Food quality’s definitely improved—flavors were solid. Staff friendly enough. Decent pick for Mexican in Groningen.

We had a voucher that was already past its date, and they still took it without any hassle. That alone made me happy. The food was solid too, nothing crazy, but the service really stood out. Felt like they actually care about people. Nice to see a place that doesn't make you feel awkward over a small thing.

Came here for dinner last week. Service was friendly, and the place feels cozy inside. We ordered a few small plates to share—pretty good, especially the ones with seafood. The canal view is a nice touch, though it gets a bit busy around 8. Prices are fair for what you get. Decent spot if you're in the area.

Service was decent — even when it started pouring, they stayed friendly and sorted everything out. Food came out quick too. Pretty good spot.

Been coming here for years - the marzipan selection never disappoints. Staff remembers regulars, which says a lot. Only issue is deciding what to grab, too many good options honestly.

Been coming here for a while now, and the vegan options keep me coming back. Had the curry again tonight, still as good as the first time. Staff remembers me, which is nice. Place gets busy, but that's a good sign. Just wish they'd open a bit earlier on Sundays.

The fish was fresh and the staff were friendly enough. Busy spot by the harbour, so it gets a bit crowded, but the food made up for it. Decent meal overall.

The sea buckthorn crêpe is still my go-to here—had it again last week and it didn't disappoint. Cozy place, dogs welcome, tea's solid. Just wish they had a bit more seating.

The veggie tarte flambée was tasty, and service was attentive. A bit pricey, but depends what you order. Nice to sit outside.

Been coming here for years, the cakes are always solid. Upstairs seating is a nice bonus when the ground floor fills up. Coffee's consistent too.

Stopped here after a walk on the beach. The pistachio-poppy seed marzipan cake was really good, not too sweet. Coffee was fine. Place sits right in the dunes so the view is nice. Service was quick, friendly enough. A bit busy when we were there but we found a table. Would come back for the cake alone.

The plaice with asparagus and hollandaise was spot on, sauce light and tasty. Walked in without a reservation, still got a window table. Nice relaxed vibe, people playing cards next to us.

The menu’s got a decent mix of regional and international stuff, plus some vegetarian options that actually looked thought-out. I had a nice glass of red with the lamb—good pairing, not too heavy. Food came out well plated, service kept things moving without hovering. Only hiccup: the place got a bit loud as it filled up. Fine for a casual dinner though.

Came for the breakfast buffet. Place is bigger inside than it looks. Food was constantly refilled, decent variety. Staff kept things moving without hovering. Solid choice if you're staying nearby and want a no-fuss morning meal.

The cake display at the counter is really well done—you pick your slice and they bring it over. Viennese apple cake and rum cake were both solid picks.

The staff handled our special requests without fuss, and the mains were solid. Dessert was just okay, nothing to write home about.

Came for dinner last week, burger was properly juicy, not overcooked. The roasted cauliflower surprised me, good char on it. Beer garden looks nice, though it got a bit crowded later. Service was fast enough, no complaints there. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something simple done right.

The curry was good, though I wished it had more heat. Fresh ingredients for sure. Staff were really friendly too.

The burgers looked great when they arrived, fries were properly salted too. Sat near the window, chairs were actually comfortable enough to stay a while. Service was friendly without hovering. Just wish the place wasn't quite so loud, had to raise my voice a bit across the table. Still, decent spot for a casual bite.

Lovely spot with a warm vibe, and their little cafe dog is adorable. Stopped by for a coffee and ended up staying way longer than planned.

The falafel wrap was really fresh, you can tell they make it when you order. I like that they don't drown it in sauce, the herbs actually come through. Small place, easy to walk past. Owner was friendly enough. I'd grab one again if I'm in the area.

Cozy little pub with a proper old-school feel. Friendly staff and good beer, though the smoking took some getting used to.

The Dutch cherry cake was solid—moist, not too sweet. Cozy little spot on a side street, staff friendly enough. Self-service, but that's fine for a quick coffee stop.

Friendly service, decent spot for a quick beer or bite. Staff was on it, food did the job for a casual meal. Nothing fancy, but fine for what it is.

The vegan options here are decent - I had the chickpea curry and it was flavorful without being too heavy. My friend ordered the mushroom pasta and seemed happy with it too. Nothing fancy, but the service was friendly and I didn't have to wait long for a table. Fine for a casual dinner when you want something simple.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and grabbed the saddle of venison for two. Meat was tender, sauces worked well with it. Dessert rounded things off nicely. Booked another table before heading out — that says enough. Service was fast, which I appreciate on a work break.

The seating was really comfortable, which I appreciated after a long day. Staff were friendly without hovering. I had a slice of their homemade cake and it was soft, not too sweet. Place felt calm and unhurried. Only thing is the coffee took a little while to come, but it was fine. I'd stop by again if I'm in the area.
