The location really is the selling point here—right by the beach and pool, kids had plenty of room to run around. Food was decent, nothing fancy, but fine for a casual lunch. Service was quick, which I appreciated. Prices though, ouch. You're definitely paying for the spot. I'd come back for the setting, not the food.

The staff is really friendly and they have a passion for their job ! ???? See you in a month again :)

Central location, easy to find. Breakfast buffet was solid, plenty of options. East Frisian tea was a nice touch. Service fine, nothing to complain about.

Stopped by for dinner with a few friends. Portions are huge, definitely not leaving hungry. Got the mixed grill and it did the job. Staff was chill about us being a bigger group, even sorted out a small booking mess without drama. Prices feel fair for what you get. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

The octopus and gambas were pretty good—cooked well, decent portions. Came for a special occasion and it didn't disappoint. Just wish the service had been a bit faster.

Quick lunch stop — got the fish dish and it came out fast. Fresh, cooked right. Staff didn't hover, which I liked. Solid spot if you're in a hurry.

Came here on a quiet weekday evening. The schnitzel was solid, crispy, not greasy. Portion big enough that I couldn't finish. Place used to be a train station, that's a nice touch. Staff friendly without hovering. Only thing, it got a bit noisy when more people came in. But for a casual dinner, it does the job. I'd go back if I'm in the area.

The place looks great inside, staff were friendly enough. But honestly the food was kinda bland. Presentation was nice though, just didn't match the taste. Prices are fair for the area. Maybe they're going for subtle flavors, just not my thing. I'd come back for a drink maybe, not sure about a full meal.

Tried their delivery tasting menu last night. Honestly the packaging was way better than I expected, everything labeled so I knew what to do. The instructions were clear and it all came together nicely. Would love to actually sit in the restaurant sometime, but this was a solid option for a lazy evening at home.

The vegan burger was solid, and they paired it nicely with a good red. Service was friendly, though the place got a bit loud later on.

Stopped by for dinner and the lamb tagine was spot on. Owner came by to chat, made us feel like regulars. Had a glass of their Moroccan red with it — decent pairing, nothing fancy but it worked. Place is a little tucked away, took me a minute to find it. Would go back for the couscous alone.

Amazing ambience, very gezellig and cosy places to sit. Food was good, portions of some dishes on the smaller side but still a good price-quality level. Highly recommend!

The tiger prawns with pasta were spot on—properly cooked, not rubbery at all. Kids cleaned their plates without complaints, which says a lot. I paired mine with a decent glass of white wine, and it worked nicely with the garlic sauce. Staff were friendly enough, though it got a bit busy mid-meal. Left full, no regrets.

We stopped by for dinner and honestly the duck rillette was the highlight. The sommelier knew exactly what to suggest, which I appreciated. Service was friendly without hovering. Only small thing, the hachis parmentier came out a bit lukewarm. Still, a comfortable spot to unwind. I’d go back for the wine list alone.

We stopped by for lunch and I got the 12-uurtje. The hot chocolate was properly rich, not too sweet. The food was decent, though I did find the portion a bit on the small side for the price. But the ingredients tasted fresh, which I always appreciate. Staff was friendly enough, came by to check on us a couple of times.

The gnocchi really stood out — soft and tasty. Wine list was decent too. Service lagged a bit, but fine for a busy night.

The beef tartare was solid — good kick of spice, nice acidity. Cordon bleu came out juicy, cheese actually melted through it. Service kept it simple, checked in just enough. Place wasn't too loud either, which I appreciated. Nothing fancy, but I'd eat here again if I'm in the area.

The daily specials on the wall are always a safe bet here. Been coming for a while and they keep it consistent. Place gets busy but that's part of the vibe.

Came here for a birthday dinner with a few friends and honestly the table decoration surprised me — they’d set it up without us even asking. Food was solid across the board, especially the pasta. Place got a bit loud later in the evening but it didn’t bother us much. Would come back for a casual night out.

The set menu here is the way to go. Each dish felt well thought out, and the wine pairing actually worked with the food. Nice spot on the island.

We came here twice during our stay, and honestly, the fish was the reason. Cooked just right, flaky, not dry. Portion size was decent for the price, which is rare around here. Service was friendly, no complaints. Second visit was just as good as the first. Wouldn't mind going back if we're in the area again.

The free starter salad was a nice touch. Steak was juicy and well-seasoned, fries were good too. Gets busy though, so book ahead if you can.

The staff actually remembers you when you come back—that's rare. Food was solid, nothing fancy, but the friendly service made it easy to relax.

Came here three times. Burgers were solid, lamb rack was decent too. The all-you-can-eat schnitzel day is the real deal. Fireplace inside makes it cozy. Food's good, nothing fancy but does the job.

The pulled pork burger was solid and the portion felt right for the price. Veggie options were decent too. Staff friendly enough, though it got a bit busy. Fine for a casual bite.

Solid food, fair price for what you get. Inventive but not over the top. Place was calm, no loud music, just easy vibes. Enjoyed the meal without rushing.

Perfect dinner - thanks to the whole team.Visited Groningen with the family, joined a nice evening. Drinks coming really fast, meal was absolutely delicious.

Decent spot in Groningen for a proper dinner. The historic room adds something, though it’s not overly fancy. Had the multi-course menu, local stuff like Wadden Sea seafood stood out. Food was pretty good overall, well put together. Service fine, maybe a bit slow at times, but I’d go back.

The beer list is solid and the place has that proper old-school brown café feel. Had the shrimp croquettes with an espresso — both did the job. Staff left us alone until we needed them, which I appreciated. Only thing is the seating near the window is a bit cramped, but fine for a quick stop.

Came here with five others on a Tuesday night. Service was smooth, no long waits between courses. I had the ribeye, cooked properly, decent seasoning. Others seemed happy with their picks too. Prices felt fair for what you got. Not a mind-blowing dinner, but a solid choice if you're in the area.
