The scone with clotted cream and jam was a lovely find. The menu is massive, though.

The portion for a single scoop is huge, honestly. It's more like two scoops in one. I got the pistachio and it was enough to share. Good for the price, no complaints there.

Portions are huge, and the presentation is spot on. Their fish and chips with local haddock is the star. I had a crisp lager with it, which cut through the batter perfectly. A solid choice for a classic done well.

Just what I needed after a windy walk on the beach. The vibe is so cosy, with these cute little paintings everywhere. Grabbed a hot chocolate and a slice of their lemon drizzle cake – it was spot on.

Been here a few times for a quick lunch. The food is always solid, nothing fancy but you know what you're getting. Portions are decent for the price, which is the main thing for me. Good spot when you just need something reliable.

Lovely fish and chips by the sea. The freshness of the ingredients really stood out for me. The fish was so light and flaky, clearly just cooked. A good, simple meal.

Solid local chippy. The spicy haggis was really good. Got the beef pie too, and there was enough for another meal later, all for under twenty quid.

Been coming here for years. Their fish and chips are still the best around. Fish is always fresh, batter is light and crisp. Just right for a quick bite by the water.

The tapas menu has a really fun variety of small plates. The wine list is huge, which made pairing easy.

Lovely spot for a catch-up with friends. The little gift shop in the corner was a cute touch – we ended up browsing for ages after our meal. The vibe is just right for a relaxed chat.

The steak and gravy pie was lovely. A staff member suggested taking it down to Loch Fleet with a cuppa. Just sitting there, the quiet water made it taste even better.

Been coming here for years, and the pop pop chicken and prawns are always spot on. That batter is just packed with flavour, never greasy. The homemade sauces and slaw are a nice touch, but honestly, it's the consistency of that main dish that keeps me coming back.

The bar's afternoon tea had some nice Scottish bites. The whisky selection was a pleasant surprise, made for a relaxed afternoon.

Lovely little spot. The owner is a real character, had us laughing the whole time. Ended up trying a few of their whiskies - the peaty one was a nice surprise. Just a really good vibe.

Been coming here for years. The fish and chips are the best around, honestly. Crispy batter, flaky cod. Their Guinness is proper, too. A bit pricey these days, but you get what you pay for.

Don't be put off by the street. The menu has a great Bangladeshi twist. My fussy friend said it was his best Indian meal ever. The lamb bhuna was spot on.

Grabbed the Cajun chicken pasta on my lunch break. Came out super quick, which was perfect. Pasta was tasty, and they had a decent beer selection. Good spot for a quick bite.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The hot sausage roll was really fresh, you could tell the pastry was made that morning. The gingerbread had a lovely, warm spice to it. Just sat on the bench outside with them. Simple and satisfying.

Stumbled upon this place. Got a bagel and sat in their sunny garden - really nice on a good day. The bagel itself was fine, but honestly, for what you get, the price felt a bit steep.
