Nice little spot on the main street. Grabbed a coffee and a slice of their carrot cake while people-watching. The cake was really moist, not too sweet. Saw a few dogs with their owners, which was a nice vibe.

Popped in for a gluten-free fish cake supper. Honestly, didn't expect much, but it was spot on. Really nice to see a chippy actually catering to different diets. The batter was crisp, no greasy aftertaste.

Been coming here for years. The hot chocolate is the real deal, made with actual chocolate pieces, so it's always thick and rich. That's the one thing I keep coming back for.

The indoor play area is great for kids. Parents can actually relax and eat their meal in peace.

Decent spot for a curry. The lamb bhuna was solid - tender meat, rich sauce. Kingfisher on tap was a bonus. Service was quick, no fuss. Place is clean. Could do with a bit more spice for my taste, but it hit the spot.

The limited menu is a good sign. Had the lamb chops and the pasta, both were spot on. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe too.

Got in early and they let us wait at the whisky bar next door. The mac and cheese was the star for me – so creamy and rich, but not heavy at all. Just the right size portion too.

The fire crackling in the corner was just lovely. It made the whole place feel so warm and inviting. Exactly the kind of cozy spot you want for a quiet dinner.

Been here a few times for a coffee. They've got a decent range of drinks, including beers on tap. The Victoria sponge is always a good bet – not too dry, nice bit of cream.

Been coming here for years. The portions are always generous, and you can tell it's made fresh each time. That's what keeps me coming back.

The burgers and fries were really good. The staff were so friendly and helpful - they noticed we had a bit left and offered a doggy bag without us even asking. Makes the whole experience feel relaxed and thoughtful.

Popped in for lunch. Lovely little cafe, really nice vibe. Had the chicken club sandwich - massive portion, really tasty. Good spot for a quick bite.

Open all year round, which is handy. It does get busy though, so I'd always book a table in advance. The staff were really friendly and the seats were comfy, which made for a relaxed evening.

They had a separate vegan menu and a gluten-free one too. I ordered a couple of things from the vegan side, and the veggies were really fresh. It's nice to have clear options like that.

The food was actually really tasty, which was a nice surprise.

Birthday dinner here last week. The staff really made an effort, which was lovely. Food was spot on – every dish had great flavour and seasoning. Cocktails were top notch too. A bit of a wait for our mains, but that’s a minor thing.

Cute little spot, way bigger inside than it looks. Had a flat white with their local beans, solid. The carrot cake was decent, maybe a bit dry. Saw a few dogs inside, nice touch.

Service was quick even with a queue. Staff were friendly, no rush at all. Got my order sorted fast, which was nice on a busy evening.

Clear signs about table service and paying at the till were a big help. The daily soup choices are interesting, always something new to try. Had a lovely carrot and ginger one today, perfect for a chilly lunch.

The bacon roll was the star. Crispy, thick-cut bacon on a soft, slightly sweet brioche bun. The coffee was good, but that roll... just the right amount of grease. A solid breakfast.

Came with a big group and the portions were huge! We all had leftovers to take home, which was a nice surprise. The bill didn't hurt either.
