location's great for people-watching though, right in the middle of everything. Presentation was a bit meh, but taste was okay. Service is hit or miss, depends on the day I guess. Fine for a quick bite if you're not in a rush.

We booked a table for a work group and they kept our cake in the fridge for us, which was a nice touch. The staff handled everything smoothly, no confusion with the bill or anything. Atmosphere was relaxed enough for talking, not too loud. I only wish the menu had a few more lighter options, but the food we ordered was fresh and well-prepared. Fine for what we needed.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and ended up grabbing two pastéis de nata. The classic one is really good — flaky crust, creamy filling, not too sweet. Tried the pistachio-raspberry too, which was a nice change. Place is small but fine for a short break.

Nice spot in Waterloo. Food was solid, dessert menu had some good options. Service a bit slow though.

Renovation looks great, food still on point. Sujuk was properly grilled, nice spice kick. Desserts hit the spot too. Cash or card, no hassle.

Decent spot for a quick lunch. Sandwiches were fresh and the self-serve buffet is a nice touch. Just expect a bit of a queue around noon.

The spinach and cheese pie was really good, and the espresso definitely hit the spot. The raspberry cheesecake wasn't quite what I expected, but honestly the pie alone was worth it. Cute little place to grab a quick bite with friends, nothing fancy but cozy enough. Would come back for that pie though 😊

The seitan burger was unreal—didn't miss the meat at all. Just wish the hummus came with more pita.

The American breakfast here is solid. Pancakes were fluffy, not too dense, and the plate looked really nice when it came out. Portion felt generous for the price. I'd come back just for that, though I wish they'd add a bit more fresh fruit on the side. Simple, filling, and the ingredients tasted fresh.

Stopped by for a quick dinner with a friend. Menu's pretty straightforward, nothing fancy, but the food hit the spot. Portions are generous—we actually took some home. Place was busy but we got seated right away. Fine for what it is, just don't expect anything fancy.

The staff fixed my order mix-up quickly and the cake was tasty. Portion felt a bit small for what you pay, but service saved it.

Decent spot for a quick lunch. Fish and chips was solid - fries were properly crispy, salad actually fresh. Service was quick, no waiting around. Prices a bit steep for what you get, but the location makes it convenient. Wouldn't go out of my way, but fine if you're in the area.

Been coming here for a while now. Coffee's consistently good, which is honestly the main reason I keep showing up. Had a quiet breakfast the other morning, no rush, just sat by the window. Place has that real feel to it, not trying too hard. If you're after a solid start to the day, this does it.

Stopped by for a quick lunch near Place Luxembourg. Burger was solid, decent flavor, but honestly a bit small for the price. Terrace seating is the main draw if you can get a spot. Service was efficient, no complaints there. Fine for a casual bite, just don't expect a bargain.
