The Black Forest cake was decent, not the best I've had, but the portion is huge. Honestly, one slice is enough for two people. Coffee was good too. Sat by the window with the cathedral view, that part was nice. Just wish the cake had a bit more flavor for the price. It's fine for a one-time visit though.

Easy to get to by tram, and the prices felt fair for what you get. Just a heads up — lunchtime gets pretty hectic, so don't expect a quiet meal.

We booked a table for our team dinner and everything ran pretty smoothly. The food was solid, especially the grilled fish. Our server checked in on us a few times, which I appreciated. Only small thing, the place got a bit loud once it filled up. But for a group thing, it worked well.

The pizza was decent but nothing special. Lasagna came out overcooked and the wine fell flat. Service started slow too. They did comp us something at the end, which was a nice touch.

The terrace view really makes breakfast special. Shakshuka was fresh and flavorful, pancakes light. Croissant came out a bit dry, but I'd still sit outside again for the scenery.

Solid Thai spot in Freiburg, flavors were on point and portions decent. Just wish they'd warn you before the spice hits 😅

Solid Italian spot near Münsterplatz. Minestrone and carbonara were on point, bolognese decent.

The food really delivers—even the simpler plates show the chef knows what they’re doing. I went with a glass of their house red, and it paired nicely with the duck. Cozy spot, full of character. Staff were friendly enough. Book ahead, though; it’s small and locals pack it out.

The pasta was really good — fresh and cooked just right. Prices are a bit high for what you get, but I'd still come back for that dish.

The pork knuckle was the only thing I cared about. Crispy skin, tender meat, proper mustard on the side. That's it. Portion was generous. Didn't pay attention to the history or the family running it. Just ate. Maybe a bit touristy but the food did the talking.

The cake counter had a good selection and the slices were pretty generous. I tried the pistachio buttercream cake - decent, not too sweet. Fine for a quick coffee stop.

The burrata with Parma ham was spot on—creamy, salty, just right. Beef tenderloin came exactly medium rare as asked. Tomahawk though, bit overpriced for what you get. Stick to the simpler stuff.

The Hugo was spot on—light, refreshing, exactly what I needed after a long day. Place gets packed though, so be ready to wait for a seat. That city view makes it worth it.

The guacamole was solid, but the Aztec soup really got me. So much flavor in one bowl, kinda reminded me of something my abuela would make. Menu's pretty big too, lots to pick from. Place had a nice vibe, felt properly Mexican. I'd go back just for that soup honestly.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Butter chicken was solid, creamy and well spiced. Staff friendly, didn’t have to wait long for the food. Place itself is small but cozy. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot.

Service was friendly and quick, even with a full room. They handled our group of 9 smoothly. The vibe was lively but not too loud.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the cream schnitzel. Crispy, well-seasoned, exactly what I needed. Prices are fair for the portion. Service was quick, no complaints there. Place itself is nothing fancy, but clean and fine. Solid spot if you want traditional German food without any fuss.

The interior is really charming, very traditional. Trout was fresh, but honestly a bit underseasoned. Staff kind, no complaints there. Just wish they’d been a little bolder with the salt. Nice spot though, I’d come back for the atmosphere alone.

Finally made it back after nine years. Still the same cozy vibe I remembered. The food was solid, though I wish they'd kept the old menu prices. That warm lighting and the smell of the kitchen... just like before. A bit crowded on a Tuesday night, but honestly, that's part of the charm here.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Pizza was solid — crust had a good chew, tomato sauce actually tasted like real tomatoes. Not the cheapest, but portion was fair. Place was busy even on a weekday, so service was a bit slow. Still, if you're nearby and want decent Italian, it does the job.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and ended up staying longer than planned. The pizza was solid, crust had a good chew. I asked for a wine suggestion to go with it—they pointed me to a local red that paired surprisingly well. Place was busy but not chaotic. Only minor thing: service slowed down a bit later in the evening.

We stopped by for a quick dinner and honestly the staff made it. They brought out free ice cream for the kids and that just made everyone’s night. Food was solid too, nothing crazy but tasty. Place felt really welcoming, like they actually care. Would come back if we’re in the area again 😊

We stopped by for lunch and the staff was really nice about everything. We had a bigger group and they didn’t make it complicated at all. The food came out fresh and hot, which I appreciated. Only small thing, it got a bit busy around noon, but nothing stressful. I’d come back again if I’m in the area.

We had our wedding reception here. Champagne and the BBQ buffet were great, service was on point too. Maybe a bit pricey, but no complaints.

The schnitzel and rösti were really good—fresh and well-prepared. Menu's a bit small, but what they do, they do right. Service was a little slow, but I'd still come back for the food.

The lighting in there is just right—soft, warm, not that harsh bright stuff. We had the schnitzel and it was solid, crispy. Service was friendly without hovering. Only thing, the chairs are a bit hard, so don't plan on a super long sit. But for a relaxed dinner, it worked.

Came here on a whim and honestly the service caught me off guard—super quick, friendly staff. Place started filling up fast around 6:30 though. If you don’t book, get there early or you might wait. I didn’t plan ahead and barely made it in. 😅
